We were so grateful to have Dr. Toni C. come to gently treat our treasured cat with respect and tenderness, as we euthanized him to end his pain from terminal cancer. She is very compassionate and was very helpful, explaining what she was doing at every step. Roscoe loved the ladies so he was so calm when she started helping us handle him. They offer a few services such as cremation, ashes, and little mementos as part of your payment if you choose to have those. I opted to have Roscoe's ashes spread out to Sea as it was too hard for me to have to go through the whole thing of picking them up. This is a very good service, the person on the phone was helpful and compassionate as well. They came to our home today. They literally arrive exactly when it was scheduled which allowed my wife and I to love on our dog to the last minute. Not too early, not too late. Lucky hates and is terrified of the vet and we told them that so they suggested prescribing a sleep aid and pain meds prior to their arrival. It absolutely was worth the extra cost because the drugs were enough to make Lucky calm to the point where he was super tired but not asleep so we could love on him to the very end. The vet(Dr Caroline Sites?) informed us of everything that was going to happen. She poked him with a sub Q injection that he hardly felt at that point. He merely turned his head and then looked back at me. She told us when everything was going to happen and it was exact. The whole process was so peaceful. Our poor dog looked like a sleeping puppy in the end. At first I offered to help get him into the van and they agreed but just before I did that I realized I was looking at him peaceful and ultimately that was the last image I want of him. Dr sites just said we could go in our back yard and they would take care of everything and they did. My wife and I cried for 5 minutes and we walked back in and they were gone. No mess. You guys are wonderful and I can't express to you how valuable you are to us. Thank you. read more

When you have a pet, you also know that one day, the time will come that you have to make that dreadful decision. After seeing my cat of 16 years who was so full of life and independent become so sick, I knew it was time to let her be at peace. Seeing her in pain and struggling every day, hurt me too much. Already knowing I wanted to do in home euthanasia, I began researching and comparing different places. I also knew that due to Covid, many vets wouldn't allow owners inside the room during the process. The thought of having to take my cat who already hated car rides to the vet to be put down without me present and having to take her back home in an emotionally unstable state wasn't an option. I called Paws Into Grace on a Saturday morning to get more information. I wish I could remember the name of the lovely woman that assisted me with the process. I began sobbing on the phone as she asked me questions, as I thought to myself I couldn't believe I was making this call. She was so understanding and calming and gave me reassurance that I was making the right decision. I scheduled the appointment for 2 days later in the evening. Dr. Courtney Mills arrived right as scheduled. I don't think I've met anyone with the most angelic voice and calming demeanor but I am so glad she came. Dr. Mills began by sitting on the floor where my baby laid and gently stroked her while beginning to explain the process to me. After a few minutes and of course going at my pace, she said once my baby was relaxed, she would administer the first sedative at which she would feel no pain. I was able to pet my baby and kiss her all while Dr. Mills worked around us. It was then time for the final injection, my baby was finally at peace. Dr. Mills explained every detail along the way, even what to expect during certain moments in the process which was very helpful. I sobbed once Dr. Mills said she had passed. But it was the most beautiful afternoon during sunset and it was so calm that afternoon. It's as if time had stopped during the whole process. Before departing, Dr. Mills asked if I needed additional services for cremation etc. as they do make arrangements. I opted to bury my baby at home so it was not needed. They also do ask this during the appointment scheduling to make it easier not having to make last minute decisions. After having a family pet put down years ago in the vet, I am so grateful and thankful for Paws Into Grace for giving such a beautiful service and allowing to make such a difficult decision as easy as possible in the comfort of your home. They are definitely more reasonable than other places I reviewed. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a peaceful way to send their furbaby to the rainbow bridge. We had to say goodbye to our sweet tabby Abbigail in August, the team Rebecca, Roxanne, and Brooke at the office were so helpful and sympathetic to our loss, Dr. Michael Ishida performed the very peaceful at home euthanasia, let me say Dr. Ishida made this process a 100 times easier and so serene, his kindness and gentle handling with Abbigail made my husband and I feel so safe in such a vulnerable moment. Paws into grace was able to give us an appointment within a few hours. The Vet I can't remember his name I do remember it was started with a C so we'll call him Dr.C, he was such a kind and caring veterinarian, and made the process just as easy as our previous experience. We had to say bye to our family dog of 17 years. There is no harder decision you have to make as a pet owner, but giving Zoomie a good death was something that my family and I found to be a priority at the end of her life, and so when the vet told us to let her go, we did so in a way that would reduce distress as much as possible and would therefore have to happen in the comfort of our home--in comes Paws into Grace. I don't know if my review can put to justice the kindness, consideration, and dignity that was not only shown to us but to Zoomie by Dr. Mills, but I'm going to try. Dr. Mills came to our home and ensured that our not-very-friendly-to-outsiders dog, Zoomie, was comfortable and relaxed before proceeding. She answered all of our questions, prepared us with what to expect, and throughout the entire process, told us and Zoomie what she was about to do, what was happening, and what would happen next. Dr. Mills allowed us the room and space to grieve between each step and was so incredibly intentional about how she administered the medication and interacted with Zoomie. Her consideration for the other animals that lived in the house was very much appreciated as well. What can easily be one of the worst days as a pet owner became something we will look back on and be incredibly thankful for--mainly in part to Dr. Mills. Zoomie passed in the comfort of her home, surrounded by love, and eating a little bit of ice cream. We would all be so lucky to pass as she did.
