My order with PayMore was accepted and payment processed, but they (Matawan location or processing warehouse in New Jersey) abruptly canceled it days later without any explanation or outreach. This reflects poorly on PayMore's internal processes and customer service standards. A simple explanation would have been appropriate. An absolute waste of time, horrible customer service, and an all around insult of an experience. Prior to traveling the hour commute to the tip of Brooklyn from Chelsea, I'd called and was explicit and transparent about the iPhone XS Max 512gig in perfect condition I was selling. Was forthcoming that phone was carrier locked by spectrum and rep said that they'd still take it and would not get less than 550 for the phone. Hoping for 700, I trekked to Brooklyn where I was first waited on by a man who was insistent that the iPhone 11 was coming out in 8 weeks and even showed me a render of a LEAKED PROJECTION ON THE INTERNET...laughable. But the joke was his offer of 350 offer for a phone that retails for 1500. Disgusting!!!!! He called, whom he referenced as a the "owner," who showed up not long after and enforced the robbery of an offer but said he'd go up to 395 for the miscommunication. The worst experience I've had in a long time, and would strongly suggest anyone looking to engage in any business transaction with this company to, by any means necessary, avoid their horrifically shady business practices and look elsewhere. My son bought a damaged Phone ,from this (pawn shop,)he brought it back for them to repair it after Two weeks of them holding the phone claiming they sent it out to be fixed it was still damaged, the phone never left the store and no one tried to fix it , they were trying to keep the phone and his money!!! Ugh.. Lesson learned..ALWAYS LISTEN TO YELP I can not agree more with Christopher V. and Anon A., DO NOT COME HERE. This place is a terrible representative of T-mobile. I am utterly disgusted with the business and can not believe it is still running. I came with my older brother in hopes of upgrading to the new Samsung Galaxy S6. Once we told the salesperson, Jacob, he quickly got out the paper works and started calling T-mobile. Thats a bad sign already. Shouldnt I be at least offered the knowledge of the new advances in the S6? So hes on the phone with T-mobile making the deal, asks me what color I want. I reply back "what color is there?" He says "get gold, gold is a good color." speaks to the phone "yeah she wants gold" I say "wait!! Do not get me gold yet. I dont even know what it looks like." After multiple times of me asking to see the gold version, He finally gives in and takes our the Gold S6 so I can view it. Once i decided the color, he quickly rushes my brother to sign the documents. and once the documents are signed, then he tells us I have to wait till tomorrow 10am to get the phone. WAIT WHAT?! you rush me this whole time, barely even explained anything to me (the jump upgrade, leasing the phone..) and now you tell me I have to wait?! My brother and I did not like their business, and said we want to cancel the order and go to the actual Tmobile retail store just a couple blocks down in Bay Parkway. Jacob goes on to say "Bay Parkway doesnt have in stock. No t-mobile has the gold in stock. and you cant cancel the order, it will take 24 hours for it to cancel so it doesnt make a difference to go to the other Tmobile store." Now my brother and I knows hes LYING. how does a Tmobile retail store run out of stock of the Glaxay S6? My brother calls the Bay parkway Tmobile store, and they tell us they DO have it in stock and in Gold. So theres LIE #1. Lie #2: he says he cant cancel the order. My brother threaten to call the corporate and get it done. Jacob finally gives in calls T-mobile and we were easily able to cancel the order. This business is absolute unethical and providing false advertisement to customers. Please please do not come here, because they will steal your money. PS. I also another customer who was in desperate of saving money on her plan, but the other sales associate kept saying "no" to her and just leaned on the shelves smirking. This is a shitty place!! Scammers!!! They tried to sell me a TMOBILE sim card for $35 and I told him no it was only $25 on the tmobile website. And he said it only cost $25 if you buy a new phone. Then he proceed to show me a SIM card. It was a USED SIM card ! A new one will not be ripped from the actual big card that it comes with. I said no thank you and started to walk out. I normally don't write complains about bad experience. I understand all business is difficult to run.on top of that , we need to respect all people who work for customer services. But this is absolutely ridiculous!!!! I don't know how they are still open and I even want to stop using T-Mobile because of these people who work there ! I walked in and asked them to suspend my service for a month because I'm going away . Despite there were no customers ,I still didn't get a greeting .all I got was a weird glance from two guys standing behind the desk. They asked me what carrier I use.i was shocked because if I use other company why would I ever walk in to ask them to suspend my "Verizon "service . I politely nicely said "T-Mobile ." And this is exactly what one of the guys told me " do it yourself !just call 611!" I was like "okay ,but can you unlock my phone? " they didn't say yes or no. Just proceeded to ask what type of phone I use .i told them I use iPhone 6s Plus .not that I'm trying to be judgmental,but I'm holding my rose gold phone right on my hand with a clear case .if you sell phones,you should know only the 6s serious have rose gold color . And I got no response.they told me to wait. I waited for five minutes.the same guy asked me again "what kind of phone do you have ?" I looked at him,smiled and answered : 6s plus . He was like "hold on ." So I waited Again. Five minutes later ,the other guy asked me AGAIN "WHAT CARRIER DO YOU USE?" I answered really nicely ,T-Mobile ! He said oh right . Then the other guy who told me to wait seriously asked me AGAIN "do you have 6 or 6s?" I was about to lose my patience .however ,I just need to get things done so I answered again,6s plus . Of course he said wait. And of course I waited again. Five minutes later ,he looked at me in the eye and said "120!" I was not reacting to his word "120" . He looked at me as I'm really stupid .he raised his voice and said "120!" I was seriously shocked .i said " you mean it's 120 dollars to unlock my T-Mobile iPhone in a T-Mobile store? " he did not answer me ,just nodded . I was like no ,I'm not doing it . I'm never a cheap person ,unwilling to pay for service .but I've unlocked my T-Mobile phones couple of times for free in the retailer store and unlocked some other phones in regular computer store for 30 dollars . I'm not throwing my hard earned money like this to these arrogant unprofessional assholes . Guess what ,as soon as I said no .they both gave me a dirty look as I walked out of the store .i mean ,seriously ?
