this office is very badly run. The staff has obviously not received any training in professional treatment of patients or the proper manner of professional telephone services . they obviously need a professional office manager and better training. it is now 5pm and their website states that they are open until 5pm but they have not been answering the phones since 4:20pm and any calls are now being forwarded to the answering service. Fast friendly service. Senior accessible, walkers welcome. Grandma had a Dr appt at the Pavilion Bldg. Parking always sucks here. Bring your parking ticket to the office and they will stamp the parking ticket for you. Parking elevators sometimes not working. I had to walk down from the 6th floor. We have been at this place since Dr Villa was here and we always felt the service, the empathy and the care was the best. Ever since Dr Villa left this place has been going downhill. The staff is careless and the management sucks. About a week ago under critical Circumstances the PA "forgot" to send a medicine to the pharmacy and when I ask what happened the secretary just hung up on me. Today I've been on hold 3 times for almost 20 minutes and I am still not able to get a hold of the doctor. I don't the medical doctors, nurses or PA's are responsible for the secretaries unprofessional attitude but today I left a message that if I don't get a response I will file a complaint with the medical Bar. I'm sorry but it sounds like the complaint will be the only way to get the doctors attention. Meantime looking for another facility to move all my family. Absolutely love Dr. Garcia. She cares about her patients and takes whatever amount of time necessary. However, it does cause them to get behind. Yes, you wait, but she's worth the wait for me. Office staff is very friendly and they work hard to get you into to see the doctor. If your doctor is booked they will put you with another one to get you seen. I used to come here many, many years ago, but I left because of the unprofessional staff. My mom, must to my disagreement, still comes here and has been seen by both Drs. Garcia and Latika. Both are awful doctors and should be avoided at all cost. Dr. Garcia doesn't even bother to touch you in a physical and Dr. Latika likes seeing her patients 3 times a week just to get results. If you want to be waiting an hour or more on the phone or waiting to be seen, this is the place for you. Screw this place. read more

Good luck coming here, I know I won't ever again. I had a 3 o'clock appointment and wasn't seen till close to 4pm. I was a new patient so I had to be early to fill out paperwork and I was there at 2:45. Took me into the room at 3:20 and Dr. Lakita walked in at 4. She didn't apologize for being late or provide me an explanation on why she took so long to see me. She gave a 2 minute consultation were she said she THINKS I have bronchitis. There is no reason you need to wait an hour to be seen with an appointment - UNEXCUSABLE!! TIME AND TIME AGAIN! I have been coming here for 4 years. I avoid doctors' visits because of the poor experience that I will have for sure. They never disappoint either. From the moment you call, it's a menu of 6 doctors. I've had experiences where they don't pick up and I leave a message but they never get back. Then it's useless to leave a message! Try back again and you might be on hold for 15+minutes if its on a Monday. Once someone picks up, they'll put you on hold a few times. For check ins, there are charts for each Doctor's patients and the staff behind the counter can either be on point or make you wait 10 minutes before taking your copay. I don't understand why if you have an appointment at 9:45 the nurse doesn't come in for you until 10:17??? Then there is always another patient or 2 that the doctor will be seeing first! Now for the actual physician care. They don't review your charts and even when you provide vital information, they choose to skip 30 seconds to read it and ask obsolete questions instead. Last year when I was pregnant, I came in for a shot that my son's preschool was requesting, I tell them I'm pregnant and still tell me "well you are going to need an X-ray" for that. Hello! Seriously I'm 9 months pregnant! Writing this review still upsets me So today, I'm sick with a very mean sore throat & cough but the doctor has to see me. I waited over an hour before I was seen by Dr. Garcia. She is nice but the 3-4 minutes of rushed care doesnt cut it. So come in if you want to: -Have a hard time getting them on the phone. -Have a harder time being seen within a day or 2 ("you can go to ER" I was told; come on for a sore throat ?!) -Be in the waiting area 30 minutes after your appt -Be waiting inside the patient room for another 30-45 minutes -Be upset with a doctor that doesn't ask the right questions and like yes I'm nursing and that will definetly cut my milk supply! Also, they don't have a triage or a nurse to call you back. I have a PPO plan but they would still not let me make an appt with any other doctor in house. That is just wrong. The staff doesn't know that you can do that with that medical plan or they just monopolize their patients here. read more

