Its never too easy to make that call for your beloved pet. As pet parents, we made that hard decision and called Paws into Grace and got scheduled with Dr Toni on a saturday. We spoke to a kind lady named Elizabeth who was very supportive and patient on the phone. After that, there was that lingering doubt in the back of my mind whether we called too soon or not as my Pogie's appointment neared. Dr Toni arrived and was nothing short of amazing. The doubts we had were gone as she slowly explained our dogs poor quality of life and that as responsible pet owners, did the right call to give our Pogie a dignified rest. She explained the whole process from beginning to end allowing us to grieve in between as well as listening to us mention a few funny stories of our goofy dog. She made sure our pet was positioned comfortably during the whole process. I stayed with him the entire process even wrapping him up with his favorite bedsheet and carrying him to her car. I recently had to say goodbye to my best friend Indy. This was my first time ever saying goodbye to a pet. I called Paws of Grace first because of their great reviews. After discussing the process and options with the reception I felt confident in choosing them. My husband suggested we should call around for pricing but I didn't have it in me to discuss anymore. Turns out we made a great choice. The veterinarian Dr Bryn came out to our house and was so kind hearted and a true professional. I appreciated that she spent time to learn about Indy and reminisced with us. You could tell she loved dogs and that she genuinely wanted to hear about Indy's amazing life. The process was peaceful for Indy. I also appreciated that they had a van and driver ready to take Indy to be cremated. I have heard stories of dogs getting taken off in someone's trunk after being euthanized. I just picked up Indy today to bring him home. The reception again was so nice and thoughtful and the office was lovely as well. I love the paw print they gave us. My only suggestion is I would have loved for Indys name to be engraved on his box instead of a placard on top. But I didn't look to read anything in advance so that may be my fault for not knowing what I was getting. read more

I wish I hadn't needed their services but our darling kitty passed on a Saturday and I was scrambling to find a pet cremation place. I'm so glad Paws into Grace is open 7 days a week. I called and got an appointment the same day and met with Ares who was very respectful and gentle and an animal lover herself so she knew what a hard errand this was. The lobby is spacious and calming and she had a little gurney waiting with blankets on it. She locked the front door so I would have her complete attention and privacy in this awful time. She gave me all the information on the services they provide and I decided on the acacia box with our kitty's name engraved with a heart, plus a paw print and a lock of fur in a glass vial. I got the text that Baby was ready in 2 weeks just as promised and was so relieved to find out they offer home delivery even to Chula Vista. I knew they offer shipping but I didn't want to take the chance of it getting lost in the holiday mail and just wasn't up for making the long drive. Josh made the delivery and was so kind. Baby's ashes were delivered in a pretty bag with tissue and all the items were included. I was also touched to see that they had included all 3 colors of her beautiful fur in the vial. She stopped eating, became lethargic and was down to only 6 pounds very quickly. Dr. Jessica came to our house on one day's notice on Mother's Day morning. She was patient with us as she explained the procedure, reassuring us that she could immediately tell by Bella's condition we were doing the right thing, and that there was no rush, she would stay with us as long as we wished to say goodbye.
