These guys are amazing! My husband has a Samsung s4. His screen was completely demolished and the phone wouldn't even turn on! He took his phone to payless wireless thinking there was nothing they could do to salvage it, but somehow they managed to get his phone back to brand new condition!! It has been about 5 months now and his phone is still in perfect working condition! Some time after my husband broke his phone, my Samsung s3 started dying out. It was pretty old and I had dropped it several times so it had significant cracks on the screen including one over the camera. My phone would die if it were away from its charger for about 10 mins, so I pretty much didn't have a phone for 2 months. I cannot begin to describe how amazing this place is. I've had really bad luck with my new Galaxy S7. They were the only ones who knew how to replace the camera lens when it broke shortly after purchasing it. The cost was minimal and it was done in 15 minutes. When I returned a week later with a completely ruined (by water) phone they spent two days taking it apart to diagnose and gave me many options for repair and replacement. They were very clear in letting me know if they could not repair it back to 100% functionality I would not be charged. Long story short my phone was a total loss after 48 hours of painstaking work for these guys. They kindly saved all of the information in my phone, transferring it to another memory card for a small fee. These guys are nothing short of amazing, kind and resourceful. Wow! Highly recommend this establishment!! None of my chargers were working on my cell, couldn't figure it out! My husband googled phone repair and we went to Payless wireless. My husband mentioned he had just called previously, the employee said let me have my tech look at this and I'll be right back. Recently, I paid a visit to Payless Wireless due to a hardware error with my MacBook Air. Beforehand, I had paid a visit to the Apple Store to get it fixed. However, I was quoted $280 and was expected to wait an inexpressible amount of time. Moreover, I was required to back-up my hard drive; therefore, I decided to consider other options. They fixed my mother board on my iPhone 6Plus 128GB in minutes!! My iPhone was having issues with the touch which required me to twist the phone so I can unlock the swipe. Eventually I ended up twisting it so many times it cracked the screen. Hoping it was the screen that was causing the issue I went and had my screen replaced by Icrack... After they replaced the screen my phone was unusable but it would power on but the touch display didn't work at all now. The guy at Icrack said it could possibly be the mother board and the only way to fix it was to buy a new mother board. A new mother board is over $400! I then took it over to Apple and since Icrack replaced my screen it voided my warranty. By then I was screwed! For the past 8 months I've been driving with my unusable iPhone in my center console. Hoping to one day come across a mother board somehow. Until one day I was curious to know if the mother board itself can be fixed.. Randomly searching online I came across cellular wireless. John informed me the direct issue that is wrong with my motherboard and let me know that they can fix it no problem with a warranty! I honestly still was very doubtful until they proved me wrong. Bless this place with all my heart!! I came in with my Lenovo laptop because the keyboard and touchpad just completely stopped working. I'd never dropped it and have never spilled anything on it either so I had no idea what could've happened. At first they told me it would be anywhere from $45-$98. A couple days ago I got my iPhone stolen so I just spent a good chunk of my money on getting a new phone (plus a broke college student) so hearing $98 was rough especially with my crappy week going on. They told me that they would take a look at it and help me as best as they could. I only waited for about 15 minutes and they told me there was a problem with the connection of the laptop parts, but they knew how to fix it. They brought me back my laptop and when I asked them how much I owed them, he said not to worry about it. I'm not joking when I say the people here made my week 110x better. I had cricket service and was looking for a better service so I found this shop and went in and asked if they had virgin. The Arab guy said he did, I wanted to change my phone number over and he said no problem, he said he wouldn't charge me. He then tried to sell me a old flip phone for $40 dollars that wouldn't charge, then he went and got different batteries and phones and found one that he said was superior to the one he just showed me. It was starting to get shady. I waited around for 2.5 hours and he told me that I would have to come back tommorow and pick up the other phone and that when I came back he would get me going. Well I was very frustrated from him taking forever the day before and wasting my time, I decided that the next day if I went in to the shop and he made me wait again I would take my service elsewhere. I went in and he was on the phone and was the only one working there. He said I have your phone it's ready and got back on the phone, I said I need to get my phone and get back to work so we need to finish everything now. He said ok,and stayed on the phone and I again said we need to do this right now because I need to go. He just sat there. I then said lets just cancel this deal. and He said rudely "Your Loss" What a jerk. Terrible customer service and they don't take care of there customers. I went down El Cajon Blvd going west and found a Boost mobile store and talked to A manager named Miguel, he got me set up in about an hour, helpful courteous. I even payed$35 more but it was worth being treated like a human being. read more

I would give it less but I am unable too. Did not do a job as well as promised. Took my phone (Note 3) into get screen repaired because it had a single crack from previous owner. Coming into this place I read good reviews and believed they were right for the job. When first talking to one the empylees, he sounded confident, professional and friendly when explaining how to help me with my situation. They charged me 70$ to repair the screen and told me it would take 3 hours to repair. When I came back to pick up my phone they seemed to just be playing and joking around with each and when I asked if my phone was ready for pick up they seemed to have forgotten completely. They asked if I could come back in 2 more hours and it should be ready. 2 hours later I came back in hopes that it will be ready and luckly it was but already I was not asked or offered anything to compensate for my extra wait time. Upon getting my phone I realized that the home button was not working properly. I just assumed it was just some getting use to for the time being but sadly enough still not working as it should, the screen recracked with everyday use and when I went back to complain I was met with poor and unsatisfying customer service, from both cashier and manager. When asked if they will do anything about the poor job they did on my phone, the manager said that I was lying and would not stop repeating how they are #1 in San Diego and any other place is trash compared to them. Overall WOULD NOT RECOMMEND to anyone, you are better off throwing your money away then giving it to this rude, unhelpful, unprofessional business. read more

I really want to thank this company for being honest and keeping it's integrity. I brought in my daughter's Iphone 6s that she had dropped in water. Because of the policy that if they can't fix it there will be no charge, I decided we didn't have anything to lose by bringing it to Payless Wireless. I talked to John and he said the phone was dead but the technician really wanted to work on it. It was like a challenge and after many hours and days, although they were able to restore the data, the phone wasn't to the point that it would be a dependable phone anymore that my daughter could rely on. I talked to Nassef ( not sure If I have the spelling right) and he was just so understanding. I felt so bad that they had put so much time and effort into trying to get it right for us but they just gave us her phone back and didn't charge us a thing. It's not often you find company's you can trust but I would not hesitate in coming here for any future needs or to refer my friends and family to them.
