We had a very high maintenance situation: my toy poodle is a senior currently having health struggles, we needed a time after my workday, and we needed a time ASAP because my dog hadn't been groomed in forever (due to health issues) and was having trouble getting around. I was pretty sure every groomer I contacted was just gonna roll their eyes at me. But Mariely was AMAZING. She went through her planner to find a day we could make it work despite my crazy schedule. She was also so kind to Byrd, making sure she could lie down and rest the whole time and that her comfort was prioritized over anything else. The whole groom took under 2 hours, which was perfect because Byrd gets so nervous. Her sweet son was with her and when I came down to pick Byrd up, I looked in and saw that she was shaking with fear while getting her nails trimmed (very normal for her, she's anxious) and he reached over and held onto her little body to comfort her while his mom worked. He then got down on eye level to get her attention while his mom finished trimming, helping her grab the tools she needed so she could stay with Byrd. We were very happy with our visit to Pawadise Dog Grooming. We have a large cat with very long fur and our regular mobile cat groomer moved to Maine. Our cat REALLY needed a grooming and we could not find a mobile groomer and so decided to try Pawadise. It was a revelation! Normally our cat screams the entire time she is in the car, but even on the way home she was quiet. Sarah was truly magic! As soon as she unzipped the carrier, the cat was calm and in 30 minutes her claws were trimmed, she was clean and even had a flea bath (she had been scratching, but we didn't see any fleas so we tried to ignore it). When Sarah put her back in her carrier after her grooming she remained calm and has been such a happy cat since. I totally recommend Sarah--if she can calm a cat, she must charm all the dogs. read more

Have to start by saying I was a bit apprehensive to have our senior baby groomed since we've always done it ourselves. During winter months we would take her to a spot where we would pay to wash her in one of the tubs so that she wouldn't be cold, as we usually wash her outside. But now since she has had knee surgery, and her other knee isn't doing well either, add to that arthritis, she's a bit more frail and should not be climbing up into bathtubs. Did I mention that she's also not comfortable with being lifted up, since she's an English lab weighing in at about 115 pounds. So here I message Mariely, asking her all these questions to see if they have a way to put her into the tub without her having to climb big steps or lift her up. I know, I know, sounds crazy. But she's quick to respond back and explain to me step-by-step how they have a table that they'll put her on and then lift the table to get her in the tub! She reassured me they would be gentle with her and they could even bathe her laying down if they needed to. I signed up quick for her next availability. She was there right on time, and the vehicle is absolutely beautiful and super well equipped. My baby girl absolutely loved her, and she came out looking, smelling, and feeling absolutely beautiful, clean and so happy. I also appreciated how Mariely let me know about a couple of dry patches that she saw, and even informed me about a bit of discharge my dog had. Another thing, our girl has black nails, and I was so nervous about her nails being trimmed. She has rarely needed her nails trimmed, but since she can't go on long walks anymore, they were very long. Absolutely amazing grooming by Sarah! Originally, I reached out to Pawadise Grooming because I was looking for a groomer who could take my adopted GSD who knew how to groom shy, fearful dogs. This was absolutely fabulous and the dogs loved Mariely! She was great with her communication regarding the appointment and confirming it. She also had almost immediate availability which was a plus since the wild bunch was overdue for baths and nails especially after all the rain we've been experiencing. Mariely arrived early and has the most amazing van with a self contained doggie salon inside. A person could actually live in the van down by the river since it has water tanks, a generator and even a heater. However, I'd recommend living in the van as about as often as I'd recommend living inside a refrigerator box, I was definitely impressed. She was very professional as well as personable. She was able to take the dogs 2 at a time which really helped calm their anxiety since they had a buddy with them. She said that they were all really easy and I know in the past when they've gone 1 at a time they can sometimes be skittish. They're all rescues so I understand when they don't want to go with a stranger outside of the house. She even outfitted them with little bandannas which was a super cool touch. Mariely is very knowledgeable about dogs and their personalities and behavior ms which is greatly appreciated. We're definitely going to have her back to take care of our babies. read more

Mariely was just here to groom our Lassie this morning --- and she was outstanding in every way! Lassie had a very negative experience with another grooming company a while back -- so bad, that we had decided not to groom her anymore as she was truly traumatized. Almost a year has gone by since then and we decided to give pro mobile grooming another try as Lassie had a bunch of undercoat and no amount of home grooming was good enough at this point - I went online and researched --- when I read Pawadise Mobile Grooming/Mariely's reviews and they were all 5 stars... something in my gut told me we should give her a try with Lassie and I'm happy to report my gut feeling was absolutely correct! She took her time with Lassie knowing her recent history and turned her around completely regarding her past trauma --- Lassie looks beautiful and she was so happy (smiling dog face - owners recognize easily) when all was said and done, she ran around in the yard with a toy, play-bowing to our other dog and was "showing off" her new "do" and cute bandana! Mariely is Lassie's grooming "whisperer" and we are happy to have have found our "go-to" groomer for her! We hadn't even talked about an estimate or method of payment during our initial communication and here again Mariely did not disappoint - her price is at the level of any other mobile groomer - very fair - and she gives you many options regarding payment but more importantly she gives you a service that is unsurpassed and worth every penny. After many hit and misses when we lost our favorite groomer because she moved back East, we have finally found someone who is perfect in every way!
