When I finally took it out, one controller wouldn't actuate at all. Everything else was brand new and untouched. First I took just the controllers in. They asked if I had an extended warranty, I said no, but they told me it would still be okay if I brought the whole unit. So I went back a second time with the entire Switch. Then the guys acted like they'd never seen me or the stuff before. I asked for a manager and the duty supervisor showed up. He said the exchange looked good but refused anyway because of their 15-day policy. I showed my bank statement with the store number on it. Still no help. I asked for the regional manager's contact information and he handed me a Best Buy customer service card -- the same one I had already looked up while waiting for them to fumble around. Then I asked him to take my info and escalate it to his GM. He said he didn't have a number, told me to hold on, went to another desk, came back with a GM business card and said just email him because he gets customer emails all the time. I told him I asked for contact information, not just a number. He said "no you asked for his number." I said no, I asked for contact info, but thanks anyway and left. On top of everything, when I looked at the bad controller I noticed dry glue under the kickstand. Pretty sure it was refurbished and sold to me as new. I just bought a TV and extra controllers that are still in the return window. Those are going back Saturday. Too bad the scooter is just outside the date or it would be gone too. For a $25 controller this store just lost a loyal customer for good. I will never be back. Stay away from Store 177 if you don't want the headache and the runaround. 1 star.

Once i got home i looked closely at it just to find out the screen wasnt on all the way, there was dirt n debris under the screen as well as a DOG HAIR and the camera lens was dirty and smudged. I took it back immediately and asked for the problem to be fixed or a refund. She was rude and tried to gasloght me to thinking this was normal, she called me "ocd girl" and was acting irrational. She reluctantly agreed to redo it since she wasnt goin to refund me or give me a replacment screen( side note the screen my ipad was replaced with was visibly cheaper than the orginal apple screen). I came back a day later and picked my ipad up, the problems i showed were gone but now the side of the screen looks off. So I came out with a phone that would not take a charge or even turn on... If you have an iPhone that simply needs a new battery, save yourself a lot of grief and do NOT take it here. Take it instead to an Apple store.

Their customer service was quality throughout the process. I think the price was slightly too high, but not a major problem if fairly represented. I recently took an old laptop in from a deceased family member. As a computer scientist, I'm perfectly capable of getting the data off myself, but didn't want to spend the time on it. Data Doctors took a $60 deposit to assess, then called me to let me know it would be $140. I don't agree that the $140 is a fair price, but the sunk cost made it unappealing to go elsewhere, so I went ahead. Upon retrieving the data, they let me know the total cost was $200, that the $140 did not include the deposit figure. This was not communicated to me until time of purchase. The service was timely and as described, but the price was both unfair and misrepresented. I would advise anyone concerned about the cost of service to steer clear. Data retrieval services are priced at either $100 or $200 from them, but it appears that no realistic case would ever result in the $100 cost.

I changed my mind and asked for a refund of the initial fee. The guy was extremely rude and yelled at me on the phone, telling me never to come back to Data Doctors! I didn't curse at him or yell at him. In hindsight, maybe I should have just let it go. But I didn't think I deserved to be yelled at. I understand that people work hard for their income, but there was a better way to handle this than yelling at the customer and telling them that they were not welcomed back as customers. And of course, I will honor that and not come back. Also, I have been a customer in the past and have always been very happy with their service. i guess things have changed with customer service.

Within about 30 minutes, Rick quickly identified the problem, which was a severely swollen battery that had actually started warping the bottom of the laptop. He safely removed the faulty battery, cleaned out years of dust and debris from the system, and got my laptop back up and running using the battery cable alone. Not only did he fix the immediate problem, but he also took the time to help me select the best replacement battery to order for a permanent solution. What impressed me most was Rick's professionalism, technical expertise, and genuine enthusiasm for his work. He clearly knows computers inside and out, and he took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. It's rare to find someone who is both highly skilled and genuinely cares about helping their customers. I will definitely be returning to have the new battery installed and already plan on bringing another laptop to him this week. If you're looking for someone trustworthy, knowledgeable, and efficient for your computer repair needs, Rick is the person to call. I have found the right guy for the job and highly recommend him!

He asked me have you been here before, "I said yes," he said, "do you know where the warehouse is at," I said "yes" he said, "OK" hands me the invoice back and tells me to go to the warehouse. I get back there. They come down and tell me that he says I need to come back up there and show him my ID. OK, why didn't you tell me that when I was in there? Then when I get in there, I ask him and he tells me he said none of that...that he said welcome to the warehouse. When I asked him, why didn't he stop me from going out the door then and ask what I need?? He points to his computer and says I was doing my job...what!? Your job is to help a customer that just came in. So I'm completely baffled by this interaction if you said welcome to the warehouse, why did you hand me the piece of paper back and not ask me what I need as I'm walking out the door? He also tells me this is being recorded good because this interaction needs to be looked at. It was completely unprofessional, rude and made absolutely no sense, accept maybe covering himself for not doing his job correctly. Not to mention when we get home and unpacked the oven you could tell it seems to have been used and we had to scrub clean the range because the plastic that's supposed to be there to protect it was removed! I feel that this was due to him!! This was my last purchase from here...won't ever purchase another item from here, but I do have to say someone called me from there after I contacted them about the condition and they are having a new cooktop ordered and they're coming out to replace it.
