3 days after I installed window 10, my wifi stopped working. I did a diagnostic run, it showed a message of network card cable whatever is broken. I called PC Parlor and spoke to Tony. He immediately told me the was new window compatibility issue. I revered the window back to original one and still not working. I brought my computer to PC parlor and Tony asked me to check the computer with him. !!!! wifi was working somehow. Tony did not charge me for his time and was a honest guy. Another repair place could just easily charge me to replace a new network card. I will not hesitate to contact this place again if I need computer assistant. read more

I dropped my laptop which caused it to make a loud, high pitched sound while running but it seemed to be working fine. The noise was obnoxious though so I called Tony and told him what happened. He explained that the fall could have either damaged my motherboard or it could have just caused dust to be knocked into my fan. He suggested that I first try getting some air duster and spray it in the ventilation areas of my laptop to get rid of dust. He said that if this didn't work then to come bring it in to have him take a look. I did just as he suggested with air duster and it worked. No more obnoxious noise. I had called a few other places before calling him and none of them offered any kind of advice. They only said to bring it in. I really appreciate that Tony gave me that advice and saved me time (and saved me from coming in and charging me for something I could've done myself - which I wouldn't be surprised if those other repair shops would've tried to charge me for). Very good service. I emailed Tony late Saturday and he replied right away. Told him the problem with my MacBook and said to come in first thing Monday. Went in and Anthonie was helpful and gave me two options. Either replace hard drive for 70+ labor 75 or send out my old HD to get it rebuilt and recover data for about 800 or more depending. Oh my goodness they're such lifesavers! Upgrading the graphics card was easy...or so we thought. They helped us with our novice mistake of plugging the monitor to the old 15-pin instead of plugging in to our newly installed graphics card and VIOLA!...we have visual. For non-techies like us --- we thought we broke the computer. But thanks to PC Parlor, they schooled us on our novice mistake and sent us along without charging us. Immediately after I paid $75 for their "service", my computer - that had been working fine, no issues whatsoever- I receive it back no longer working. I initially took in my 4-year old MacBook Pro that had been operating at a snail's pace for a while. After a brief diagnosis by Anthonie it was determined that my 500 GB hard drive was at capacity, so I went ahead and had a 1TB hard drive installed and got my computer returned to me the same day (FAST!). It was suggested that if I really wanted to enhance the performance of my MacBook Pro, I should consider a solid state hard drive along with more RAM. After a few weeks, I decided that I wanted to make my computer sing at an even faster pace so I returned my MacBook Pro to have Tony upgrade my hard drive to a 1TB Solid State hard drive along with increasing my memory to 8GB of RAM. My laptop feels like it's brand new!! The turnaround time for the upgrade work was a couple of hours and I couldn't be happier! I will never have my out-of-warranty Mac computers serviced anywhere but PC Parlor in the future. Friendly staff let me bring my dogs in the shop and gave them water as well. read more

PC Parlor is the best computer repair shop I have ever been to. I called the other day because my 2014 Macbook Pro i7 out of nowhere wouldn't boot up. My Macbook is my life with everything on it and of course... I didn't have a backup. After freaking out and thinking that my world had ended as I know it, I called PC Parlor and they told me to come on over. From the time I got there the entire experience was exceptional. There were no sales tactics only help, support, and clear communication. My laptop had some bad sectors on the hard drive. Luckily, it did not have any viruses. They backed up the data and replaced the hard drive and I got my laptop back in 2 days. My Dell XPS8900 PC stopped working 11/18. Initially, it started up ok, left PC ON during breakfast, then returned. I moved the mouse and monitor did not light up. The PC power switch button was lit white (ON) So. I did a hard shutdown by pressing and holding power button down till it shut off. I called PC Parlor, spoke with Tony. Tony gave me troubleshooting steps and we concluded that I needed to bring it in. I took it in around 10:15am, spoke to Ivan, filled out repair form. You know the feeling "this us going to cost a lot, you're at the mercy of them " Well, the excellent Yelp reviews is why I went there. I am the "tech-y" among my friends and family. The one folks go to for advice on all things computer, internet, electronics, mechanical, etc. I have been into technology most all my life and have repaired, tinkered, and built a few computers in my time. So what to do when I have my own computer problems?! Take it to PC Parlor! My computer which handled all my security cameras recently went down. It typically runs 24/7, but then it suddenly it would not boot up. I did some initial diagnosis, but I was going out of town and just did not want to deal with it. My hard drive stopped working and I didn't have everything backed up yet (stupid, I know). I was really bummed about the most recent pictures and videos. Had a new self-build running laggy and wanted to swap out my old HDDs for new SSDs with a clone of the old hard drives and a RAID 0 set up.
