I'm from Florida and was responsible for ordering a cake for an engagement party. I placed the order on April 27, 2026, for pickup on Sunday, May 17. After weeks of planning--and even calling twice to confirm everything was on track--I was suddenly notified on Friday that my order was canceled because they have no decorators available. This is completely unacceptable. Not once during my follow-ups did anyone mention a potential issue. I'm now flying out tomorrow and scrambling to find a bakery that can accommodate a last-minute order for a Sunday morning event. This level of service is extremely disappointing and unreliable. Pavilions in Beverly Hills, huh? Not nice, and not upscale...and in the spirit of the city known for Plastic Surgery, this is in major need of a facelift and it is a small store. Mainly, it's old. Hard to get into parking lot. Can't go left, or make a U-turn, you only enter in heading West on Olympic. Little lot, but there is a small structure which is easy-peasy once you finally enter. *Why all the Negative Reviews* Happy Halloween Yes, it's not as large as other Pavillions & grocery stores. Yes, it's Beverly Hills. But that doesn't mean they're overpriced. The "Just For U" items are priced right and so are the "O Organics"...as well as their "everyday low price" items. There's weekly & digital discounts with added savings. ($5 Fridays too :) And they have a great app that's user-friendly. I've been shopping & coming here for over 25 years and will admit, I wasn't too thrilled when Ralph's up the street closed down last year. But this Pavillions did a great job remolding & restructuring the aisles, and all the changes made to the deli & bakery sections. I've never had a problem with the Managers, Maria & Mo (as others stated) and they're very nice & kind and have always gone out of their way to assist & accommodate me with minor issues or problems. There's always going to be something unsatisfactory at some point - no matter what business you're in...but it's what you do to satisfy your customers and to take the proper steps to insure the same mistakes don't persist. And I've grown to be very confident with the consistency of the entire team working at this store. And a special shout-out to Edgar - who's been working here for many years. The produce is usually good & fresh and everyone in this section is extremely helpful. The butcher department does the deed. But IMO the seafood dept lacks a bit in variety. But the sushi counter here is above standards for grocery stores and there's a very kind & hardworking gentleman who's always willing to make me & anyone something fresh that's not already stocked or on display. There's plenty of parking provided - 3 separate lots - one outdoors in front of store - one covered lot - one rooftop lot above the covered lot. My only complaint about this store is no matter how times I've suggested particular items that every other grocery stores carry, I'm given either an excuse why they don't or they take down the info and say they'll "pass it on to the person in charge." Yet nothing ever happens. And I'm talking about something as simple & basic as "unsalted potato chips & unsalted corn tortilla chips" and this has been going on for 3 years. It really shouldn't be that difficult because every other grocery store carries them and Pavillions keeps losing lots of our business because when I go to other grocery stores for items Pavillions doesn't have or neglect to carry/stock, I'll simply shop more at all their competitors. Security guard stocks me every time I am there. He always puts his eyes on me. Makes it very uncomfortable to shop around.

It's alright. Not a bad store but I'm not gonna come here. The place is very clean but it's more expensive than Whole Foods and that's already good enough reason for me to pick Whole Foods over this location. What really bothered me is that the way items are arranged around the store doen't seem to make sense at all. You get different Cheeses located all over the place, that were stuffed in any coolers that had available room. Then you have to walk across the entire store to yogurts. Then again walk across the store to another part of it to grab various dips, hummus, etc. I felt very lost and spent way too much time here than I wanted to. read more

This is a small Pavillions with very busy parking. A bit hectic. But the selection is definitely good. Pavilions has a very good selection of warm ready to serve food. Including chicken wings, BBQ chicken and home fries. They also have a Friday special on the chicken that is impossible to beat. read more

