Good service, asked to have my 45lb dog bathed and his nails clipped. He came out looking sharp, only complaints were that the workers here don't seem too happy to be working with dogs. Also there was a sign that offered a free treat/toy if you checked in on Yell but when I showed the lady at the counter that I checked in, she said maybe next time you come we can brush his teeth for free. Honestly do NOT bring any Pomeranian here. In all 7 years of my poms life noone has given her such a bad groom. They cut her double coat down to 1 coat which has completely changed the texture of her hair now and the cut was uneven and Poms should NEVER be cut this short...ive been taking my pom here a few times and normally her groom was fine. (i even had to delete my good review) but this was the first time they cut it absolutely way too short. Her coat may never be the same. Our terrier/chihuahua mix's cut was also uneven and choppy.. Yes we complained and got a partial refund and the owner was apologetic and offered discounts next time. But the damage is done and we will not be returning. My husband has taken his family dog here a few times, and they do such a great job. Our dog, Codi, is an outdoor dog, so he often has nappy, knotty hair and sometimes fleas. We usually get the summer cut so he's always clean and well-groomed. They also give him a cute little bandanna afterwards as well. Great establishment! I have been coming to this grooming place for about a year now. But after today's visit I won't be coming back... dropped off my labradoodle and when it was time for pick up her bottom and tail were wet, I assumed it was probably perfume spray but when she got in the car I smelled the urine. And this was less than 20 mins after receiving the text message that she was ready. Next while putting her shoes on to go for a walk I noticed a bug in her fur, when I took a closer look it was a FLEA!!! My dog has never had FLEAS my dogs gets a monthly pill to prevent any fleas and ticks, my husband and I found 3 FLEAS on her!!! We had to go out and buy flea shampoo to make sure there was no more on her, and we and to completely strip our home and wash everything in the house to be safe. WE WILL NOT BE COMING BACK...!! This is my first time bringing my dog to this shop, and it will also be my last. I am very particular about my dog's grooming style, so I personally dropped her off before work. I brought reference photos of the look I wanted and clearly explained my requirements. I specifically mentioned that it was my first time at their shop because my previous groomer had accidentally cut the fur around my dog's mouth too short last time, which I was not happy with. I asked them to be extra careful this time. After looking at the photos I provided, the staff member who assisted me mentioned that my dog's fur might not be long enough to achieve the desired style. I expressed understanding and explicitly instructed them not to cut it short if it wasn't long enough--just let it grow out instead. To ensure they would take good care of my dog, I even paid the full amount in advance and left a $20 tip. I emphasized that I didn't mind having to bring her back for another trim in two weeks when her fur grows longer--the most important thing was that she looked good after today's grooming and that her fur wasn't cut too short. However, when my husband picked her up, her haircut looked nothing like what I had requested. The fur on her head and around her mouth was cut extremely short and looked awful. What's worse, the fur on one side of her mouth was uneven, as if a chunk was missing. I called and complained that the result was completely different from what I asked for and that it looked terrible. Their response was, "There's only one groomer working today," which sounded as if the skilled groomer wasn't on duty, so this was the best they could do. I was furious, but I decided not to leave a negative review immediately, thinking it might harm their business. The next morning, I sent them a message asking what solution they could offer for butchering my dog's haircut. They replied that they had informed the owner and that the owner would contact me directly. But from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., no so-called owner reached out to me. So when a customer raises a complaint, they not only ignore it but also deceive the customer. This is even more infuriating. read more

Very bad experience on 06/20/25 at this grooming shop. I told them to hair cut not too shot for my dog. However, they don't care and do what ever they do the hair cut. I told them don't cut the pee pee hair for my dog. However, they don't care. The service is awkward and ugly. You will not come no more. The charge is high as well with bad attitude. THEY CHARGE $80 PLUS 3.5% credit card fee for this ugly service with a total $82.80. IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. IT IS VERY BAD TO COLLECT THIS 3.5% CREDIT CARD FEE FROM CUSTOMER. DO NOT come to this LA Pets Grooming, the problem is a bad management. They don't take note for the requirements of each dog. They just do grooming with no experience at all. DO NOT COME, DO NOT COME, AND DO NOT COME. YOU WILL NOT HAPPY WHEN IT HAPPENED TO YOU. The owner should find out this bad management and make an improvement. My anger is still not release. I thought I had found a good groomer for my Shih Tzu. I took my four year-old dog here four weeks and three days ago. They charged me $65 for grooming, cutting an inch off and shampoo with oatmeal shampoo. We took him back today for the exact same thing and they charge me $80. They said they went up five dollars on the grooming and $10 on the shampoo. Unfortunately, I cannot go back to them as I have two dogs and I will not pay $80 for grooming every month. Sadly, it looks like a bate and switch to me. I hope not. Nevertheless, I can not support a $15 increase for this. I originally gave the business a three star because the cut was decent but the price went up drastically. I called back and someone called me back. The extra $10 is a charge for new customers requesting oatmeal shampoo, apparently. They reversed the charge. So I'm okay with an increase in price within in reason. So I will return since we understand each other. read more
