I never leave reviews but Tony deserves this review. I called Tony a little after he opened this morning. He was the first computer repair tech that answered and I called about 4 before him, so I had to give him my business. My daughter's school told me she broke a school Chromebook and I would have to pay $250. Tony told me to come down so he could take a look at it. When I got to Tony's place of business, he took care of me right away. After inspecting the Chromebook, Tony told me that my daughter could have never broke the Chromebook with what the school said she did. He then proceeded to write me an invoice explaining the problem so that the school would understand that it is not my daughter's fault. Just to let you know Tony it worked. Thank you very much again for your help. If I ever run into a computer problem or anybody I know has computer problems I will definitely refer Tony. read more

Tony & the guys that work there are simply the best! My wife and I walked in there with a messed up computer. We sat down at their nice comfortable PC bar and they took care of all of our computer problems in less than 30 minutes while we waited! Very friendly, personable guys who definitely know their stuff, treat you great and have super reasonable prices! Great service like this is rarity these days! They told us that they even have a remote repair service available. If you want them to log on to your computer from a different location like from your home office for instance you just call them up and they can instruct you how to log onto this secure site where it gives them temporary access to your computer from miles away so they can fix it remotely. I took my Asus laptop in because the C: drive was full. Additionally I didn't have a good back-up system in place (other than using Carbonite in the cloud). Their initial proposal was to install a larger hard drive. Ali talked to me about a wireless back-up system that I could do for both our desktop & my laptop. That was out of my budget, so he recommended an external drive. He told me that Costco or Sam's Club had good prices and to go get one there & bring it back. The next day, he called to tell me that my hard drive had been partitioned at some point and I did have enough storage. He re-partitioned my hard drive to give more space to the C: drive, and set up a back-up to the new external drive. I was super impressed because they could have sold me an external drive for back-up that would have cost me more money and could have gone ahead with a new hard drive as originally discussed ($80). Instead, they didn't try to make extra money on me, but did the right, professional thing. My lap top was ready the next evening. I will definitely recommend them! And will go back for the wireless back-up once my budget allows. read more

This review is wayyy overdue! I thought I had done one immediately following my great experience but apparently I hadn't. I found this place from Yelp and I can see why it had great reviews. I took my daughters (fairly new) laptop that the screen had been accidentally broken on a school trip. The laptop wasn't working well because the screen was also a touchscreen. Walked in... cool laid back atmosphere. You get the sense of great vibes amongst the team. I left the laptop and what luck that they called within the hour to tell me not only could they fix it but they had the screen on hand! If I ever have any problems with any PCs, or laptops I'll just bring it to PC Parlor! read more