I came here to see Dr. Garcia for my annual physical and she was great. She made me feel very comfortable & actually cares about my health. But too many problems with the staff. First, it took 2 months to even see the Dr. When I called to set up the appt. the first available date was 2 months from then. The waiting also sucked...but that goes along with every doctors office I guess. Then the staff expected me to already know that when I get my blood taken at the lab, I should not eat past midnight the day before...I already knew that and I even double checked with them before leaving. And when they were noting what tests they were going to run on my blood, they had me call my insurance to find out if something was covered...when they are who are supposed to do that. The last straw was trying to set up my annual physical for next year. My employer has a new requirement that I need to get my physical done before a certain month in the new year, & since I saw the Dr. months into last year, they will only set up an appt. for exactly a year from then...which is how it should be, but my insurance will cover my visit even if it's been less than a year since my last one, as long as it's once a year. BUT the staff had me double check with my insurance, then they wanted a call from them, and now they said they'll have to look into it! WHAT?!?!? I asked if they could let Dr. Garcia know what's going on & they wouldn't!!! So that's it...even though is like to come back for Dr. Garcia, I WILL NOT cuz of the hassle with the office. I am not familiar with the other doctors nor have I met or seen them. she treated me and my four-year-old daughter with respect from the second she walked into the room. the wait time is completely normal in any medical setting. When a doctor cares about their patient and chooses to answer their questions rather than push them out the door shows they care about their work. I have been seeing Dr. Bond for almost 5 years now, I adore him, he's a very caring, attentive and wonderful man. This is a 2 star review because of the office staff. I can understand the need to wait extended periods of time every once in a while, being that some patients need more than others. BUT being place on hold as soon as they answer the phone without even saying a word especially since I am just calling to get a prescription refill is ridiculous. Especially because every time I have been in their office the phones have been quiet. This last call is what prompted me to come here and write a review. I am on a pain medication that I use on a daily basis due to having a condition that can not be fixed by surgery or anything really, all I can do is some stretches that help very little. The pain is so bad that it hurts to walk along with sitting and standing. I have been on this medication for almost 2 years, the Dr has never had a problem refilling my prescription, yet recently since the person has changed in that department it has been like pulling teeth to get them to send the Dr a message for approval. This last call I was on hold for 25 minutes and on the phone for 35. I made a complaint to the supervisor about the girl on the phone who was rude and frankly didn't care. Now I receive a letter in the mail that I am not a patient for 30 days. Yes I was very upset, and I may have come across incredibly harsh, but this is still some type of service industry. This office staff has no bedside manor and they could care less about their patients. I am even more upset because I do not want to see any other Dr. But I may have to because of their disregard for respect and lack of helpfulness. read more

Really easy to get an appointment, even as a new patient, but I was very disappointed with my time there. They were running 45 minutes late for the first new patient appointment of the day, and once I was seen by Dr. Garcia, my heart just sank. Absolutely ridiculously rude staff and impossible to even get an appointment scheduled. If you actually need immediate care for a cold, you better have urgent care on speed dial because you won't get an appointment for at least a month. Dr. Garcia was an ok doctor, but literally I had to wait on average 1-2 hours to actually see her. Then, like that, she drops me as a patient after a couple years! For what reason? I have NO clue. They claimed they sent me two letters saying they were dropping me, never received either letter. Who drops patients that do not cause problems, keep appointments and are not rude? They open at 8 but their phone lines are not open until 9, they stop taking calls 30 minutes before lunch time which is 2 hours long, and answer 30 minutes after. When you ask the office about it, there's a nasty, unapologetic attitude, and simply brush you off by saying they do. I been seeing Dr: Villa for years and all the time I'm waiting over an hour to see him. I understand is a medical office but please let us know on the wait time. Today i called the office to schedule an appointment due to wheezing for 2 days & numbness on my right hand and I couldn't get in to see Dr: Villa till next week, seriously... God forbid I have Pneumonia or something serious and will end up in the hospital because my PCP can't see me today. I understand he's booked today the scheduler and the manager told me that as an office policy i can't see any other Doctor in the practice because that's what they all agreed on. It is unethical to do this. All they care is about their business, not the patient care. I work in a Medical office and any of our patients can see any provider in the practice regardless if they are PPO or HMO, our Mission is to Provide the Medical care our patients need. I mean, how can Dr: Villa be booked at 9:00 am, really... that means they don't leave room for same day sick appointments. I asked to speak with the manager and and the manager sad I can see another Doctor at different practice not at theirs, really... rude!!! I will make sure i report all this to my Insurance and I will find a Different Doctor's office that will care for my Health and not just their business. Not to forget the scheduler put me on hold 4 times to take other calls after me, really... She could of put the other calls on hold and finish with my call. This practice is all about the Doctor's agreements, the staff and making business. So if you don't mind the long wait, a sick appointment till next week, hard time to get someone on the line for an appointment and a careless manager, go see Pavillion Family Physicians. Dr: Villa is a good Doctor but the rest of the practice issues makes him look bad. I really don't recommend the Family Practice to anyone. Who knows what the elderly Patients go through. read more
