Jennifer walks around like she doesn't even work there. There is a short, small middle aged woman who has been there for many years who always has her hair up and she NEVER smiles. I was trying to be super friendly this morning and she was crabby as all get out. If this store wasn't down the street from where I live I would never go and already have cut way back on my spending at this Vons/Pavilions. Instead I spend the bulk of my grocery dollars at Ralphs in Redondo where almost everyone is nice and cordial. This place would have to jump high to reach substandard. Stay away.

They're open super early and stay open late, and it's just such a gem especially since that area tends to shift toward restaurants or other businesses. This neighborhood really needed a good grocery store, and they have everything: fresh meat, drinks, snacks, fruits just like a full local grocery. The staff was really nice and laid-back, though the only downside is that parking is super limited and intersection it's tough to get in and out since it's near a small with a red light. Still, I'm really glad it's there, and I want to give a big shout-out to the local folks to support this place. The prices are really reasonable, and we need to keep these local businesses thriving. they're the heart of the community. I gave them five stars. I just hope they can clean it up a bit inside, maybe freshen up the shelves or ceiling. But overall, I'm so happy it's here, and we need more of these places in our city.

I didn't have to circle the parking lot for a space or squeeze into one meant for a tiny car. Carts were packed full and easily accessible. Shelves stocked full, bakery packed with colorful sweets likely to satisfy anyone's palate and a deli, complete with pre-made packaged delights to make your meal prep easy peasy. He used his hand held radio to inquire with another worker and confirmed that they were out of stock. The other worker came over and reconfirmed that they were out. While I was disappointed that I couldn't purchase the flavors that I wanted, I did find some others to buy and appreciated the customer service from the 2 employees.