Tony and his team are the BEST...! I had another place install a new battery several weeks ago in my laptop. Since then the battery slowly lost its juice and wouldn't recharge. Took it to Tony, he checked it out, and said to leave it with him for an hour or two. When I returned, the battery had a full charge. He simply cleaned the battery's contact points...no charge...! I was having cooling fan issues with my laptop and figured I'd just take it in to the Best Buy geek squad to take a look at it (since that's where I bought it from). The guy at the counter told me it'd take a week just to send it out to their technical site to evaluate it. He recommended I just take it to a local shop instead. So I did a quick Yelp search, found PC Parlor a block away and with great reviews. Got there and Ali opened up my laptop, showed me where some internal plastic pieces broke off and got in the system cooling fan. He used an air blaster to get all the broken pieces out, screwed back on the cover and the laptop started right up. Best thing is he didn't charge me. Felt is was appropriate to come out of my near 3 year review hiatus to give a shout out to Tony, Ali, Autumn and the rest of the gang at PC Parlor. Unexpectedly, my 2011 MacBook Pro shut down and completely stopped working. It wouldn't even start. After taking it to the Apple Store, they ran diagnostic tests and confirmed my inkling that my hard drive was failing. The genius bar employee that helped me said there were places that do data recovery, but Apple does not provide this service. He offered to replace my hard drive, but all my files would be lost. Thus began my yelp search. I found PC Parlor to have great reviews and they even offered a free quote via yelp so I sent them a message. Within a few hours, Tony had messaged me back with some optimistic news that they have a good track record with data recovery, as well as a reasonable price quote to provide this service. I was sold. I took my MacBook Pro to them and was introduced to Ali, one of the computer technicians. He explained to me the process and steps he would take to attempt to recover my files, as well as possible alternatives should he not be able to. That same day, he called me back saying he was able to fully recover all of my files. Furthermore, Ali went above and beyond saying he could replace my damaged hard drive and reinstall all my files, documents, music, and pictures. Basically, he restored my laptop as if the hard drive never failed. I had to configure some general settings and what not, but that was minor and didn't take very long. Like many people here, I called PC Parlor because of all of the good things people have said. We had issue with our carbonite backup and our previous technician was not able to resolve the issue. Tony from PC Parlor came in. He was able to identify the issue within 10 minutes after looking at the server. Since then, I've been telling my coworker that he is a Genius. Last week, we had a new issue with our server backup so we called to make appointment. Autumn from their office was able to help schedule the appointment after hours as our store is closed at 5 PM. She is a sweetheart. When Ali was going to be couple minutes behind schedule, she called to inform us too. She was very friendly, super helpful and prompt. Ali is a Superman. He came in, asked couple questions and went straight to work! He was so fast and efficient. He cleared up our full-disk backup issue and he also helped to setup a secondary local backup. He added more memories to our server to make it faster. He even cleaned and dusted our super filthy server! That server has not been cleaned up in over 4 years! And he was dusting them up in the middle of darkness outside of the store! I feel pissed off at our old technician who never even offered this service after so many years. When the backups were setup, Ali said that he would call again tomorrow to resume the work remotely over the phone. Unlike other service people, I really really appreciate that he wouldn't just wait around to increase service time. I feel that I am working with a very trustworthy person and company. I brought my wife's computer into PC Parlor because it booted and ran very slow. What impressed me was they knew exactly what the problem was. After we got the computer to boot up they explained in detail what was wrong and how to fix it. I picked it up the next day and now it run like new !! Excellent service and staff. My laptop was acting up so I brought it in. Of course, when I opened it there it was working fine, but Tony strongly urged me to go home immediately and back up my computer. It's a good thing I did because the following day, the computer stopped rebooting all together. I left the computer with them for diagnostics and they were able to find the hard-drive cable was malfunctioning and promptly replaced the $25 part! First mistake is that I tried Best Buy's Geek Squad first. They quoted me $180 and 2 weeks for repairs. Second mistake is that I didn't come to PC Parlor first. They are extremely friendly, professional and helpful, especially for someone not tech savvy like me. They do all they can to make repairs before offering replacement parts. My wife spilled water on her Dell laptop yesterday. I brought it in and I am showed it to Tony the owner. He told me my options so I went to Best Buy and bought an external hard drive. I brought the laptop back and he helped me transfer my wife's data to the hard drive. He also opened up the laptop to look for water damage and also showed me how to automatically back up data to the external hard drive. He did not charge me anything and also offered me a lovely Pellegrino! I was easily there for an hour. Tony is very nice guy and has excellent customer service. Highly recommended. I had a Toshiba laptop that I really liked, but would not power up. I did my research on the web, and after opening it up, trying a reset, removing battery and hard drive, testing power adapter, I was not successful. I concluded it was a bad motherboard. Decided to give a pro workshop a chance to diagnose and after they did their testing, said I likely had a bad motherboard. They said they could fix the motherboard, but probably better to spend dollars on a new laptop. I appreciate their honesty and professionalism. read more

Ok, this place was awesome! Thanks to the pandemic I basically live off of my laptop for work and needless to say, this bad boy was putting in hours on hours of unpaid overtime. As fate would have it, my laptop's battery went on strike and blew up like a balloon - it looked like a stuffed ravioli. PC Parlor is knowledgeable, honest and quick. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. They are the best PC Repair place I've used. I had my 5 year old high end PC torn apart doing some various upgrades/maintenance. I'd installed a new wireless card and was seeing a new screen during the boot and booting failed. After trying to fix the PC for half a day I decided to have someone who does this for a living fix it. I was afraid of losing all my programs (my data was 100% backed up but I didn't want to lose all the software I've purchased). So, I buttoned up the partially disassembled PC and looked online for a repair shop. PC Parlor appeared in the reviews. They were EXACTLY what I was looking for. Not only did they fix the boot problem, they found and fixed the Graphics card which was running very hot due to a stuck fan (would have cost me over $200 to replace), replaced a hard-to-reach internal chassis fan, cleaned up the SATA drive cables (5 total), and finished the installation of a 4 port motherboard to rear chassis panel I'd left unplugged when the problems started. I've been involved with computers for 40 years and have built or had built 10's of computers for myself, family and friends over the years. PC Parlor is the best repair store I've ever used. read more
