Maybe you like me had forgotten about The Loft at Traders Point...or you just didn't know about! Well I'm here to tell you make the reservation and go! From the moment we checked in with the host stand we were impressed! We were quickly seated and greeted. Jonaz was our server and he was incredible- he made so many recommendations for us, pointed out what's popular, what he loves and explained more about the flavors working together on the menu than would meet the eye! We also got to see Pascal, one of the managers while we were there! If you frequented Patachou in Clay Terrace...you know Pascal! We enjoyed an incredible cheese board to start our meal! Fantastic drinks- as someone who is currently pregnant I LOVED that they had mocktails that were not super sweet, that seems to be tough for a lot of places to get on the menu! We also started with the Yeast Rolls which sound so simple but were incredible. Moving on we had the Harvest Salad- I had never had pickled rhubarb and it was such a great addition. The black tea vinaigrette was amazing, fresh and light- the team in the back of the house knows what they are doing and is putting the work in on creating a perfectly curated menu with flavors that WORK! For entrees I had the Foraged Mushroom Bucatini with salmon added and my husband had the New York Strip. It's been a minute since we've been somewhere that's served a perfectly cooked steak on the first shot and this was edge to edge perfectly medium rare for him. We shared a side of the Spring Green vegetables- I'll dream about them, they were amazing. Jonaz helped my husband pick out a glass of wine to compliment his entree and knocked it out of the park. Now I'm telling you- you're going to want to eat all your food but you have to save room for dessert! How can you come and not try any ice cream?! We had the strawberry ice cream to split and it was a great end to our meal. I will say as we were leaving we saw a server walk by with a Toffee Crumble Sundae (I think that's the name) and let's just say that next time...we'll be trying that! We will 100% be back! we made reservations about a month in advance for their mother's day brunch - definitely recommend doing so as there was no availability within 2 weeks. there was still a wait despite the reservation but no more than ~15 mins. overall, we loved how cute and cottage core the entire restaurant is. it feels like you're stepping back in time. the service was great considering how busy they were. and i loved seeing the cows grazing and playing around. adorable!! we were recommended the cinnamon roll and had that to share and it may have been the best of my life! it's served warm and covered in icing (which i'm normally not a fan of) but it was sooo creamy and sweet. absolutely yummy! i ordered the omelette of the day which they were able to make vegetarian. it was sooo flavorful and filled with well-seasoned veggies and came with a side of roasted potatoes that were actually divine. i was beyond satisfied! the rest of my party ordered biscuits & gravy with scrambled eggs and they all raved about how good they were! their drink menu had a nice variety of options - i had the vanilla passionfruit spritz which wasn't super sweet but had a nice flavor. they also had a drink made with gin & matcha that sounded refreshing. if it's available, I'll try that next time! read more

This quaint restaurant sits on the second floor of the main building for this farm. They truly have farm to table with all their beef grass fed. Last time I came I tried the burger and it was delicious, but this time I wanted to try something new. The duck was tender and the pasta tasted fresh, the only thing is I didn't feel it was as seasoned as it could have been, I had to ask for some salt. The service here is always delightful with the waiters able to bring out a little fan to keep the flies away. Sitting outside really is one of the best places here. When we came Saturday evening we could even hear the cows mooing! One of the best restaurants near the Indianapolis area by far with a unique experience. He suggested the yeast rolls and I was like "what could be so special about these rolls?" Let me tell you. Best rolls ever. - entrees were incredible. My potato fries could've been crispier but it was okay Cons: - we were seated by the restroom and someone had a moment in there so it kind of stunk. - we were a huge fan of the sprouts! What a fun place! