From Tony, to Yesenia, to all the other employees whom I only glimpsed from the back of their heads, PC Parlor delivers what it promises! I had given up on my laptop and purchased another one but hated the new one because I knew that the fix for the older one was not impossible and probably a pretty easy thing. At least that's what my husband kept saying. When I complained about the new one for the umpteenth time, my husband said just find a place to fix it. I checkout out Yelp and found PC Parlor. I went there, enjoyed meeting Yesenia and left my laptop there. I got a call which quoted me a very reasonable price but I was conflicted, to give up a new laptop for an old loved one seemed a bit too silly and sentimental. I picked up my old laptop and did not have it fixed. I went home. Changed my mind. Brought it back, and, voila! All fixed and with no raised eyebrows at this silly woman who couldn't make up her mind! These guys are great. They are highly professional. I took my Dell 1464 to them, all of a sudden it wouldn't bootup. Ali took a look at my laptop and diagnosed that the power button was not working, he fixed it. I was greatly relieved. A week ago I went to another computer repair center and the guy over there told me that my mother board was dead. I came to PC Parlor only with the hope of getting data out from my hard drive, but ended up saving my laptop. Yesenia in scheduling was so kind and understanding- she confirmed the service call all the way through completion (which, because I was being the liaison with my mom from another location, took more than half a dozen calls and emails). I'm doing so because the service I received at PC Parlor was so exemplary and so far above my expectations, I felt compelled to share with others the outstanding customer service I experienced by Tony, the owner, and Ivan. I am somewhat of a computer novice and often uncomfortable discussing technological issues that I cannot articulate well. They were both so knowledgeable, easy going and friendly while at the same time displaying such professionalism that I never felt intimidated or that I was asking a "stupid" question. Unbelievable customer service. I had issues with computer being hacked. The hackers said nobody can fix the bugs they infected my computer with unless I paid them. Without a doubt the best computer shop around! I went in on the recommendation of a good friend, but with reservations, and came out a firm believer -- knowing I finally found a local shop that could handle not only my personal home needs, but the 15 systems of my law firm. Everything from cabling to printers, PCs and Mac, they do it all. My direct interaction at the shop had been with Ali, but while there I had the pleasure of meeting Eric, and shop owner Tony who has no qualms about giving you a taste of his NY attitude (jokingly of course.) Ali saved my life by recovering the data off my crashed hard drive even when two previous shops (no names mentioned) had failed. It could have cost thousands if I had sent it out to one of those data recovery places, but for an incredibly reasonable price, and in just a few days, I had all my data back! As if that weren't enough to make me a believer, Ali, backed by Eric and Tony was adamant about me not spending any money on fixing the old laptop I had brought in. They could have taken my money, done some repairs, and given me back an old clunker, but instead their honesty convinced me to take the money I would have spent and go out and buy a new one. I've been a tech for 15 years and in IT for 20 and made the lazy mistake of using an ancient drive in my tower without backing that thing up. So of course it failed. Thought it would cost me my 401k to recover it but i came into this place with my wife and got chewed out, mocked and ridiculed for about 10 mins. (what, your a tech and you didn't back up your data? what kind of man are you..yadda yadda.) My wife was happy cause they fed her chocolate and sweets the whole time. She went back the next day to pick up the drive and they even gave me a huge discount and sold me a two terabyte drive for the effort. Very Nice! ( though my wife says it was a morons discount so...) These guys are REGULAR GUYS! True tech's like I used to work with, and it was like being home. Excellent service, no upsale or anything like that. I needed help fast because my SSD drive was about full and would not operate or take anymore updates, etc. After looking at reviews of the local computer services in Torrance, I contacted Tony at PCParlor because of so many positive reviews and the proximity to my residence. I dropped my computer off on Monday and they contacted me early the next day to let me know the install of a larger SSD drive was completed and I could pick it up anytime. Today the Guys at PC Parlor were my saviors. My mom, age 75, locked herself out of her computer during an update. She spent 3 hours on the phone with the Samsung tech's to find out that they couldn't reset the password without a disk. Eric has set up two PCs for me now. The first was in 2010 and the second now in April of 2017. The first PC finally suffered a motherboard failure and it was time to get a new one. Eric did an excellent job of setting up the new PC, transferring all of my files and tutoring me as to the location of my old files in addition to providing a tutorial on the changes involved with Windows 10. He has also interceded twice over the years and addressed remotely issues with my PC, one of which was a bad iTunes update. Eric, Tony and the entire team are to be commended.
