We are a military family who moves frequently, and I have a daughter who has multiple specialists due to her complex medical conditions. Dr. Bruno is hands down the best doctor I've encountered. She is the only doctor at her practice and as such is able to deliver top notch medical care. She follows through with what she says she is going to do which is extremely important to me, and she is accessible and responsive when I need to get ahold of her for medical situations that arise. She has impressed me with her knowledge and ability to handle my daughter's complex issues. Her office staff is wonderful too, and that really makes a difference (shoutout to Flo for being awesome). He's even saved a kids life where the parents thought they were bringing in their child due to the common cold(look it up!). Anyways, my favorite thing about Dr. Katz is that he has always been on my side, on my track and followed my mom instincts. As a new mom(2 years ago), I was always thinking about what I was doing wrong or what I could do to be better. But he always somehow boosted my confidence at all of Vance's appointments. He's always so positive and compliments my mothering. He has never ever told me; "do this" "don't do this" "you should do this" "never do that" ....I'm sure you get the point. But instead he would say things like; "well that's ok" "that seems right" "I don't see anything that I'm concerned with" "you're doing a great job mom!" With Vance, he is such a picky eater. Very much a texture kid. So I'm always concerned with him getting the right amount of food and nutrition. He DOES NOT eat fruits and veggies!! He's always been above average with his weight so that's not a concern. And Dr. Katz even clued me in on how half his kids are either great eaters or poor eaters. Never in between. So when he told me that I felt much better about our situation. He always seems to say the right thing and makes me feel reassured that I'm doing the best job that I can. I am currently pregnant and I know I will be seeing him in the hospital for my little one and continue to bring Vance into see him. He is such an amazing pediatrician. The whole experience was mentally tough as a parent but this place was designed for kids and it was very welcoming for kids. The receptionist was very kind and sweet. The whole medical staff was great. My daughter broke a bone and they let her pick the color of her splint. The care was very gentle, sweet, and caring'. If you want avoid being misdiagnosed and sent to purchase extremely costly medication that you need to throw away the next day, keep reading... I brought my daughter in with a fever and ear pain and was told she had an outer ear infection - by a P.A.. I see other reviews have complained about not even seeing a doctor and this was the case for us. We were prescribed ear drops that cost about $150 out of pocket even with PPO insurance (in addition to the cost we paid for the visit itself - $75). The next day, when her symptoms didn't improve, I returned--and the diagnosis curiously changed to both an outer and inner ear infection and she was then prescribed oral antibiotics. They said ear conditions can quickly change and evolve, which could be true. I still found this interesting with context the following day.. Still uneasy, I took her to her pediatrician the following day. After evaluation, we were told there were no signs of an outer ear infection at all, but rather a bilateral middle ear infection. We were instructed to stop the drops immediately, as they were not indicated. So within 48 hours, we received conflicting diagnoses and paid for a medication that was unnecessary (for us it was $150 for the drops, $75 for the visit, and $75 again for the second visit based on our insurance - a costly $300 situation) I reached out to the clinic with our situation to see if there was any type of reimbursement we could receive solely based on the fact that we had to literally drop throw away the drops after one day of use. Equally concerning was the clinic's handling of communication. The owner responded with multiple lengthy, condescending messages explaining basic medical concepts instead of addressing the core issue from a common sense perspective - and made no attempt to provide any real customer service. I'm talking about 14+ paragraph emails (insert the doctor equivalent of mansplaining here) their position instead of just addressing me as a repeat customer (she'll probably put an equally lengthy response here too lol). More seriously, the office contacted via email and even included our pediatrician in communications - literally forwarding my emails to them - without my explicit authorization. This raises significant concerns about patient privacy and potential HIPAA compliance issues. My pediatrician did not engage for this reason, and even called me concerned with their practices. While medical conditions can evolve, this situation reflects poor diagnostic clarity, highly condescending communication, and concerning privacy practices. I would not return to this clinic and recommend that other parents proceed with caution and consider alternative care.

I'm sad to say that I no longer trust this group with my child's care after discovering the abundance of unnecessary vaccines that were given which were not required in order to attend California public schools. Instead of vaccinating my child with vaccines that were mandated by the California public school system first, the physicians decided to prioritize other vaccines that were not mandated. Unfortunately, now I'm going to have to rush getting my child vaccinated with the required vaccines because the office does not know California Public school policies. Despite me verifying verbally at every visit that this was required for school, I was still misled. Moving forward I will not trust any office to tell me which vaccines are required for California public schools, I will research this myself. Tough lesson that I had to learn. In addition, all of our appointments with Dr. Reda felt very rushed. Any questions that I tried to ask he answered with one word versus having a more thorough explanation for a first time mom. I should have switched earlier, but stuck with him because no one else seemed to have a problem. Once I started asking around, I discovered that all of my friends that had referred me to the practice had left for the very same reasons. Wish this was something that I would've talked about sooner. I'm writing this in hopes that the office improves their vaccination schedules and communication. Although I've always been happy with the care and service the other pediatrician provided us; Dr Duda blows them all away! She spends time with the kids and has wonderful bedside manner. She exudes a family focused approach to care. And she never makes you feel rushed. The other physician, Dr Veely is also of the same level quality. They both listen, investigate concerns, and are just plain awesome. The support staff are friendly, always chatting positively and it's apparent that they love what they do and where they work. It's a nice setting and environment to bring your kids when they are feeling at their worst.
