WestClay Wine and Spirits does wine tastings and spirit tastings weekly, sometimes multiple times a week. You can keep up with their schedule on social media. I was encouraged to visit for a tasting, and was told that the tastings are super low-key and fun, and a good way to try something that might be new to me.

Needless to say, when I walked in and looked at the bottles on sale, I was very disappointed. There was a small selection of liquor on sale that was the warehouse closeout on one side of the store, and it was not that impressive. I did end up getting a nice Kentucky bourbon small barrel whiskey for a great price, and some non alcoholic beer for Super Bowl Sunday. This is an outdated old liquor store that is not like other 21st Amendment stores that I have been to before. The selection of beer is Ok, but not impressive. The liquor selection is Ok, and the wine selection is mediocre. The staff are not that helpful and appear to be bored and not interactive, so if you need assistance or have questions, you are out of luck. I would not come back here again personally just because the selection of products is mediocre and not really worth the time to spend looking for a bottle of liquor or beer. The staff are in their own little world and not available to help at a moment's notice, so that alone tells me not to come back here again. It is a decent liquor store for what it is, but just not up to quality standards. You can take it or leave it.
