We just had the first day of sitting, and I got emails after every visit with pictures, a list of what was done, and a written summary. It's so nice to have the freedom to leave the house guilt-free, because I trust WPPC to take care of my babies for me. The price is also a great value for the high quality service. We use their doggie day care 1-3x week and have also used for minor grooming like baths and nail trims. We also get our pet food from them along with a number of toys and treats. Today, I went to have my puppy's nails trimmed after calling to confirm there was someone there to trim them. Once I arrived, I was told a mask is manditory, which I have abandoned and have none with me, but no one told me this when I called. And, there were no customers in the store. Then I was instructed to wait outside until her nails were done but there were no chairs to sit in to wait. While I was walking to the door to wait outside, my puppy escaped from her collar and ran to me, probably thinking I was leaving her. The staff restraining her became frantic and hollered at me to catch her. This only aggitated my puppy more and they had to drag her off with two leashes. I drive out of my way to support this business but they are too busy with other distractions to care professionally for their customers and dogs. If they require masks that no one else in the area requires, then they should alert customers in advance, manage situations, and provide a comfortable waiting area or masks for those without.

My cats had no problems getting settled on their first day, but one of my cats decided that she wasn't too fond of playtime and became stressed, sitting atop their condos and not allowing the staff to get her down. While this was happening, I was on a plane and had no access to my phone. The staff tried to calm my cat down and try to get her back in her condo. Unfortunately, she was stressed and didn't take kindly to being boarded even after being boarded before. The staff kept in constant contact with me, letting me know how my precious cat was doing and if she had come down. In the end, we had to have the cats picked up by their emergency contact and had to cut their stay short. With that being said, the care Miss Emily's staff had toward my cats (even while one was hissing up a storm) made me want to write this review, knowing that your pets are in good hands, even when things don't go according to plan. I would recommend Miss Emily's to anyone who needs to board their pet in Orlando, dog or cat, as they truly have your pet's needs in mind.

In Miami I had a trusted caretaker, but here I knew no one. I asked at Woof on Edgewater and one of the numbers they gave me was for Cuddles. There were a couple more, but after making the first call to them and having a long conversation with Phil, I knew they were my kind of people! I didn't have to look any further. They have been running this business for years and their love for animals is palpable. Not only are they amazing with my pets (my somewhat skittish cat had NO problem hanging out while we talked), but they are incredibly professional in how they run their business. I can't even begin to sing their praises, Marejane and Phil are the BEST! Warm, loving to our pets, professional and sweet, you can't ask for more. We left Coco and Uriko under their care for a week and my pets love for them was quite apparent when my cat Uriko ignored me completely to love up on Marejane. Working for Sitters on Park has given me the opportunity as a student to have consistent employment…read morethat works with my class schedule which changes throughout the year.  Megan has been a delight to work for and has found me wonderful families to work with.  For someone who is a caregiver, either for children or pets, it can be hard to find steady work when we're relying on word of mouth and/or care.com, the latter of which is highly competitive.  Sitters on Park finds the clients for you, and you are alerted when a job becomes available and can check if this fits with your schedule.  As I said, this flexibility has helped me a lot as student and I recommend this job to anyone who has experience in caregiving and would like to have a flexible schedule so they can also have this opportunity. Also, I have to add that I appreciate that the families we work for have to submit a background check as well as the sitters, as this gives us protection. Care does not have this policy and I know it has sometimes been a problem for some sitters.