I was in a hurry to go to the Airport this morning, purchased 3 bouquets of flowers at BH Pavilions. Limited selection, poor quality. Some flowers were not available by 9 am, as two hours after opening they weren't yet unpacked. Sales girl was very rude and unprofessional. What a horrible place to shop! This Pavilions has a couple of unprofessional and discourteous people working here. The security guard on call the evening of May 1st 2023 along with another employee named Vito were disrespectful to say the least. I walk into the store and gave the security guard a friendly nod. He then calls another employee named "Vito" over to have a look at me. I see the two men gossiping in private while giggling like school girls. I proceed to the restroom for a bathroom break before deciding on what items I would like to purchase. Once I am done with the restroom I walk down the isle only to notice the security guard looking at me while he mocks the friendly nod I gave him earlier. All the while Vito, standing at the bagging station, giggles away enjoying this disrespectful antic. Mocking a customer that just walked in and giggling about it like petulant children is hardly what I would call professional. I found this store experience to be appalling, especially since it is located in Beverly Hills. Also, if you ever wondered why the restroom in this place is filthy as it is, you can thank that fat slob of security guard for making a mess of it for everyone else. It's no wonder that this place gets 2 1/2 stars out of 5. This place has been failing on a daily basis for years now. Today, however, it managed to top that record of rudeness and incompetence. The manager, who did not care enough to protect herself and others by wearing gloves, complained to us that we used clear plastic bags to add an additional layer of protection ; saying that everyone touches the products anyway -- so I guess we may as well do away with social distancing, the face masks and all the rest of the precautions. She complained that she will have to press the scanner gun TWICE! when I disagreed and said that pressing twice would not be necessary, and even if she has to press twice, that would not be the worst thing ever, she told me to "just be quiet", the audacity! Just because you are a manager of this hole in the wall, doesn't give you the right to speak to regular customers this way. Naturally, I wasn't "quiet", so she called the security told us to leave. My wife started documenting this via photos and video, at which point the manager who was full of authority a minute ago, ran and hid behind a barrier. Needless to say, I will take my thousands of dollars in shopping to the local Whole Foods or Ralphs and send this to the the Pavillions corporate office, photos and video included. read more

The Store manager 'Maria' is a hypocrite and should be retrained in customer service. I went to shop at Pavilions in Beverly Hills and grabbed 3 items. The lines were very long with only two cashiers open (about 7pm). I then went into the self check out line and proceeded to ring myself out, only to find that liquor purchases cannot ring out at a self-check out line. Ok, not a problem. Some stores like Ralphs also flag liquor purchases but have the store manager or clerk come over and access a code to ring the liquor purchase through. In fact Pavilions use to do that very same thing. So two of my three items went went through but the liquor was flagged. "Oh sir, we used to use our over ride and allow for liquor purchases in self-check but not anymore." Yes, you all used to do that..."yes, but not anymore, you have to ring liquor purchases in the regular check out lines. Im sorry" says Maria. Hmmmm, bummer but ok. I then go back into one of the long lines, behind a guy holding a coke bottle and bottle of Seagrams Seven in the other hand. Because of the long lines Maria does a wonderful gesture and waves Seagram Seven bottle guy over to her private check out help reduce line waiting... what, what, what... So I look at this eye popping moment, just having left interacting with Maria how she could NOT ring up liquor purchases and confusion sets in because I know. Seagrams Seven ain't kool-aid in a bottle. The man (White and all smiles) gets his purchase rang up with a 'have a nice day' from Maria. Man walks out the store I (black and confused) go back directly to Maria. ?????????????????????????????????? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Maria's explanation was that the guy was line...what? We were all line Maria, nobody skipped the line. Self-check out is an option (if you want to self-check out). I opted to self-check. But reminded that liquor was not a self-check item...introducing 'selective Maria'. I had Maria if she could ring up my liquor item 45 seconds earlier, she had said under no circumstances could she do this. I dont want to jump to conclusions folks by which seemed quite obvious to me and others watching the matter, including the security guard who happened to witness the entire event, was amazed at Maria's actions, shaking his head at me. I voiced my disdainment over this matter directly to Maria. I did not turn up my volume, cuss, call her out of her name, threaten, intimidate, or play a 'race card' moment. "If you don't talk nice to me Im not going to help you" - Maria A little something about me?...Not doing any of the aforementioned WAS BEING NICE. It took everything in me to leave the items on the counter there, turn, and walk away. And thats what I did, after all, this is Beverly Hills. I just have to give a shout out to Jeanette who's been there forever and truly a blessing to this store, the community and she blessed me today. I went to pick up a few items my husband who's quite ill, put the grocery bag in my car and left - accidentally leaving my purse in the grocery cart/basket in the parking lot! Never done that in my life. I even got home and realized what I had done, circled back and thankfully Jeanette had retreived it and lovingly put me as ease as I ran in with sheer panic on my face. Wow, they need to talk to their employees about customer service. The cashier, Alina, is extremely unfriendly. I said hello to her when she started scanning my items and she didn't look up or say anything. She never did, the whole time. I thought maybe she didn't hear me, so when we were finished I looked right at her and smiled and said thank you and she just ignored me. Her manager walked up and asked if she had taken her break and she responded to him, so she is able to hear and respond to people. It was just a really strange and unwelcoming environment. read more