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The hostess was attentive and sat me right away. Dining alone on business can make me feel awkward but she found me a "perfect place" that's was very cozy. The waitstaff was wonderful. Friendly with just the right touch of paying attention to me. Food? Airline chicken breast. It was fine. Nothing truly special but very tasty. Overall, it was a nice evening in a unique setting. This hidden farm to table gem is bursting with charm and flavor! We first visited the creamery on a field trip and had such a fun time exploring the grounds. It's such a beautiful location and the homemade ice cream was such a refreshing treat! It was then I discovered The Loft restaurant and decided to make that our next date night! It has quickly become my wife's favorite birthday treat! We love sitting out on the patio close to sunset; taking in the beauty of the garden while enjoying the well composed dishes that come from it. I like to try something new each time, but my wife loves the steak. Then ending the night with a fresh slice of pie, a scoop of their ice cream, and a cup of coffee. Perfection! Our foodie group came to The Loft Restaurant at Trader's Point Creamery for brunch one Sunday and I was blown away by the dining experience. This is a old style fashioned restaurant that has been around for a long time and the ambiance is just classy and very home style. When you walk into the restaurant, you can tell it is upscale and you will enjoy the dining experience. Our server, Jonaz, greeted us with a smile and made us feel right at home at The Loft. He had a great personality to him and was very charming to the women in our foodie group. He took excellent care of us and did not miss a beat on customer service. The food and beverages were simply phenomenal! I ordered the cranberry rosemary mimosa and an apple cider float to drink, and they were both fantastic! I ordered the omelette of the day as an entree and a side of fresh fruit. The omelette of the day was bacon, mushroom, scallions, and cheddar cheese. It was cooked to perfection and practically melted in my mouth! The fresh fruit was very fresh and a good mixture of variety of fruit. I also picked up the cranberry orange babka to go, and it was delicious. It was not what I expected it to be, but I still enjoyed it for breakfast. The apple cider float was refreshing with the salted caramel ice cream making it more enjoyable. The cranberry rosemary mimosa was the best mimosa I have ever had in a restaurant. Everything was first class at The Loft restaurant and nothing disappointing about the dining experience at all. I would come back here time and time again for brunch or even dinner if I had the chance to do so. Dinner at the Dairy is the title of this review:) The cheese plate set the tone for the nights dinner. A thoughtful arrangement of house made cheeses and spreads. The rest is a blur. The whole evening is done up in charm with the ambiance of the barn. Stop by the gift shop on the way in/out and take a piece of that memory home with you. This is a must-try if you're in Indianapolis and love a good meal (and don't mind a significant bill at the end). Our server was Chad and he was very nice and on top of everything. The food was delicious, my highlight was the mashed potatoes though. Wow they were good. The rolls ( no photo ) were a close second. The cheesecake was light and delicious with tart blueberries. Excellent. I love the interior and everyone was so friendly. We took a stroll around the garden after dinner and talked with some great people. We also got to visit the newborn calves. My family and I have been here on two different occasions, roughly a year apart. The first time in 2024 and more recently this past September. The food is always very high quality. We received everything promptly and we always receive things correctly (there are some food allergies in the family so this is extra important for us) The service is also very good, very attentive, makes good suggestions and on both occasions have been able to describe dishes (tastes, texture, comparison) very well. True farm to table atmosphere and meal. The location is in an actual farm, where you can SMELL and see the cows and livestock roaming around right outside the restaurant. They've got a massive garden out front too that really hits the point home that they make everything from scratch. The restaurant portion is located upstairs of the barn, and the first floor is a little gift shop with some of their products and other local favorite things. I will say the stairs are very steep, so just keep that in mind. It's a small restaurant seating space, but it is decorated very rustic and authentic farmhouse style. We were seated ASAP and our food came out relatively quick too. For an appetizer, their roles taste so fresh and warm and sweet. Soooo buttery and I'm not sure if it was cinnamon or what but they had the perfect hint of sweetness. I had the pasta with added chicken for dinner and a lilac lavender gin drink, and both were fantastic. The drink was so refreshing but not crazy sweet. The pasta and sauce was delicious but the