I called PCHelpForce when my video card went out a couple weeks ago. (Found the company here on yelp.) I made the appointment for Saturday morning on their website (love when I can do that). Their technician Bill arrived a bit early (the booking tool said the window was one or two hours before or after appointment time). Bill was friendly and efficient. He gave me my options, we agreed on a plan, and off he went with my computer, promising to return the next day (Sunday). Return he did, on time and with a smile on his face. He got everything back up and running and I was good to go. Unfortunately, my hard drive started going out (multiple BSOD issues). Without hesitation I contacted Bill. He immediately setup time the next morning. Once again he arrived on time, ran some diagnostics and confirmed the hard drive was on its last leg. We agreed upon a plan (which included an external hard drive for backup) and off he went, again promising to return the next day. Which he did, on time, and with a smile. He had replaced the hard drive, transferred all my data (documents, photos, etc.), updated all my drivers, and reinstalled most of my software (all except my videogames). This was the first time I had ever called a professional to work on my computer (I usually ask my tech savvy friends, but it had started to feel like I was taking advantage of the friendships). I'm glad I called PCHelpForce. They definitely exceeded my expectations. read more

I called these people to help with computer issues and was told I need psychiatric help. Really! I told him that we were having malware problems and can't find the source. He told me he can't help me. Who are you suppose to call when this company actually advertises that this is what they do. All he said was to change the passwords on everything and I told him we did that but there is still something hidden somewhere because it keeps reinfecting other items like the ipad (which is brand new). I'm glad he basically pushed me off the phone because I don't want a condescending person in my home. Will tell my friends who not to use especially my realtor friend who spreads the word about services in her monthly newsletter. read more

I have used PC Helpforce several times to help backup my files, when my computer crashed and recently to help with smart home installation. The service has been very good, the staff friendly and very knowledgable. I have compared prices and they are a better value then many of their competitors. I would recommend them! read more

Thought this would be great with what they say about themselves, boy was I wrong. I had a appointment at 2pm for in home fixes. I checked in at a little after 2 to make sure they were close. As I run 2 companies myself, time is valuable and many people are not so courteous with your time. they called back and the tech was at a certain spot, en route, and I knew where he was, fine by me. He was 14 miles away (I even googled it to make sure...goolge even said at that time of day 20 minutes) and i know I can get there in about 15 minutes, all freeway. 45 minutes later I am calling back in to see where the tech is, I start hearing attitude. He calls the tech and calls me back. He is now very close, 5 minutes away. I am now getting a lot of attitude as I made the comment that he's only gone about 15 minutes of driving in 45. The owner of the company, David, now gets quite snide with me, stating he does not want to be a smart a$$, but he knows right were he was and that is a good 30 minutes. We differed on that for a few moments. actually I know the location quite well too, thank you very much, and he should have been on time and someone should have called if they were going to be late, not getting sassy with a customer who is simply waiting for service. I stated that maybe it would be best if we just cancelled and he stated that would be a good idea since I was such a jerk (used more profanity). Then he hung up. Not sure who I CAN recommend, I can just tell you that I would never recommend these guys after this. they might think they are the top guys around and if that is the case, I feel bad for all the other guys, they must be horrible!!! read more

I have used PCHelpForce a few times over the past 4 years. They are professional, knowledgeable, honest, and reasonable. They can fix problems remotely or come to your home/business. My PC's hard drive was dying. They put in a SSD drive, but while re-setting the PC, all sorts of gaffes were made. Specifically, the tech linked my computer to OneDrive (which I don't use). So, everything I want to save is directed to OneDrive (which isn't active), and while the owner provided some help over the phone, it didn't completely solve the issue. Technician was over an hour late on one occasion, and only called after I had called the office. I was assured my old hard drive was "recoverable", but when my PC was returned (with the new drive), the old hard drive wasn't able to transfer to the new one (I thought that would have already been done back at the shop when they replaced the hard drive), so, they kept it to place it on the Server which, I was told, would require a couple of days as that process is slow. Well, its Monday (they've had it since Thursday) and no word from them. I don't know. The jury is very much still out. read more

