We took our 5 yr old dog to see Tiffanie for reiki as he lost his brother and was having terrible sadness and anxiety. We had tried a pet communicator but his anxiety was still very high. After seeing Tiffanie we noticed an immediate improvement in his demeanor and stress level. He seemed more confident. Carefree as a pup should. His separation anxiety seemed to be less than half and we felt more at ease leaving him alone. He is now very confident after only 2 sessions and we can leave him alone without worrying he is going to cry or howl alone. We see him now resting and sleeping when he is alone that he has never done till now since his brother passed. I'm honestly so confused how people have had bad experiences here. I LOVE Paulys! We've been taking our senior dogs here for about 2 years. I haven't found a single other groomer who takes such care with animals, especially with special needs. One of our dogs is 18 with health issues, the other has mobility issues and no one else would give them one on one attention to ensure they're able to get groomed in such short time. Is the owner weirdly overly bubbly and fake to fulfill people's needs for "customer service"? Nope she's a normal human doing a great job, and honestly I don't care how she treats me, I'm here for my dog not myself. I know my dogs will always be well taken care of at Pauly's. read more

My cat Elliott was groomed at Pauly's Paw Spa yesterday. At first we were nervous about how he'd react but he was so much better in the car ride home than the was on the way there. He was just glad to be on the way home and he loved his new haircut. Once he got home he was playing and running and having a great time.( The only downside was our other cat doesn't recognize him and won't stop hissing at him, but she will figure it out in a few days.) He seems happier, more playful and he seems to be exercising a bit more. I feel like it has increased his confidence. He is much more affectionate now and loves being pet. Every now and then he is startled by his belly or back touching something that he wasn't used to feeling so closely but you can just tell he feels fabulous! Pauly's has excellent prices too! It's a small calm place,no yapping noisy other dogs in kennels waiting.There was only one dog being groomed when I dropped off my Dog and it only took 2 hours for her to get done. Other places keep her for 5-6 hours heated that.I was very happy with the grooming job.Can't wait for the regular opening cause my pup needs a clean up bad. read more

I've always been someone who home-grooms my dogs, but having just dealt with a very stressful and unplanned move i needed my 3 year old GSD groomed in the worst way. I was NOT up to the task, however. The only groomer I considered was Tiffanie at Pauly's Paw Spa. I knew of her as a great lover of animals when she hired me for some dog training. I researched her grooming company from Facebook reviews. I made the best possible choice! My dog not only looked gorgeous and clean but smelled like a freshly bathed dog for two weeks! Business is not setup to properly run dog daycare services. Not enough staff on hand or experience to handle the dogs. Owner is extremely rude, very cold, lacks customer services skills and doesn't really want your business. Daycare is at the owners whim and they will cancel your appointment if they don't have other big dogs signed up. On multiple occasions we have to asked to have the dogs nails trimmed and while she spent 6 hours at the daycare, they could never find the time to trim nails over multiple visits. Owner will not let her staff handle the setting up appointments or answer questions and they never answer the phone. If you are looking for a reliable place with integrity and friendly staff, this is not the place for you to do business. read more

She is a good groomer and the place is nice which is why I've given two stars when I really only want to give 1. Only writing this review to warn others with pets who have grooming anxiety/issues with certain areas. Be prepared for this groomer to drop your pet as a client if you do one thing wrong or do not inform them of everything you do different in regards to meds, if they are needed and at the advice of your vet and when you had no way of knowing the new meds wouldn't sedate your dog. I find this disheartening and definitely questionable from a groomer whom specializes in pets whom have various grooming issues and claim they want the best for your animals. Admitting you made a mistake that same day in not notifying them and then be told we made the decision to not groom them anymore can make people potentially think why even be honest at all. Especially when you've followed all the advice and suggestions that they have given you up to that point as well as you had never done anything in the past nor has your pet. To me this is the behavior of a groomer who doesn't want to bother not one who has their best interest in mind. . I could understand this treatment if my dog was vicious, a biter or a big dog however he is not. Ultimately all this over a small 13lb dog wasn't sedated enough and absolutely hates/refuses to have his face and feet done. Seems like they could have not groomed him and charged us for the time slot as a reprimand, which I would have had absolutely no issues paying as well as a bigger tip for the hassle. read more

I have two dogs that i took in for a complete makeover. I was initially pleased with the customer service, however when i picked them up and got them home i noticed that one of their cuts was very inconsistent, i called and talked to the owner, she wanted to charge me to fix the cut??? WTF? She was very short and accused me to not telling her how short to cut his hair. This is by far the worst grooming experience i have ever had, i will not go back nor refer this business to anyone. read more

This place is amazing with both cats and dogs! This is the only place I will take my cat to. I just got a new reacue dog and I can honestly say this is the best my dogs fur has ever felt and smelled. Albeit he was found as a malnurished stray eating garbage in the desert climate of Arizona. Still he has come a long way and she works wonders with his coat! I have been using Pauly's Paw Spa for over a year now for our 3 dogs and I highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a groomer. One of my dogs is a real skidish little guy, Percy. Everything easily upsets him and they take extra effort to make his nail trims a positive experience for him. I also have a labradoodle that needs full body trimming every couple of months and she has never been this happy with her grooming experience. Prices are ok for what you get before they were raised to finance new location and doggie daycare. Scheduling is a big hassle and Tiffany is not flexible and does not seem to care about her older regulars. I would not recommend this salon unless you live close by the new location. read more

I took my dog in to get his nails trimmed. He is one of those dogs that doesn't like his feet touched so they have me bring him in on Tuesdays for their sedated dog day. He did o.k. for three visits and yesterday not so well. The girl came out and said you will need to take your dog to the Vet you were taking him before. It took 3 girls to hold him, he jumped off the table and one of the girls was so close when he flinched he bumped her head.From a groomer with such a High rating I expected more. They should have noticed he wasn't feeling it, not feeling well and suggested to try again at another time. But No! Tell me to Not bring him back and take him back to the Vet. Your wish is granted and I will take him there. They at least would try and if not working, suggest another day as I would EXPECT from someone who supposedly works with animals daily....... read more

Tiffanie has been grooming my dogs for 3 years now, and I am a loyal customer. I can not speak highly enough for how kind and patient she is with our pets. Many groom shops will accept pet after pet, and keep them running through the shop like an assembly line, which means that they end up sitting in a kennel stressing out for the majority of the 4+ hours you have to leave them there. Or, even worse, they use those horrible kennel dryers. That doesn't happen here. I now have two Shi Tzu, and they are both ready for pick-up 1.5 - 2 hours after I drop them off depending on if they are receiving full or partial grooms. They are put in a large pen together with toys, beds, and water if they are ever even put anywhere besides the grooming table. Once upon a time I was a store manager at one of the two Big Box pet stores here in Kitsap County, I understand first hand how hard it is to find a good groomer because I was always trying to hire one. I have also had to personally deliver heart breaking news to family's when things have gone wrong at the hands of groomers that were in our employ. Pauly's Paw Spa is doing it right. They are focused on the welfare of animals, and the relationship with their customers over profit. read more

Never again! She obviously doesn't know how to groom a standard poodle. She shaved her tail hair off completely, did not pluck the hair inside the ear, cut the fur on ears uneven as well as the rest of the body and nicked her belly. I was supposedly the first appt of the day but she was already working on 3 or 4 other dogs. She obviously rushed with my poodles groom. Tiffany's customer service skills are lacking as well. I felt like I was intruding both when I dropped my poodle off and picked her up. read more
