[[HIGHLIGHT]]Spacious dance floor for dancing and socializing, ample seating for a large group although ours was a small intimate group.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Reed, the manager stayed in the room throughout the entire event, helped us with whatever was needed and the 3 staff members took such good care of us throughout the entire event . My guests absolutely loved the experience and the food was fantastic. They have a variety of drink options, including signature cocktails and beers. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The guests loved the photobooth and cowboy ambience. Pictures came out so good with the bull/ hats /feather scarf etc provided by them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Its a great location with ample parking available for special event guests. PBR is a Cowboy style bar located within Sports & Social. They play all different kinds of music not just country. I love the cowboy theme of this bar. It's carried through with gorgeous cow skin seats in the VIP bottle service areas. The staff was very kind and engaged professionally with everyone. They have hired entertaining staff who get bar goers hype dancing throughout the bar and even in the bull pen. The mechanical Bull is definitely a popular attraction here ! We don't have that really anywhere in DT Raleigh. I attended the 90's Throwback Jam and event and it became extremely crowded. Partygoers really packed the venue and it was a movie. Perfect for anyone celebrating a birthday or looking to have a good time while in town. If you like to dance, this is the place for you. There is rooftop seating where you can escape the madness of the dance floor. I like that Sports and Social offers the other 3 floors where you can break away from the crowds and venture off to other levels where you can pace yourself or find your vibe. read more

PBR was one of the bars part of the Mimosa Fest. The staff here are amazing and provided great customer service. The mimosa I enjoyed the most was at the PBR bar. It was the Trailer Park Mimosa - fizzy passion fruit/papaya and pineapple juice. Very tasty and one of the larger drinks on the list. I enjoyed it. PBR was less crowded than other areas in the fest and the people I met here had a comfortable couch where we sat to enjoy our drinks and the live music. read more

This place is insane! In the best way. I finally got around to line dancing night. So much fun. Me and my friends didn't know what to expect, it was our first time. Line dancing boot camp is 10 dollars at the door. The instructor teaches you 4 or 5 line dances and then when the class is over the let in the public and everyone dances the whole night. We had a blast. I was so tired and my feet hurt but it was worth it. The staff was so nice and everyone there is willing to help you out if you get lost. This is our new spot to do some great dancing! read more

Not sure what the harsh criticism is all about. Loosen your panties people. Went there with a few friends last weekend and had a blast. It's new and jammed packed so it's expected that service would be slow but they were doing there best. The music selection was great - a little something for everyone. The crowd looked like they were having a great time. Please don't change the music. So glad that Cary now has a place like this. We will be back this weekend! read more

i ordered a double makers and got a 2 oz pour. i paid $24 for 2 ounces of makers!!! i even asked the bartender, Kaitlyn why she poured me 2 oz instead of the standard double and she said that she jiggers it..? im a bartender so that definitely upset me here. Disappointed isn't even a strong enough sentiment. We were so excited to have a night out listening to country music while wearing cowboy boots. Sadly the DJ did not get the memo that this was a COWBOY bar. Despite the many people that also dusted off their cowboy boots, pearl snap shirts and fancy hats I heard ONE country song in an hour. Do not be fooled; this is a desperate housewife/sad suburbia bar playing terrible pop music. Like terrible pop music. If you're not going to play country music please change your marketing gimmick. read more

10 out of 10. We celebrated a birthday at PBR with a party of 16. The team at PBR was amazing. They went well beyond expectations to ensure we had a great time. We reserved a table upstairs in the cowboy bar but didn't have a reservation downstairs. The manager was able to find us a space in the lounge and offered our group some complimentary appetizers which was very nice and very unexpected. Bar tender in the lounge was very friendly and took great care of us. When we arrived upstairs, they had a great table set up for us with balloons, our cake, and everything we would need. I recently got married at PBR and it was truly perfect! Jennifer V. and the staff working our reception were absolutely amazing. Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure everything was in place leading up to the wedding. We originally were going to hold the ceremony/reception at AVA, but due to weather we had to move to PBR the day before. Everyone was so helpful with the weather situation and Jennifer made sure everything went smoothly. The food was incredible and our guests had the best time as well. Sports and social also helped us book our DJ, Jimmy, who was incredible. Highly recommend for a wedding/reception or any event! read more
