Wow was this a disappointment. First time here so maybe we were unlucky but out of all the fast food chicken sandwiches, this one was the worst I've tried. Flavor was musty and old, fries were cold and stiff, and the zucchini fries were soft and not flavorful. Not worth risking taking another chance on this one. You can not go wrong with a meal here. Service is very good. Food is fresh and tasty. If you have not been you need to make the trip it will be worth your wild. Multiple sauces and dressing that are all made in house. If you are unable to choose they will let you have different ones. read more

1, 2 PDQ. I love me some PDQ!! I have been to just about everyone in Tampa. Each location provides the same great service and the food is always fresh. However, I have noticed that I have frequented this location at least 5 times within the past month. I don't like Brandon too much because of the traffic, but I sike myself out when I go because I justify that I can go to PDQ since I'm in the area. Hey, that's a good reason. How sad. Very friendly service, but food was okay. Grilled chicken was a little dry, but not the end of the world. It is a problem that there is only a baby changing table in the women's restroom. What if dads need to change their kids? I had to go outside and change my kid in the car. That is an added hassle and we were lucky the weather was good and I didn't get rained on this time. It is 2019. Men are parents too. If you'll put a changing table in the women's room and not the men's...I'm taking my kids for lunch somewhere else. read more

Just visited this place for the first time, and had the chicken tenders meal. I could take or leave the fries, but the tenders are legit. Really glad they have opened a location in my neck of the woods. My only complaint would be the prices - nearly $10 for a meal, but meh- the quality offsets that. read more

Not really a fan at all. The best part about PDQ is their decor. It's got a lot of clean lines and it looks great. That being said their food is just not good. My husband and I came here because we'd never been. The chicken is clearly fresh, but there is nothing special about it. The fries were really limp....not sure if that's how they were supposed to be but they were. We also each had a milkshake. I had the cap'n crunch berries one and it wasn't that good. I will say the service was pretty good, so thats a bonus. IMO go to Zaxby's or Chic fil a the chicken, fries prices, and milkshakes are better. read more

I will say that the place is spotless and the staff are attentive, guess it should be as the place just opened.. The food on the other hand not so great. Ordered the chicken fingers and there appeared to be fat or something stringy when you bite into them, it grossed me out. Way too much breading too. The fries were really greasy so much so that I choose not to eat them. In the kids meal they do not offer chocolate milk, seems odd as every other fast food place offers it. I have mixed feelings about this place. I think the food is pretty good, and the employees are friendly. However, it seems they aren't very consistent. I went to this location earlier this week and it took them a while to get my order ready via the drive-thru. Not a big deal as I wasn't in a rush. They were kind enough to give me a coupon for a free meal combo ($7.99 value) for my next visit as a way to say thanks for waiting and sorry for the delay. That was great! I really liked that. However, I just went back today for a late lunch and on the receipt it shows the discount itemized as a "valued guest." Awesome! But you know what isn't awesome? The fact that I got home, looked in my bag and realized I was missing a cookie that I ordered, the creamy garlic sauce I requested, and there weren't any napkins. You'd think they would double check everything since they "messed up" the first time around and they were considering me a "valued guest." Overall, if you want a nice fast food experience, this place is a good option -- but by all means, be sure you check your order for accuracy before leaving because they won't. read more

Great homemade fresh chicken tenders but unfortunately they went from great homemade french fries to frozen french fries made to their spec. Now there is no difference between their french fries and the competitions. How disappointing! BRAVO GUYS! WELL DONE DURING YOUR TRAINING! I tried the crispy turkey breast sandwich which was so yummy. The turkey breast was crispy, juicy and well seasoned. The salads are loaded with fresh crunchy veggies. Skip the fries and go for the toffee apples, they're sweet tart slices of heaven. Aside from the food, I absolutely love the hand washing station. Love this casual and fast restaurant concept. The ordering process and getting your food is quick. Every time I have visited this restaurant the food has been fresh and it rivals Chick-Fil-A in my books. Any restaurant that has one of the fountain drink machines where you can create your own concoction is already a winner in my books. Going through a drive-thru here was bit of a different experience ...I'm used to talking through an intercom!! Not having many sides to choose from I decided to go for the salads instead of the tenders. The grill chicken salad was very good it comes with a thick dressing but you can substitute if need to. Tried it for the first time 4 days after opening day and I must say I was impressed. The food was ready pretty darn quick for sure! For a second I thought perhaps someone else had placed an order ahead of me with then same need. I had the grilled chicken salad and my wife had the crispy chicken sandwich. This place is awesome!! I love the chicken tenders, they are so moist, and just the right amount of breading, (not so much that you feel you bought batter, and not chicken!!) The zucchini fries, what can I say...superb, and really refreshing as a side, as I'm not a big French frie lover. And in conclusion about the food, you MUST try the Cali Club, unbelievably yummy! This is the grand opening for PDQ. The chicken is as great as we have come to expect. The staff and management are pleasant. The only negatives were the fries, which were cold and soggy. Management did act quickly to make fresh ones. The other negative is the dining room, which is relatively small. This was the location of the old Buddy Freddie's - I was expecting more seating inside. Being the grand opening there were tons of people, but not enough tables - it was too hot, rainy and muggy to eat outside. As is par for Brandon dining, pick your times to visit carefully and avoid peak dining times if you wish to sit inside. We will be dining here again for sure. read more

I have been to PDQ locations numerous times and the Brandon restaurant several times. Recently, we went to the drive thru. We thought the line was long because it was the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend and lots of people were out shopping. WRONG! The line was long because the young women working the drive thru were having a great time chatting! When we drove up the woman at the window was so busy talking (not about work related issues) to a co-worker she couldn't be bothered taking our order for several minutes. One customer in line even started beeping.If I had a do-over I would go in and talk to the manager immediately. In summary, I am a regular PDQ customer and have a favorite menu item which is the grilled chicken salad which is consistently great BUT skip the drive thru at the Brandon location. read more