Today around 11am ish my friend and I went to the deli to get some sandwiches for lunch before heading to a museum. We stood there and the women seemed to just stand there looking at us and I thought maybe there were helping someone. Finally a woman behind the counter asked us what we wanted. So I my friend asked for turkey and cheese. She walked away and we didn't know who was working the deli. So a 1/4 lb of some kind of meat was put down and then a woman asked me what I wanted. We were waiting for 15 mins I said ham and Swiss cheese. She came back with sliced meat and another thing of cheese. I said I just wanted a sandwich not a separate of 1/2 lb. We just decided to walk out. I have no idea who the manager is there but it takes a 2-3 mins for a sandwich. Scanner error! So slick, so quick it didn't register until I unpacked my groceries. Grrrr! Now I'd have to return, the last thing I wanted to do on my only day off. I shoulda checked the bill in store. I paced. I fumed. I called (a few cleansing breaths later). Explained being overcharged and was told to bring my receipt in anytime for a refund. Anytime? Really? Yeah, right! While I power walked over today, kicking myself for not getting the name of the person I talked to on Sunday, expecting not to be believed, I rehearsed my speech: I'll Never Shop Here Again! Then, for emphasis, I'd crush my plastic rewards card with my bare hands. Customer service desk was unstaffed but a manager running the express lane acknowledged me, listened, apologized for the inconvenience and issued my refund. Way to do business! Kudos Pavilions. I was on self checkout and forgot to grab an item so my sister went to get it for me as I obviously waited on the register to make one transaction because I'm not going to make two. I wasn't holding up a line or anything of that sort. I didn't catch the name of the older Asian lady standing right next to self check out but both her and the security guard made me feel uncomfortable. She has her eyes locked on me and tells me "you can continue scanning" there was nothing left for me to scan as I said I was waiting for a final item. So I turn and tell her I'm waiting for my item at this point she's still just staring at me and so is the security standing behind me. I would like to know how to get in contact with corporate before I drop a video on my titktok and IG detailing how the security guards are always instructed to follow me whenever I enter the store. For the past 2 years, everytime I go to this pavilions, I am followed by security throughout the store and even by the checkout. Once I checkout they walk away but they watch me closely until then, it's so disrespectful. When I first moved to this area of Beverly hills, the manager got upset when he saw me wearing clothing and a necklace that identified me as a Jew. He expressed disbelief that I was Jewish because I am black. I went on my business shopping, ignoring his behavior, but ever since then, this man instruts his security to follow me. This is extreme anti-black racism, and I am sick of it. This store is generally pretty good. It's small, but usually there are enough checkers that I don't have to stand in line for a long time. For a while, they kept all of the sanitized carts inside of the store. Because it is small, there's not a huge variety of items, and because of the location, the prices are higher than other local stores. I have only once or twice done my big shopping at this store, but if I need a few items, this is my go-to. read more

I would give this a 0 star rating if I could. Worst grocery store in all of la-- also one of the only grocery stores in the Beverly Hills flats for locals it's a shame it sucks so bad. It was after hours so I did not have to pay the meter. The store is clean and organized. The outside of the store smells a bit of urine which I am guessing is from the homeless people ( such a plight all throughout our nation). The Pavillions store in Beverly Hills is literally, and pardon my street slang, the most "ghetto" "Pavillions" I've ever been to. It should be a Vons. The customer service is atrocious. And the irony is that it's in Beverly Hills! This is not a recent thing either, it has been going on for several years. I live closer to the Pavillions in West Hollywood off of Robertson which is absolutely amazing and has the best customer service and the nicest checkout people. Sometimes if I'm in Beverly Hills I stop at this Pavillions on Olympic and Beverly Drive. It's nothing like the nearby Pavillions stores. First of all they don't have that much variety and stock in the store compared to other Pavillions stores, so if you're looking for something in particular I would recommend a larger store. Secondly the checkout people are occasionally really odd and sometimes angry. I realize how valuable check-out workers are, especially during the height of Covid-19 before vaccines when they were working long hours in conditions that