chicken....was.... Amazing. So moist and well cooked. Chicken isn't something I'm ever super impressed with, but somehow they have done it so well and nailed it. The ice cream of course is fantastic too. We had some trouble with our waitress and getting the bill separate with some of our party - like a lot of trouble - but it turned out alright after about 30 minutes of back and forth and her disappearing in the back. I would 1,000% come back for dinner just for this!! The cheese is melted to perfection. Paired with the confit shallots atop sliced bread is divine. However, out Halibut and Pork Chop entrees, while cooked well, felt slightly overpriced for the depth of flavor they offered. The Halibut lacked complexity beyond the fennel, and while the Pork Chop's salsa verde sauce was tasty, it didn't fully satisfy. The side of Mac and Cheese boasted fresh cheese flavor but could benefit from a more generous coating of sauce. Overall, The Loft presents a charming ambiance and delightful appetizer. Quickly seated on the screened in deck in the back corner. 10 minutes plus before I was even noticed at which point I received some water. Waited another 10 minutes and actually saw a waitress who proceed to speak to the two tables of people closest to me. Still no contact. Waited another 10 minutes and left without ever getting to speak to a waitress. Told the young guy that seated me that I was never recognized and I was leaving to which he replied OK awesome. Absolutely loved this beautiful farm to table restaurant tucked away in Zionsville! My group came to Indianapolis for the Eras Tour from out of town, so we didn't know what to expect but this definitely exceeded my expectations. To start, the entire property is very scenic, we sat outside on the screened in heated patio and got to look at all of the gorgeous fall foliage as we ate our brunch. Service was only a bit slow, but I can tell they just had a lot going on and our waitress made sure we had everything we needed at all times. They had a wonderful selection of hot teas, coffee, and even speciality drinks. The menu was very fresh and everything was great quality. Portion sizes were excellent for the price in my opinion. I absolutely loved the ice cream as a sweet treat to end our meal (I figured we had to try it since they have a creamery!) I know if I was from the area, I would definitely return back! read more

We went for Sunday brunch, and everything was amazing! I love the ambiance of this restaurant, it's so beautiful. The food is organic and fresh with many of the ingredients grown on their property. The dairy is the best I've had! My daughter and I had hot chocolate, very rich and creamy. My son had chocolate milk. And my husband loved the coffee with fresh cream. The food is so good! Both my kids had French toast and were practically licking their plates clean. I had biscuits and gravy and my husband had the egg special. Both of our dishes were delicious! We were seated right away even though we were 15 minutes early. Our waiter was very attentive, refilling our water and coffee often. One complaint on the breads the outside was very tough and we needed a bread knife to cut the bread. Finally ask for a serrated knife. We had a meat and cheese charcuterie board. Meat was very sparse.Water served warm, which no one at the table drank theirs . The squash soup was lovely. Very tasteful without a bunch of of sweetness you get in other places. The server was very good. Our travel club had 2 tables and the wait staff kept everyone satisfied. Because of the group size, a 20% gratuity was added to our individual bills. This is a gem away from the city- I've dined here twice so far and both times I had a great experience (both brunch) ! When I was there for the very first time i wasn't really sure where the entrance was- you enter through a door to the little store there and then go upstairs. There they have a spacious dining area. The price is a bit higher than other brunch places I typically go to, but their service is great I think it's totally worth it. Servers here are so professional and nice. So cozy and great food. From the appetizers, the Crab Toast was more sprouts than crab. The Ricotta Gnudi was overwhelmed by the cheese; not sure I had more than a couple of small mushrooms. I cannot stress how amazing this spot is enough. absolutely adorable ambiance in this rustic barn loft. It feels like getting dinner in a fancy yet comforting home. The service couldnt be nicer. I've never felt inclined to give a tip larger than 25% but after getting lunch here with a friend and having the sweetest server, anything less would have been an injustice. I got the rice bowl with salmon and was so pleased for how delicious it was - juicy, savory, and perfectly crispy and seasoned veggies with a lovely sauce! Very filling as well! Good friends from out of town made reservations for us all. We live here and had never been to the Loft restaurant or charming sharp. I purchased butter made on the grounds and can't wait to try. Gravel parking lot...little muddy. My largest concern about parking....how are people with disabilities going to navigate this scenario. Rosemary biscuits were too dry and had to use my knife to cut. Gravy was creamy and flavorful. Environment and atmosphere were tidy and pleasing to look around. We will be back in the spring to tour their property!! Prices were reasonable and fair. read more

