He was very responsive with my inquiry and came to the rescue early the following day! Mind you, I was requesting for quotes around 8pm on a Friday night! I was thinking that I would be charged an absurd amount since it was sort of an emergency and he came on a Saturday. However, that wasn't the case! He charged us a fair price. He was very upfront and let us know what the issue was and did not try to up sell us. He replaced the part and our pool is back up and running! I went out and bought it at the pool supply store. He installed it for free. He understands people. Sometimes you just have to go out of your way. That's what Steve does. So it's Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend, we have guests starting to arrive from across the country to celebrate my daughter's wedding over the next week and our pool pump decides it wasn't going to prime anymore. I called and Steve the owner who happened to be relatively close at another job they were doing said he could stop by to take a look. Steve arrived at 9:45am, started diagnosing the problem, and pinpointed it with in about 10 minutes. A valve was leaking and needed 3 rubber gaskets. He got things up and running to get us by until after the wedding celebration when we can have him back out to do some other over due maintenance and keep our pool beautiful and functioning properly. I still can't believe Steve made time to help us out like that over a holiday weekend! He answered other questions we had and is very knowledgeable about all things pools, clearly. Honestly the pool business is a tricky business. There is so much dishonesty and games played. I have gone through at least 5 different pool services who said they had my back when In actuality did not really care about my pool or my pocket book. All you pool owners out there can really relate with me. Fast forward, my pool was so thick with slime and algae and it happened so fast that my hands were completely tied. Not only did they confirm their arrival two days in advance, they also responded when they were 30 minutes away. They also gave us an accurate quote, and let us know what exactly was wrong with our pool. In 20 minutes we had not only a solution, but we had a fixed pool. They are also only about $20 more than our previous pool services, but they do almost 100% more than the others. He was very nice, very thorough and very Understanding to our situation.
