Had a terrible overall experience last year. Took over 10 weeks to complete kitchen remodel. PKC would not assign an experienced on-site Project Manager to the job even though we asked them several times. Too many different crews and most of the guys were not friendly. Their greatest concern was getting their payments immediately each time. Painted our kitchen the wrong color even after they asked us to provide the color number and description from Home Depot. Had to repaint it ourselves. Would not do business with PKC again and will not recommend them to anyone. Sorry! read more

Paul called and set up appointment Joseph arrived and measured twice and went over all the pros of Payless. Lifetime warranty all maple dovetailed cabinets stating that all personnel would be company people except for the company that will be raiding the soffit ceiling, can lighting and vent. We asked for 2 itemized bids one with and one without soffit. We got the bid w/o soffit was $5000.00 less but nothing else was itemized and the bid was higher than expected so without itemized we were unable to pick and choose to lower cost. Joseph did show discounts for veterans among other things but We will be taking other bids from other companies. Companies if you don't itemized you may be pricing yourself out simply by not being accountable. read more

When our project was finally done we were asked to re-consider our review. However, I wanted to wait until I needed follow-up service to see if anything improved. WELL.... we need service per our Warranty, since the entirety of the grout behind our kitchen cabinet is cracking. I emailed Tamar to get help; and she forwarded on to our the kitchen manager. They confirmed with my husband they'd be out today for service via text, and I called to confirm arrival time. The customer service agent indicated they had no records of a ticket..... so I said please reach out to Tamar, since someone confirmed they're coming today. After some time on hold (since I couldn't wait for them to get back as I have another appt.), they indicated the repairmen for the grout refused to do the job and they rescheduled us to next Wednesday! Without any notice that no one would even come today; or asking whether next Wednesday would be okay! Glad I called....., since (a) no one was going to show up after-all; and (b) no one would even be at our house on Wednesday when they showed up! This was just one of the MANY frustrating issues we had while our kitchen project was being done. Clearly things have NOT changed with this terrible company!