Then to top it off the food came out cold/undercooked because they lost power. Not even the emergency exit signs we're working or the bathrooms. Over the years we have dined here for date night, brunch and to celebrate family events such as Mother's Day. The ambiance is unequaled in the city. It is a restaurant that transports you to another place and time and is always beautifully decorated during the Winter holidays. The food is always good, but I cannot place it in my favorite restaurant category. Service is always great too - even during this very long pandemic. The burger here is one of the tastiest in town. Seasoned just right. Cooked just right. Of course the cheese on it is divine. Could use a better side than the flavorless potato wedges. Last night I decided to go vegetarian and had the pumpkin pasta. Gets an 'B' for how tasty it was considering it consisted of only veggies such as butternut squash, sun dried tomatoes and kale (oh and a little cream never hurt). Could have used a bit more salt and I do not say that often because I am on a low salt diet and taste salt with a keener sense than most people. Maybe instead it could have used some sort of spice or herb to jazz it up a bit. The yeast rolls are delicious and I will order them every time I dine here. This has to be one of the most beautiful working farms around. I enjoy mostly brunch here and then of course take goodies home with me from their little store. It's not cheap, but that is the price you have to pay for fresh high quality goods. And let's be real, the farm to table concept is easily recognizable here. You can also enjoy dinners, concerts, farm tours and in the summer the dairy bar (think ice cream). Fairly easy to get to, right off the highway, with large gravel lots for parking. Those that know me are aware that I generally drag a few members of my foodie group with me, and today was no exception. Seems like they are a bit more accommodating to groups than they used to be, which is great for me. The restaurant is as beautiful as the rest of the farm, with that rustic romantic ambiance. Great food offerings and a variety of mimosas here. We tried the cinnamon roll, which was huge and so everybody at the table got a piece of it. It was delish. I enjoyed the coffee, which was pretty good, but the best thing about that was that I was served the creamer in a miniature milk can. How cute. The farm mimosa (think orange Creamsicle) basically a mimosa with milk in it, was deemed yummy. A bit tart, not as sweet as was expected. The French toast with the peaches looked spectacular and judging by how fast it disappeared, it had to be good. Two of us ordered the veggie omelet. Today it came with red peppers, chard and some fancy mushroom (forgot the name of the mushroom). It looked great and came with a nice serving of dressed greens. Unfortunately both omelets were super salty. Really had a hard time eating it and otherwise it would have been a five-star revue. I also enjoyed a side of bacon, which came with 4 delicious slices of thick cut bacon. Very tasty. The biscuits and gravy looked great and were phenomenal according to my guests, especially those ordered with an egg on it. I love The Loft! Everything about this place is perfect. The farmhouse interior is beautiful, inviting, and cozy. The service is excellent from start to finish, entry & exit. I love the store and dairy bar downstairs. Their patio is cozy and overlooks the farm property. It's truly a hidden gem. I have never had a bad meal here. I believe the food is locally and sustainably sourced, and their chef is amazing! On this visit, I had the steak sandwich special. It was a flat iron, perfectly cooked and sliced. Sadly, I can't remember the other details of this sandwich because too much time has passed, but I'll still say that this is probably the most delicious sandwich I have ever eaten. And I'm a foodie. Oh! And the dressed greens on the side had the most delicious dill vinaigrette. I need to go back soon. I've always gone for lunch and haven't needed a reservation, but I do think they appreciate reservations when possible. Either way, just go here. Please support this wonderful establishment.
