    Sheriff at 18 years old!
    Arlene K.

Paws Into Grace made one of the hardest days our family has ever faced a little more peaceful. The veterinarian came to our home and was compassionate, professional, and took the time to explain every step of the process. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They spoke gently to our entire family, even acknowledging and helping our new puppy understand what was happening.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We never felt rushed and were given all the time we needed to say goodbye to Sheriff. I am deeply grateful for the kindness and dignity they showed during such a heartbreaking moment, and I would highly recommend their services.

This is the special place I've made to honor my princess Bonnie.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I cannot put into words my gratitude for the AMAZING people at Paws for Grace....they truly are beyond the BEST![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's been 3 weeks today since we said goodbye to Wookie. I got him back yesterday and I'm happy to have him home. I had a ring made with his ashes in it and I love it! [[HIGHLIGHT]]From beginning to end, the process was smooth and everyone was so kind and compassionate every step of the way.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]HUGE shout out to Dr. Benson who came out to help Wookie transition. She couldn't have been any kinder[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I highly recommend Paws Into Grace. While I'm not looking forward to the day I have to call them yet again, I would in an instant.

We knew our boy Moose, whom we had since he was 3-5 years old who was now 15-17 needed Paws into Grace. It's not what we wanted (him gone) but it was the right thing to do since he had become ill and wasn't wanting to eat. In contacting them over the phone and sharing our situation, the attendant was extremely responsive and empathetic to our situation. As the date got closer, our poor boy declined quicker and we even had to move the date up. The company was super flexible and understanding and we were grateful they were able to accommodate this move to two days earlier. When the day came, we were certainly sad. When Dr. Benson arrived, she was soft spoken and kind. She greeted Moose and as soon as he noticed someone had walked in he got up and wagged his tail the best he could. This scene brought me to tears because that was the essence of who Moose was as our pet. He loved ALL humans and was always seeking their attention. Dr. Benson pet Moose and gave him love and affection. He received it and then went to his bed shortly after. She explained the process to us from start to finish. She was gentle in her wording and handling of every last detail. We set Moose up in one of his favorite sunning spots in the yard on his bed. And gracefully, Moose crossed over the rainbow bridge. We were given plenty of time to spend with Moose as the sedative worked and then after the final moments we were able to say our final goodbyes. The gentlemen who came to take care of Moose afterwards was soft spoken and extremely kind. He took care of Moose and left respectfully as he came. We are so grateful from start to finish how this went with our beloved boy. We will forever miss him. But the send off he was given will be forever a part of his journey. Thank you, Paws into Grace. Your whole team are gems.

I cannot express my gratitude for the staff here that were so compassionate after the sudden passing of my senior cat, Lady. Her passing came on very suddenly at an emergency vet clinic nearby and they were beyond helpful in helping arrange everything. When I arrived there was a specific bed that was awaiting her and she was handled with the greatest care when she was placed in it so we could say our final goodbyes. Her remains came back beautifully displayed and in a timely fashion. There was never any pushing towards a more expensive package than the one we chose which was also very deeply appreciated. The staff were compassionate, kind, and held a very sacred space for my little girl and for the people that loved her so much. Thank you all again from the bottom of my heart. It's taken me over a year to write this, but you're doing incredible work in stewarding over our beloved animals that have passed.

Snoopy always let us dress him up

We were truly Blessed to find Paws Into Grace. During such a difficult time for the family. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Samantha was just awesome over the phone and guiding us through the process.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At first there were no available appointments & she sent me a few recommendations that could help out.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were lucky that they had an opening so our dog can rest and not suffer another day. Dr Derek arrived and was great and explained the whole process. Everyone was very professional and respected our wishes. They have great affordable prices. We went with the home visit and cremation. The total was right under $800. They also gave me a military discount. I highly recommend to use Paws Into Grace for your pets final moments.

Hi, what is the cost to cremation for a dog about 60-70lbs? What do you offer?

