We met family here for dinner. They chose the restaurant as it was close to their hotel. It is small inside, but they were very accommodating to our group. They even put linen table cloths on the tables for us. We ordered a couple pizzas, a few Caesar salads and one chicken dish. The pizzas were much better than expected -- thin and crispy with a good flavor. I'm not a fan of pepperoni, but even that pizza was good. We had very good service; the food came out fast and timely. And the prices were reasonable. They also do delivery and takeout. read more

Pizza with family tonight and this place did NOT disappoint! Great fast friendly service and lots on the menu to choose. Plenty of pasta, sandwiches, wings, and salads to select. We ordered a Cheese pizza, a Pepperoni pizza, Caesar salads and a Chicken Marsala with spaghetti dishes.Within short order salads were served and were followed by the pizzas. The pizzas had had a nice crunchy bite and the pasta dish was a generous portion.Our server was quite efficient and got all the orders correct! Bottom Line: Pizza is Subjective. This is my kind of pizza. The slices I had for lunch were thin. They had plenty of cheese and sauce. They had just the perfect crisp/crunch when you took that first bite. The crust didn't flop over yet it also wasn't an over cooked slab. That is hard to do with a slice that has a thin crust AND good topping coverage AND not being burnt on the bottom. The first bite made you stop and think "Dang, this is perfect", right before you devoured the rest! Like I said - Pizza is Subjective. I like a doughy crust. I think the problem I have with thin crust is that it is usually "overcooked" for MY personal preference. I had 2 slices to go. Process was quick. About $6 for the 2 slices. Guy by the cash register was less than thrilled to be there - but Hey - it made me feel like I was in NY. I don't usually write reviews if I've only visited a place once or if I don't have much to say....... But......When a basic cheese slice, no frills, is done right - it's worth noting! Ordered from here on accident. Apple Maps order option opened slice app and it must've went str8 to Pavoli, instead of the intended restaurant. I stuck with it because the prices are decent and the wings included the flavors that both my wife and I desired (Lemon pepper and Honey Garlic) On e good note, the food was ready when I got there and the lady inside acknowledged me. Thanks for the warm welcome. However, the wings were terrible as they were not flavored nor sauced at all. Wife said her lemon pepper tasted like they squeezed lemon juice on it, while my "honey garlic wings" had not honey, nor garlic flavor at all. It was very disappointing. Enough to cross this spot off our list. I hope this review encourages the leadership to explore different recipes or maybe even consider addressing their type of wings on the menu if it's not intended to be flavorful. The cheese lovers pizza. Get. It. Now. We were reading the reviews and stuck on getting or not getting it because the mix of cheeses just didn't sound tasty. So I suggested that we get the small in case we didn't like it we wouldn't waste too much food. The cheese is melty and salty. There's just enough sauce to balance all of it. We both looked at each other after the first bite and said "we should've gotten a large instead" The meatballs in the sub were a bit too meatloaf like for me. Being a frequent customer of Pavoli, I have to write this honest review to let their management know. I placed an order for chicken francese and chicken piccata. Every time up until now, I was able to order roasted potatoes and veggies for my side instead of pasta. I was told potatoes/veggies were no longer an option. Upon opening my food at home, my angel hair pasta was clumped together with no sauce and the pasta was very "starchy". My chicken piccata didn't have any capers, which is the main reason I got this particular dish. The chicken pieces were hard as a rock and tasted old. They also raised their menu prices which made it even more disappointing. read more

Horrible place. I used to go here years ago when it had different owners. Then the place was fantastic. I live near by so I try every year or so to see if they improve. After this time never again. I ordered online a cheese steak hoagie (lettuce, tomato,onion). I also asked for mayo to be put on. STAY AWAY!! Ordered online through GrubHub for a pick up. When went to pick up the food they said they never got the order. Showed them the order confirmation from online and they said it wasn't them. Showed them that it indicated their business with their address. It clearly had everything showing that it was them and they still said it was not them. They didn't even say let us get this cooking for you let's make it happen..., they could care less. So we left and went somewhere else to eat. This is more than once having problems with this new ownership. They're not gonna last and it's a shame. read more

I love pizza and this place is good. Basically he same place that was there but cleaner. This is a very limited review as I just took out a pie for dinner. The people are very nice and prices fair. I don't know if this is right but too much toppings? The flavor was very good but my only issue is it was just slightly soggy. I like a crisp crust and ordered it well done. They did exactly that but with all the toppings it was just too much. The outside crust was perfect. Overall 3 1/2 but since it tasted good I rounded up to four. I would and will return and try more. A VERY disappointing dining experience this evening with what used to be one of our favorite take out restaurants. We ordered dinner for 3, one Chicken Marsala, and 2 orders of Chicken Parmigiana at 6pm, through the "preferred" delivery service of the restaurant, "Slice". The text responses indicated that our order was received, and would be delivered by 7pm, at the absolute latest. By 7:15 still no food, so we called Slice, who called the shop and informed us that it was on the way, and should be at our door in 10-15 minutes (Odd, because we live less than 10 minutes from the restaurant). Lots of finger-pointing between Slice and Pavoli's, but bottom line: our food finally arrived at 8PM, 2 hours after our order was placed. And one of the dinners was missing from the order! Slice "promises" to credit us...not holding my breath. VERY DISAPPOINTING EXPERIENCE! read more

The chicken was very over cooked and the sauce was thin. I had to get a plastic spoon to eat any of the sauce. When the manager/owner came around asking if everything was OK, I mentioned the rubbery chicken. He didn't apologize at all and just said that it happens on Saturday's. Crazy. Lesson, don't eat there or order of a Saturday I guess. By the way, we were the only ones actually eating in the establishment. I work near Pavoli, so it's a convenient place for lunch. The new decor is nice, but the quality of the food has declined from the old owner. I have eaten here a few times since it was renamed, and get more disappointed each time. Today put me over the edge and prompted me to speak up. I walked in to order 2 slices of pizza. It took almost 20 minutes to receive my order, which is kind of ridiculous considering they had 3 full cheese pizzas in the display.
