He devised a plan to preserve as much of the original pine walls as possible and integrated the new pieces beautifully. He identified the root of the problem - leaks at the chimney - and he had it sealed and patched fast. We then made a surprise discovery - our old log beam mantle had rotted through. We had no idea how we would find a piece of wood that would match the cabin and Jim worked magic. In two hours he found a gorgeous salvage mantle replacement - amazing. I can't recommend them more highly thoughtful, hard working and collaborative. He solved all of our problems and we plan to work with him as our go to crew from now on.
