But all in all that's not too surprising. Here is where we are super impressed. We have a 80 lb mutt who really isn't fond of many people and would much rather everyone keep their distance. Except the groomers here have won her heart. Miss Nova gets her bath, raises her paws for nail clippings, and even gives them kisses. During this past year Miss Nova had a few leg surgeries and hadn't been going in for grooming. This has also prut her on the no jump list. They can accommodate these restrictions and ask about her well being. I am greatful that they have won her heart (ours too) and trust by treating her so well.

I specifically requested for them to NOT put him in a cage and we even talked about different places they could put him safely. But when I went to pick him up, he was in the cage..... I also saw how they picked him and that is NOT how you safely pick up a dog..... My dog is 14 years old and I told them that in the beginning. In my opinion, having a rapport with your beautician is just as important as having a relationship with the person grooming your dog. My last groomer, for instance, groomed Gracie Mae's hair for 4 1/2 years until we moved.

As soon as I called the groomer was so sweet! She asked me questions about my dog and about his temperament and we immediately set his appointment. Upon arrival she gave me a form with a diagram of places my pup could potentially be sensitive in! She was loving on my dog from drop off all the way to pick up! She did amazing with him! Left him looking so handsome!! It was 65 for his entire service, and I was MORE than pleased! I will be returning and will definitely become a regular!
