His energy level has been less of an issue with Bethany's help, she has a great way with dogs but also communicates clearly with owners and explains why and how the obedience commands are supposed to work, she has also interpreted his show ring behaviors and explained what the objectives are to me to achieve a more trusting and less difficult relationship. I admit he's been a challenge. She's both direct and sensitive, not at all a drill sergeant type of trainer, and she is certainly aware of the nature of different breeds and individual dogs. I highly recommend her classes and one-on-one sessions. She has a wealth of experience with all kinds of specialty training beyond basic obedience.

We took in on a Monday and was prescribed bland diet, clucosamine and benadryl, blood was done, negative. And told to watch her. End of week she was worse so we took her and more tests were done. Three days for the result and negative Another test suggested but she didn't stay alive for it. I took her good health for granted and relb8ied on the Vet to get to the bottom of her lillness. I called them multiple times and texted with the staff to ensure that he was doing alright. I was told that he was "sad", but that he was doing fine and was alright." I retained the text messages to prove this. I left an emergency contact who was my nephew in the event he did not do well or became ill during his stay. My emergency contact was never called. When my husband and I picked him up, he was scared, confused, very dirty and seemed very dazed. I asked if they used any sedation on him and I was told "no" by the owner who identified himself as Tom. (this conversation was done through email) He told me that my dog was not a good fit for the facility. He told me he stayed in his kennel/suite and he had to be hand fed. He told me that his staff tried to clean him after his "accidents". My dog is perfectly trained and has never had accidents. We recently moved back to Rochester, NY from another state. In our previous state he was boarded multiple times and was enrolled in daycare. He NEVER had any issues at any prior establishment and was always returned calm, clean and happy. I feel responsible in some ways because I never was shown the facility beyond the front desk. Although the website has a photo of an outside area, when we picked him up and drove to the back of the building, there was no outdoor space or fenced in play area of any sort. I do not understand why they would have allowed my dog to suffer like that for 10 days without contacting me or my emergency contact. the only reason I can think of is that they wanted their full 10 day fee of $545. I would never leave my pet with this establishment.

He has them playing with other dogs and I relieved me, knowing that they were in good hands and having good playful training with him and the other dogs. I am part of a rescue company and he's the only one that they go to as well because of his extensive training. The facility is large with many different rooms for the dogs. I highly recommend him for anyone that wants to have obedience training for their dog and for any other concerning issues. He's very knowledgeable when it comes to handling and just knowing what they need. Of course part of training is not just for the dog, but for the owner and how the techniques must be used.