They receive one star for friendliness, both the owner and technician are nice guys. However, the remaining stars are absent because it took over a month for data recovery to be transferred to a flash drive. Then, I had to call to get the dead motherboard laptop back. In addition, was disappointed to find the hard drive was not returned with the laptop which led to my making another phone call. In all, two months from laptop pick-up and several phone calls to have everything returned. I expected more efficient service. read more

Dave was great! I had him come to my house and connect my sonos system with the rest of my 1990 stereo system and set up differ t zones around my house, garage , backyard etc. I could have done this myself but it may have taken me 2 days with the new universal remote etc. Man was this money well spent and Dave was very efficient in getting all this hooked up- PC HELP FORCE is not just for PC's he does everything electronic and I highly recommend! read more

David and his team have always been there for our companies and personal needs. As a business owner I understand the needs of having responsible people helping us when we need it most. Prices on service and computers (yes, he gets great deals) are certainly within or below industry standard rates. On a few occasions they fixed problems without a visit using a remote access (I'm not technical so not sure what it's called) and it was simple and FAST. Having them come to your home or office can be priceless so your not unhooking stuff. I recommend them fully. I called PCHelpForce to fix a broken laptop screen. I made an appointment online which was easy and fast. Bill came to my house to asses the needed repairs and provided a price quote during his initial visit. Bill was on time to the appointment, professional, and helpful. He ordered the new screen promptly and came back to my house to pick up the computer for repair. He fixed the computer over night and returned it the next day. The repair was excellent. I was very impressed with this company! I was going to take my computer to Best Buy but found this place looking for any other options and I am so glad I did! They come right to your house, look at the problem, give you a quote, and they are on their way! It took my computer about a week to get back to me but they do have to order parts most of the time. This was even quicker that what Best Buy had told me and much much cheaper. I got my computer back in GREAT condition and back to new again! I've had two appointments with this company and was happy both times. The first time, a couple years ago, David came out to help with a noisy computer. I thought the hard drive was on its way out, but he cleaned the whole thing out and got it running pretty quick. Also helped install a component while he was there. Just within the last week, I had Matt come out to help me swap some components from one computer to another. He was very friendly and helpful, and even had some recommendations for components to get to speed up my PC. Both times they were on time, even though they had advised to allow an hour on either side of the appointment time in case of delay or ability to get there earlier. Our computer has been giving us problems, then completely froze up. PC Help Force was very much faster and better to work with then past experiences with big stores, especially Best Buy. They got it done quickly and were good to work with. However, we were quoted a price for the work to be done, and when he came back to bring it back, he charged us for another $200 worth of service that we had no idea we were being charged for. We could have done the smaller maintenance at home ourselves, but allowed him to do it because he just did without telling us it was chargeable. We were disappointed with that. read more

I am relatively new business, experiencing rapid growth; I needed some very basic and simple help with setting up and installing office computers and equipment, file sharing, wireless connection, and simple software installations. I found the PCHelpforce to be very good with the initial set ups,. and first visit. The 2nd and 3rd visit were not so good. The second visit the technician was late to the scheduled appointment, resulting in a failure to complete the very simple "entry level" tasks that I needed help with, and really could have done myself, if I was not pressed for time. I scheduled a 3rd appt. to finish the items requested, with a few more very basic office computer set up task; the appt. was scheduled at 3pm, and again the technician was late, and did not call to notify until 3:05pm - he said he would be here closer to 3:45pm or 4pm- at 4:05pm I contacted and said we would need to re-schedule; rather than apologizing, or making any effort to complete the stuff I needed help with, I basically just got a response like "OK, let us know when you want to re-schedule" - Bottom line, 2 times in a row, late, or no show to the job, with no effort, no apology, etc. -Long story short, we contacted another firm, that was local, and prompt, and professional. I understand the items I need help with perhaps were very simple, basic stuff, perhaps that were considered not that important, but very poor communication, and just basic bad customer service, as a result of missing or being late scheduled appointment. I would not recommend this company. They have horrible customer service, poor communications, and can't adhere to scheduled appointments. Very disappointed with them. read more
