I've been coming here for an ungodly amount of years now and I have got to say it is the best groomer I have been to. The reason I say this is I have a husky and she is wild. She is crazy and she does not like to be groomed or at least she didn't. Prior to coming here. Luna would snap and bite at any groomer that came near her and now she is the most well-behaved easy to groom dog and I love it. I'm not sure what magic Danielle performed on my dog but she looked absolutely gorgeous when I picked her up!!! I thought I was just dropping her for and quick wash and dry but when I picked her up she had gotten the Glow Up, the works! She was filthy dirty and hadn't had a bath for eons due to some circumstances (time and distance). She didn't get cut or anything really and her fur is so white and long and fluffy! Finding The Pets Choice has been a game changer! As a first time dog owner, I met WenDee and her team after enduring a series of bad to just okay groomers. My Korean Jindo is both protective and anxious and from my first visit WenDee and her staff patiently took the extra time needed to gauge his personality, assessing his reactions to different situations to make him comfortable. After meticulously bathing and drying him they even clip his nails which no other groomer had been able to do. He comes out looking fresh and smelling wonderful, and upon pickup report on how he did along with sharing any concerns. I'm very dissatisfied with today's grooming service. My dog was buzzed incorrectly, leaving an uneven and patchy cut that was not what I asked for. This is unacceptable for a paid professional service, and was seeking a resolution instead got a call from the manager/owner stating that I was at fault for not being clear and how I confirmed that I wanted the same service as the last, when the last visits had been baths and slight blows and trims around for teddy look! Her pointing everything at me got me frustrated and I did raise my tone and she hanged up twice! She stated that if I was looking for a refund she was not going to give it to me since service was rendered and cursed at me when I never used any bad words towards her I just wanted to be heard and understood and avoid happening again and a resolution as "hey listen we take full responsibility of the misunderstanding let me have you back for a free bath on us solves the problem! A client should be acknowledged and heard! I have referred people to her unaware there was a rewards program she throws it in my face that I have probably been getting rewarded which is not the case and never have expected to be rewarded! Everything went amazing at pets choice let me briefly explain my last choices or visits with Rocky. When he was 2 yrs old We tried to give him his first Lion cut. We told the groomer at Petco he's aggressive and please be careful ( but they're experts right?) she t started rubbing his belly which we warned her prior not to do. I dont know any cats that actually like that and he went nuts on her. While she was doing it I said I wouldn't do that ... she ended up getting scratched up and bit and black listed Rocky from every Petco. The vet we normally go to wanted to put him to sleep to give him a haircut and we were not comfortable with that idea. Another groomer recommended some pills prior to bringing him in , we considered it but again wasn't comfortable but they also wanted $600 like "what the heck " so me and wife have rocky baths and cut what we could for last 5 years but he needed a proper grooming. I saw Nikki at a target nearby she had a Chinchilla with her and I loved it and she told me how she worked at grooming place. She recommend Wendy at pets choice my wife called Wendy and told her what we told everyone else he's aggressive, been black listed from places and isn't really friendly. But he's our baby. They assured us they deal with these manners all the time and told us to bring him in. Me and wife were so nervous for their staff. He's great at home completely an angry lion outside of home. Dropped him off at pets choice at 8:30 this morning. Picked him up at 1:30. He's incredibly happy , looks beautiful and I can't believe that they were able to give my babe a lions cut without putting him to sleep , medicating him or hurting him. We absolutely so happy that we found out about Pets Choice my entire family was impressed because they know rocky is impossible to deal with and they did it. And they did it incredibly. So happy and not even close to the costs of what other groomers wanted. Recommend this location to everyone if you ever were looking or interested. Good luck keeping your scheduled appointment if you aren't a regular client, or if your dog weighs 28 pounds!! This is the 2nd time in a span of 2 weeks that my appointment has been changed or cancelled. The 1st time my appointment was changed, because they "accidentally double booked". ...so they offered an appointment the following week. Mistakes happen, that's fine. However, the night before my REscheduled morning grooming appointment, they call me at 6:45 pm, and left a voicemail stating that they can't accommodate my dog the next day, due to staffing. I tried calling them back but they didn't pick up. I then called them the next morning to beg them to groom my dog, since I took the day off from work and they also already had to cancel and reschedule my previous appointment due to THEIR mistake. The lady on the phone was rude and very short with her responses....kept saying we can't do it, without giving us alternative times. WHY couldn't they cancel another client that day or move them to another day....since this was the 2nd time they were cancelling on me? I get it...schedules change during the times we are currently living in, but at least give your client a decent time frame for a curiosity call. I am appalled by the lack of professionalism and customer service, when it comes to this establishment! read more

I take my Three Babies there, a 16y/o Chiweenie, a13 y/o Chihuahua Terrier mix and a 10 month old Xoloitzcuintli. She has been amazing with all three. Our children love love love going to Tia Wendees and all the fabulous Aunties. They also made friends with the regulars, who are now buddies. The best part, they come home EXHAUSTED!!!!!! LOL (KIdding/not kidding) They sleep like babies- Who wouldn't? They got their bath, moisturized (one is hairless), who also gets her nails did (The youngest sometimes gets color on. her nails-shed is a Mexican Hairless XOLO - and she's a princess) Never have they ever NOT WANTED to go (That is a sign to not take them to a certain place. If they're scared or crying when you get the car gear going- DO NOT TAKE THEM)- This has not been the case for us- They're all excited!!! Our 13 year old almost gives himself a heartattack spinning in circles because he is going there. When our 16 year old (going on 9) has is special treatments- It feels like Im seeing my baby puppy- which is important to me because he will be 17 soon but thanks to good eating habits and seeing Tia Wendee - He's super happy, healthy and loved. Highly recommend this place- your dog daughter or baby boys will be treated with the upmost professionalism and respect. As dog parents we are responsible for taking care of out babies (Im lucky I have a hairless and 2 short haired babies and they go every 2 weeks- If I had a standard Cocker or a baby with will long hair - She would be in there every week- maybe some braids, high pony - anything not to get her hair in dreadlock or matted- This place gets 5 stars - they genuinely love what they do and it shows on your babies, Especially when you are super busy, they will pamper your pooch, love them and if they need treatment for small things or ointments, hair falling out, hot spots shell get you started and give you some natural home remedies. I could never say enough good things about Wendee. She truly loves animals and takes care of them as if they are her own. My pupper was a bit of a handful due to his previous (crappy) owners but she always took the time to make sure that he was comfortable and at ease while grooming him. I would get compliments on my schnauzer every time I took him out. She is a wealth of knowledge and was integral at helping me train him. She would talk me down from my new dog owner freak outs and was critical in helping me learn how to communicate with my pup. I took my two dogs, Spanky and Alfalfa to this groomer for the very first time. They were originally scared but one of the groomers picked them both up and their tails started to wag.