weren't optimal and unsafe. But the pandemic has really slowed down now and there's no excuse anymore to be rude and yell at customers. I don't know if it's because of the management or maybe because of the stress of more demanding Beverly Hills customers, but the vibe is just off and almost always really strange at this store. Tonight around 8pm at this store I bought about $60 worth of groceries (at least 2 bags worth) and I asked for "bags please" when I started unloading them. Then when the groceries were paid for and I realized no one was bagging them, I grabbed the bag that was laying ON TOP OF THE GROCERIES and started to pack it by myself. No one else, including the cashier, was doing it. I'm happy to try by myself, that's how you do it in Europe. I had barely put one item in the bag when the man at checkout yelled at me "I didn't charge you for NO bags, you said no bags!" I replied, "I did ask for bags and how am I going to carry all of this out if I don't have bags?" It was obvious I didn't have my own bags with me. I felt really uncomfortable. At that point the woman who was supposed to be bagging groceries and was standing nearby got off of her phone and walked over and said "I'll bag them for you" and the man behind me in line kindly offered to pay for my bags in order to deflate the angry checkout person! Of course I'm happy to pay for my bags, it's only about 20 cents. I live here and am aware of the bag tax. But it made for drama and such stress with the checkout man yelling at me like I'm a thief trying to steal a 10 cent bag when I had asked for bags to begin with. I had not even looked at the receipt yet, he hadn't given it to me. Anyway I'm not going to go back to this grocery store and there's really no need because the Pavillions in West Hollywood on Robertson is so amazing and also the one on Vine in Hollywood is also really nice. This particular store just always has issues and I don't know what causes them. It is in Beverly Hills where most stores pride themselves on good service. I'm usually at the West Hollywood store and I spend at least 1k a month on groceries from Pavillions. This location should be an absolute embarrassment to the company, although it's clear they don't care based on these reviews. The thing I cannot understand is why I see it full most of the time, and I can only assume it's because people are too lazy to drive five minutes down the street to Ralph's. That, or they just have to say they shop in "Beverly Hills". It's true, I shopped here for a year and a half because of the close proximity to my new home. However, because things reached a boiling point for me several weeks ago, I am thrilled to drive just a few minutes out of my way. I probably shopped there, on average, once every week. I would say that I had a pleasant checker 3-4 times out of the approx. 75 times I shopped there. No "hello, how are you today?". Not even simply a "hello". Nothing. The store is small, so the selection is not the best. Okay, I can live with that, but everyone is so surly and borderline rude in this place I hated going in every. single. time. One day I complained to a "manager" because the line went all the way back to THE END OF THE ISLE (and, no, I'm not exaggerating), and she say it's because employees just don't ever show up for work. Huh?! I find this odd because I've been to three Ralph's, two Trader Joe's, two Whole Foods and a Bristol Farm's and haven't seen this problem. Several weeks later I notice they have removed several check-stands and replaced them with SELF CHECK-OUT STATIONS. That's terrific. Let's see if we can think of a way to provide even more impersonal service and make the lines even longer since NO ONE likes self check-out so they wait in line anyhow, and the best part is...they have staff manning the self check-out lines!! Yep, that's right. Here is the kicker!... During the same visit, I ask a "manager" if there is someone who might assist me in locating an item. He grabs a store schematic flyer and shoves it in my face. Admittedly, I had now had more than enough. I responded by saying that finding the isle was not rock science, I knew where the isle was, I just needed help locating a specific item (there is literally no staff to assist you. EVER), to which he replies "if it's not rock science, why can't you find it?". We have an exchange and I swear on my mother's life he says "f*ck you" to me. That ACTUALLY happened. I swore that day I would never step foot in that place again and I haven't. Ralph's-TWICE the inventory, the checkers are friendly, and the security guard even walked me to my car (and before you take note of that, they also have a security guard at Pavillion). This is FIVE minutes most from Pavillion. So, if you are so snotty that you'd rather say you shopped in Beverly Hills than get what 600.00+ month should buy you in service, or too lazy to drive a minute and give your hard earned money to an establishment that deserves it, then go right ahead. But Pavillion is disgusting for allowing this to continue. Same reasons I left CVS for Rite Aid. Complacency and taking customers for granted when people actually have a CHOICE. The store is super cramped and parking is a nightmare on the lower lot, so make sure you park up top if you want to avoid frustrations. The most annoying part about this place is the lack of open cashiers and the slow movement of the lines.
