My mouth isn't crooked they just cut me like this. My hair on top looks just as bad. Luckily my owner won't bring me back. Please don't.

Alert all Australian Doodle owners be very cautious of which groomer you choose, (even after documenting the instructions for grooming) he decided to perform his own cut. Interesting they were not around when I picked him up. He cut his chin hair because he thought it was better for the dog. It held too much water for him. 4k dog and he decides what's best. That's just the start. They walked away when I offered proof I did not request the hair cut, but a trimming. Not only did they cut it but it's a bad one at least.. LoL...

I debated writing this because I actually liked the groomer and my puppy's haircut came out nice…read more But the overall experience was extremely stressful and poorly handled. I brought my puppy in for a routine groom with JAZMIN and was told he had a mat on his arm. I completely understand that mats happen--that wasn't the issue. The issue was how it was communicated and handled. Before I left, she checked his entire body in front of me and confirmed that was the only mat. Despite that, she began telling me that his entire body might need to be shaved down and that he could possibly be showing skin. As a dog owner, that's very alarming--especially when it doesn't match what was actually found. When I tried to ask questions and figure out a reasonable solution, instead of guiding me, her response multiple times was: "Do you want to just take him?" She repeated this several times--even after I had scheduled my day around this appointment and was clearly trying to move forward. Even when I came back to adjust the plan (just bathe him, hygiene cut, etc.), I was met again with: "Do you want to take him?" There was no reassurance, no clear plan, and no offer to simply proceed and call me if anything else was found--which would have resolved everything. Instead, I spent hours going back and forth, stressed and unsure if I was going to pick my dog up shaved down to the skin over one small mat. The final result? Exactly what I initially expected--only that small area was trimmed and the rest of his coat was perfectly fine. That confirms this situation was unnecessarily escalated from the start. I don't have an issue with the grooming result. But the communication, tone, and overall handling of the situation were disappointing and avoidable. When I spoke with a manager, I was told the groomer may have been "having a bad day." Respectfully, that shouldn't affect how customers are treated--especially when it involves their pets. Because of this experience, I won't be returning. I just can't go through that level of stress again over something so minor.

While we were not in the market for a cat when coming in to check out this place, we fell in LOVE with one of the kittens up for adoption. We had to file the paperwork through the Humane Society, so we couldn't leave with her that day but nonetheless, we got our little fur baby here. As for the store itself, I personally feel the prices are higher than elsewhere. The main thing I've gotten here was cat litter (which typically runs a few bucks higher than other stores.) I have only made these purchases when I've received 20-25% off coupons in the mail which brought the price down below competitors. There is a clearance rack near the cat adoptions. Here I've found cat treats for up to 75% off (depending on the expiration, sooner they expire, the less $ they'll be). Staff are usually pretty helpful and always friendly. Some of the guys offer to carry the 25-40lbs cat litter containers out to my vehicle for me which is super sweet of them. Lastly, while researching for this post, I wanted to look up the exact cost of the cat litter from their website... only their website is not very good. A simple search for cat litter came up with "no results found." Then I looked through the cats-supplies-litter and waste management tabs and again, "no results found." Very odd. So I don't have any actual price data to include. Their website needs a lot of work.

The receptionist who answered sounded anything but friendly when he scheduled me and took down my information. Told me I needed shot records, but didn't give any other information. I was already not impressed but I decided to give them a shot anyway. (Maybe he wasn't having a great day?) Come the day of the appointment, I get to the place and the receptionist there didn't even look up at me when I walked in. She seemed pretty lack-luster. Then she asked me what I wanted done for my dog. I explained that I've never brought a dog to the groomers before because my other dogs have all had short hair. She called the groomer in and they both kept asking me "what do you want?" I don't know how I could have said "I don't know" in any other ways. I just asked for what they would recommend as my dog had matted fur and needed a clean up. It was frustrating to say the least. When you have someone who doesn't know what to ask for, it doesn't make must sense to ask her what she wants, does it? My dog is a rescue and very nervous around new people, and even though I told the staff this, they were very aggressive in trying to get her to come to them. It was so hard to get her to come, that I had to leave the leash there with them so they could lead her back with it after I left. When I picked my dog up, they let her out of the back area into the small glass lobby area with no leash or collar. Just let her run out by herself. Almost as soon as they let her out, someone else came in and my leash-less dog ran out of the door and into the parking lot. She could have been hit by a car or ran away. Any number of things! Luckily she circled back to me and I was able to grab her. Why would you just let a dog out with no leash? If I had not been in a reasonable mood, I probably would have made a bigger deal of it. I doubt I will be back because this last thing was just the clincher after an already underwhelming experience.

My mother took our Havachon puppy here to get a grooming since our normal groomer is unavailable…read more Our puppy has curly-ish hair and he's mildly fluffy but he has dense & short hair so he's not prone to matting or tangles. His haircut looked an absolute mess as they left parts of him longer than others AND left choppy spots. Not only was the haircut a mess but they decided that he magically had hair knots in his ears so they decided to PLUCK it out which has resulted in my puppy developing an ear infection. When a groomer finds an issue with a pet they should be advised to talk to the owner about any "solutions" prior to them performing anything. This was not done....We also did not find out about this UNTIL after we visited the vet and called the groomers and that is when they informed us about the ear plucking. His ears were so irritated that his ear canal started bleeding and developing puss. You could only imagine how uncomfortable this is for a PUPPY. I do not recommend this place at all.

I don't usually write reviews, but our recent experience at WoofGang Bakery & Grooming in Sienna…read moremade it necessary. My mom brought our dog in, and while she may not have thought the experience was "bad enough" to speak up at the time, when she came home and told me about it, I couldn't just let it go. We've taken our dog to other grooming places before and have never had issues like this. The woman at the front desk--an older/middle-aged Black woman--wasn't the nicest. She seemed a bit unsure of what she was doing, which happens, but what bothered us more was her overall attitude. If you're dealing with customers and their pets, basic friendliness goes a long way--and that just wasn't there. What stood out even more was the woman who I believe is the owner. While I was waiting for my dog, I watched her talk endlessly to a customer--just rambling on about who knows what. It wasn't a warm or engaging conversation; it felt more like the customer was stuck listening, and you could tell they were trying to politely escape. But beyond the talking, what really rubbed me the wrong way was how she treated her staff. There was a vibe--like she wasn't the kindest or most genuine with them. It's not something you want to feel in a place where people are trusting you with their pets. And here's what really pushed me to write this review: my dog's tail was left looking choppy and uneven. It was the most noticeable part of his grooming, and it just wasn't done well at all. That's not something I expect from a professional grooming service. To top it off, a friend of mine went in a few days later and had her own odd experience. That same front desk associate offered her dog food that was about to expire. She took it but found it even more strange that the lady confidently told her it was about to expire and that was why she was giving it to her to try--and honestly, so did I. That's not the kind of customer experience that inspires confidence. Overall, between the poor grooming, the awkward energy, and the unprofessional vibe, we won't be coming back.