Hi Guadalupe, the cremation cost for a dog weighing around 60 to 70 lbs is $350. Additional factors, such as memorial item add-ons or transportation services for pickup or delivery, may affect the final price. I hope this helps! Please feel free to…

One acquaintance did call Peaceful Passing after I suggested it, and had a lovely experience with the service. I believe it was Dr. Boisse who visited her, but I'm not sure. So when the time came for my own rabbit to pass on, of course I called Peaceful Passing. The scheduling worked out ok: Abbey was helpful and compassionate, and a veterinarian was called to come to my home on fairly short notice (during those pandemic days when it was very hard to get a vet appointment anywhere). Unfortunately the vet who came out was neither Dr. Haver nor Dr. Boisse. She came to us after her regular work shift at a pet hospital, and frankly seemed tired and a bit rushed. This is understandable, under the circumstances, and on some level I appreciate her trying to "fit us in." But it did not contribute to a peaceful experience for us, and I feel that it would have been more ethical for the vet to decline an appointment she was not capable of performing appropriately. She also did not take her shoes off, which in times of the RHDV2 virus is just unacceptable. (We had other rabbits living with us.) But the worst part was that the vet clearly did not have rabbit experience, and should not be making house calls for rabbits. She scared our rabbits and did not know how to handle her little patient, who died in terror and confusion. The entire euthanasia experience took an eternity, and everything about it was absolutely traumatic for our entire family. I'm truly sorry to be so blunt, but it felt more like an execution than the peaceful euthanasia we had wanted for our little bunny girl. At the end the vet unceremoniously packed up our deceased rabbit's body and left in a hurry -- without giving us time to say good-bye, and with barely an "I'm sorry." I was so distressed after this experience that I couldn't even bring myself to write a review -- I just wanted to forget about the whole thing. But I had to call another home euthanasia service the other day for another beloved pet who was ready to go. And this was such a beautiful experience that it made my awful episode with Peaceful Passing feel even worse by comparison. I decided to finally leave my review, because I really do feel the need to warn others about what happened to us. I'm giving a second star only because I have to believe, based on everything I have heard about Peaceful Passing, that this must have been a horrible exception to their usual level of service. I have heard nothing but good things about Dr. Boisse and Dr. Haver, but I cannot recommend this other veterinarian at all. (She was not at the time, and is not now, listed on Peaceful Passing's website, so I don't know her name.)

Atlas was 13yo, and I made the difficult decision to decline the invasive treatment options available. Instead, I vowed that Atlas would live out the rest of his days with peace and joy, never stepping foot in a vet clinic again. Peaceful Veterinary Care allowed me to keep that vow to Atlas by giving him a calm and dignified passing at home surrounded by his favorite people. From the kind and empathetic staff answering my questions over the phone to Dr. Rose's professional and compassionate bedside manner with Atlas and me alike, everyone at Peaceful Veterinary Care is truly in service of the families they care for. The day of Atlas' passing was beautiful and bright, so we all went out to my backyard where Atlas could feel most comfortable. We were not rushed in our goodbyes or grief, and the entire process was quiet and calm... I am so grateful that I had the opportunity to plan those arrangements for my dearest boy. He deserved nothing less. I will add that I initially chose Peaceful Veterinary Care because I was especially interested in their aquamation services. I knew that I wanted Atlas' ashes, but I also wanted a more environmentally responsible option than traditional cremation. Atlas' remains were ready in one short week, and they even included a beautiful clay paw print and a small collection of fur. The loss of a beloved family pet is profound and devastating. The services offered by Peaceful Veterinary Care honor the sanctity of those deep bonds, allowing space to truly celebrate the life and love shared.

Thankfully, she was diagnosed with old dog vestibular syndrome and is doing well. I called ABC Veterinary and spoke with a gentleman at the front desk to explain everything that had happened. I specifically told him that I would still be bringing my dog to her scheduled appointment because I needed to speak with Dr. Meyer about her condition and how this would affect her upcoming surgery to remove a mass. The next day, my husband received a phone call asking whether we would be coming to the appointment because they had the impression that the owner of the dog was the one in the hospital. I don't understand how that message was communicated instead of the information I actually provided. When I arrived for the appointment, I was surprised to learn it had been scheduled as a technician visit for blood work only. I explained that I needed to speak with Dr. Meyer about my dog's care. I was then told that if I wanted to wait to see the doctor, I would have to pay an additional $75 because she didn't have time to see me right away. This was extremely frustrating. My dog had just spent the night in the emergency hospital, where she had already undergone blood work, X-rays, and an MRI. None of that information was discussed, and instead it felt like the only way I could have a conversation with the veterinarian about my dog's condition and planned surgery was by paying another fee. Good communication is essential, especially when a pet has experienced a medical emergency and is scheduled for surgery. Instead, I experienced poor communication, confusion, and a lack of concern for my dog's ongoing care. The focus seemed to be on additional charges rather than making sure everyone was informed and addressing my questions. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this office. I would encourage anyone looking for veterinary care to choose a practice that prioritizes communication, compassion, and continuity of care for both pets and their owners.
