The girl on the phone was extremely rude and short tempered, basically accused me of lying and said either keep Wednesday or cancel and didn't ever apologize or seem concerned about loss of business, time, etc. if you don't value my business, then you won't get my business. This is why phone etiquette is important, because my dog and I always enjoyed going here before this situation was handled so poorly. I'd rather pay more to be treated respectfully (not that they were inexpensive by any means).

Arrived at 8:55 (5 minutes prior to my 9:00 appointment). I noticed two employees standing outside…read moretalking. I sat in my car and waited because another customer was walking her dog in. Closer to 9:00, I walked in and was told by the front desk girl (that was previously outside) that my groomer just called in. She asked another groomer if they could work my dog in but I was told he would be there for a good part of the day so I declined. I asked why no one called me when my groomer called in and she said, "because it just happened". Weird since it was right at the time of my dog's appointment. I was then offered another appointment for a day the following week but explained I took a personal day off and drove 30 minutes from home for today's appointment. Definitely won't be returning.

I have 2 Great Pyrenees who had never been professionally groomed before and she was so good and patient with both of them during the entire process. She went above and beyond with them, and me, making sure they were comfortable and I was happy with their groom and the experience itself. My girls truly needed a deep deshedding and she did a great job and took the time she needed to make sure it was done right. I highly recommend her and she has a customer for life!

He surprisingly went into the van with no issues. 50 minutes later we had a beautiful smelling, handsome looking good boy all ready to come back inside our home. I am shocked at how great a job they did with him in such a quick amount of time! He didn't seem too stressed and also wasn't reeking of cologne. The prices are pretty high, but for the convenience, time and stress saved (for us and our pup), it's well worth it!

News to me because he's had baths at multiple Lucy's locations many times and regularly. They explained they were letting him air dry. Air dry a GSD? Now he smells like wet dog. When I picked him up at 12:50 no bandanna or cologne. Not the first time they missed that. Makes you wonder if all the services were performed when you pay $150. Manager attempted to interject but kept interrupting me. At that point, I was checked out. He stated he would inquire and call. No attempt to fix it right then. It's been two and a half hours and still no call. I'll drive a bit further to the 1604 location or look for another dog bather.

They offer full days and half days too. They have little pools for the dogs to walk in, trees everywhere and lots of shade for the Summer months. They have live cameras (accessible through the web site) in all areas to watch your kids throughout the day. They ensure all vaccinations are current so your dog will be safe and complete temperament tests before your dog interacts with the pack. My boy was recently adopted from the Animal Defense League and he was so scared. I am sure he never experienced Doggy daycare before. They were patient with him and loved on him as if he was their own. When he got really nervous they separated him and gave him some space. He is now a regular several times a week. They have great financial packages, offer tons of services and soon they will opening the area to wash your own doggies. They also offer free day care if you have a primary dog and foster another and they are dropped off together. How amazing is that!!!!!! Ten stars goes to Lucy's.
