I contacted her through the site and she contacted me within a couple hours. We met and she was such a nice kind person. My dog is a rescue with some behavior problems (like humping her) and she was really great with him! Because I can't afford a dog walker each day, she was really open and was willing to just come however many days I asked for the following week. It made Cooper's transition to home life so much better. She is really the perfect person to be walking a dog and really observes how your dog is acting. She'll text 'Cooper was shaking his neck a lot-i think his ears are bothering him. You may want to take a look tonight!'. One of our dogs even had an accident, and she let us know AND cleaned it up! I even (only once!) asked her to walk the dog with only a few hour's notice after I had woken up late and didn't think he got enough of a walk before I had to get to work-and she was so there for me. We have another dog as well who is 10 so she doesn't need a walk. Amanda lets her outside in our yard before leaving so she can have a pee break too (even though she doesn't need it). I'm very picky on who to bring my chihuahua, Nena, to for grooming since she is quite uncooperative…read morewhen it comes to her paws being held and struggles against anyone who tries to clip her nails. She won't even let us hold onto her paws long enough to clip her nails and we had her for nearly a year now. I also feel IMMENSE anxiety when I leave her with anyone, I constantly worry about her getting injured, causing trouble, or having a negative experience that would further impact her when it comes to grooming. Nena's nails are getting very long and finding a groomer during this time is difficult since everyone was booked for months in advanced. When Nena was done with her tidy-up appointment (which is $25 for a nail clipping and ear cleaning) with Ashley I was very happy with the results and her overall service! When we first came the Kritter Korner, I called Ashley to let her know we arrived so she can pick up Nena for us. Ashley gave as an estimated time of around 30-45 minutes, so we decided to go pick up some food during this timeframe. We were surprised when I received a text message way sooner than we expected from Ashley telling us that Nena was done, the surprise being rooted in how Nena is a very fussy little chihuahua and her last grooming with someone else took around 30 minutes. Ashley let us know that she couldn't file Nena's nails because she won't let her to, and I appreciate her honesty and I would prefer her not to go through with the nail filing if Nena really refuses it. I want every grooming experience to be as positive as possible for our little Nena. Besides, a couple a walks would naturally file her nails anyway. Aside from that, Nena's nails are clipped to the perfect length and she smelled faintly of lavender. I'm just ecstatic to have brought Nena here and will definitely be coming back when she needs another nail clipping. Ashley herself is a very amazing person, and I'm sure that factored in with Nena's cooperativeness. I also appreciate her texting and communicating through texts since my phone isn't really the greatest when it comes to calling. When I asked her for what she accepts as a payment, she told me she accepts CashApp, Venmo, and cash, so when you book a service with her make sure you have one of these ready!
