Dropped off my deskstop because I was getting an error with my hard drive. Ivan helped me out and tried to fix the current Hard Drive but it was faulty and had to put and install a new one. Ivan added a new hard drive and install the windows 10 and got my computer working again. Luckily most of my stuff was in the cloud/ steam cloud. I brought my laptop here last year. It was from 2015 and still running on Windows 7 (LOL!) but I was glad to find Tony and he was able to make it run like it is new! His price is very reasonable and definitely worth not buying a new one! Just this week, I called him to inquire how much it would cost to help me install Microsoft Office as I was having trouble doing it myself. I appreciate that he didn't encourage me to bring it and pay his rate just to do an install. Others would have probably taken the job just to make money off of me. :) He advised me over the phone and also sent a follow up thru Yelp's messaging, and I was finally able to install Office successfully. My wife's laptop died, so I brought it to these gentlemen. Turned out that one of the chips on the motherboard has shorted out. They said the only replacement motherboard that was available would require a downgrade of the processor so we had to give up on it. Located off Madison between Skypark and PCH. Look for the flag for the driveway. Once you enter you are greeted by the workers. Tell them your issue and or show them they will look at it and suggest what may need to be done. As for me my main issue was my slow running hard drive in my mid 2012 MacBook Pro which I love and did not want to part and buy a new Mac so they suggested I switch it out for an SSD flash drive which I did I got the 1TB which they had available they installed and copied all my data and updated the software. Although I had to leave it for a day it was worth it. I have more storage and a faster start up and shut down. The staff here is very nice and helpful I recommend this place for your laptop needs. My PC was overheating and after doing all of my own diagnostics I knew that it had to be the liquid cooling pump that had broken. Now I had to have called at least 8 of the shops in the South Bay and Long Beach area, and every single one of them wanted to charge me to run their own diagnostics and then the labor on top of it. Why would you want to pay someone when you know exactly what the problem was?! Plus almost every shop said it would take multiple days with diagnosis and then labor. Thankfully I found PC Parlor because Tony was awesome I brought in my PC and new pump and he finished it up in an hour. Plus he added the extra fans I had from the old and new coolers for better air circulation without me asking! No extra fees, no long wait time, no nonsense. I waited 6 months to make sure there were no issues and this is the only review I've ever done PC Parlor and Tony deserve it. I'been struggling with my old laptop for some time : first the battery failed , then the portion of the keyboard stopped working , but since I needed to use it daily and couldn't afford to leave it to fix somewhere for a few days , I simply bought the additional portable keyboard and kept using it (struggling ) . Until I found this place. They looked into it and sincerely told me that it's better to get a new laptop instead of fixing the old one and that they can transfer all the information into the new laptop easily ( this is partially why I have never purchased the new laptop , I had so much important data in the old one that I couldn't afford of losing or didn't know how to transfer :..) I brought in my old laptop (from 2004) & an old internal hard drive to see if they could extract the data and they actually managed to get some out despite the hard drives being scratched up. (Still unsure as to how that happened.) I spoke mainly with Tony and he and his crew were knowledgeable, friendly, & fast! (Well, fast considering how old/damaged the hard drives were. It took about a week per hard drive but it's honestly a miracle that they were able to get as much data as they did and I'm so glad they allowed so much time for extraction.)
