We decided to check this place out after seeing its near perfect rating on Yelp. (And by 'we', I mean Mitchell brought this place up as an option every single time we were going out to eat until I finally gave in.) I usually don't like chicken, so I was initially hesitant to try this place out. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is great. I felt like we were back in California when we walked in! The staff is friendly and helpful, and the layout of the restaurant is bright, open, and clean. The food is awesome. I ordered the crispy chicken salad with honey mustard dressing. (I don't like crispy chicken from anywhere, so this was a leap of faith for me.) It was wonderful! The salad itself was so fresh and crisp. The chicken was AMAZING. So fresh and moist, yet the breading had a wonderful crunch to it. It was delicious. My only complaint would be that it comes pre tossed with the dressing, and I had to ask for a side of dressing because I wasn't sure that there was any dressing on the salad. I'm sure they use a pre-portioned amount of dressing. No big deal. Mitchell got a 3-piece tenders meal with fries. Halfway through he mentioned that he wished he had gotten a 4-piece meal, but when he was close to finishing, he took back what he said. I've been going to this location since it first opened, I was there on its opening day. I usually order the same thing " Classic Crispy Salad" I was pleased with the salads for a long time but lately it's not what it was when it first opened, half the time there's barely any chicken especially if you substitute it for grilled and just today, it was missing most of what makes it the Classic Crispy Salad" This is not the first or second time I've been disappointed but I think it'll be the last time I go back. read more

PDQ is the best fast food place ever. I love that they have one now in Miami because it is the best fried chicken sandwiches ever. I love that they make their own sauces, everyone needs to try the chipotle BBQ because it's sweet and spicy. The chicken sandwiches aren't too overwhelming because it's a light crisp. I also love that they add lots of lettuce, tomatoes and pickles. My favorite thing about PDQ is the sandwiches, but I've had the tenders which are also really tasty! The environment is, what I perceive at least, very modern and upbeat. This is both a bane and a boon, in my opinion, because the restaurant can get very noisy. Excellent fast food. The ingredients are fresh. The chicken is great quality and perfectly cooked. Mind you, I tried PDQ about 4 times before giving it 5 stars. The truth is that this is a fast food joint, but honestly their chicken can put full service restaurants to shame. My favorite sandwich is the Buffy Blue. It's a sandwich with buffalo sauce covered chicken strips. It's so good. It has a little kick of spice to it so it may not be for everyone. The cookies are soft and a good size. The service is also notable. Everyone is friendly and I feel appreciated everytime I step foot in PDQ. I can attest that PDQ stands up to its name. read more

First time I came here was for the Yelp National Sandwich Day event. I've seen this place a few times because I live near by but was never interested in dropping in or even looking up their menu. Obviously, I've been missing out! The food was soooo good! We were able to sample a few items from their menu. (Thanks Yelp & PDQ!) I started off with a honey mustard grilled chicken sandwich. Once everyone was finished with their sandwich, they brought out their best sellers so everyone can try them family style. We had fries, chicken nuggets, chicken tenders, salad, milkshakes, and cookies. I don't know how I even made it out of there without rolling. I really could not stop eating because everything was so delicious! The fries were definitely my favorite! The sauces were also just as good as the food, and probably even made it that much better! I was ordering lunch for my boss and I. he got tenders with fries and a chocolate shake and I got nuggets with fries and a heath shake. the nuggets and tenders were fantastic, truly. but the fries I feel could have been crunchier. they were good but a little soft for my taste. the chocolate shake was a no go. I couldn't pinpoint what it was but it wasn't good. the heath shake was delicious though. sauces: we got creamy garlic, honey bbq, ranch and honey mustard. they were ...ok...the ranch is what I had the biggest issue with. it DID NOT taste like ranch is tasted more like a garlic sauce then anything else which was a huge disappointment because I LOVE ranch. the cookies were ok. I make better cookies. all in all I wouldn't be opposed to coming back here but I wouldn't see myself suggesting to come here. read more

I have to write an update as my previous review is no longer accurate. Unfortunately the quality of food has steadily declined here over the last few months and after several bad meals tonight's bad meal will be my last here. They started off great but I don't know what happened with management and quality control as they have really lost their way. Last several times we come here everything is way too salty. Fries were so salty they were inedible. Chicken also salty and even though it is called crispy chicken it is now always soggy. Any time I eat here I am thirsty and with dry mouth for the entire day from all the salt. I am so grossed out I will not be back. A shame that they started out great and now are consistently bad. They need to completely change their quality control procedures and drastically reduce the salt in their items before I would ever consider coming here again. read more

I love PDQ! Its not trying to be more than it is. It makes chicken tenders... and you know what it makes really yummy chicken tenders. I normally get the Spicy Buffalo Tender Sandwich. the brioche bun is buttery and delicious, the tenders are great and the sauce is yummy (although admittedly not spicy at all). The fries are also thin fries which i for some unknown reason seem to prefer. This PDQ location also has the Multi-Flavor coke machines, which if you have sen my reviews it is a huge selling point for me. Absolutely delicious! I had the nuggets, which were lightly breaded and fried harder than what you would get from CFA but with the same high-quality chicken. The meat was really juicy and flavorful, especially when paired with the sriracha sauce that I wish I could straight up inject into my veins. I also ordered tots and a Heath shake, which were both amazing! I sat inside and the woman who took my order was really friendly, and the food came out very quickly. Since it was my first time visiting, I wasn't sure if this was normal, but she brought my food to the table, which was a really nice touch. Drove through on my way from the new Target. No line and quick delivery. Staff was friendly and polite, which was surprising since we are in Miami and in Sweetwater nonetheless. As far as "fast food" goes, PDQ reigns supreme. From the crunchy, piping hot breading on the chicken / turkey, to the crisp and light french fries, you can not go wrong. The man behind the microphone was pretty upbeat and funny. "Crispy chicken sandwich hot and ready for Dan, the man! Is Dan the man in the building" and so on. Definitely a happy, errorless experience. Bathrooms are immaculate and the music played overhead is chipper music from back in the day when life was brightened with a bite at the local diner with a milkshake and good company. At first glance the menu seems a bit underwhelming because it is a bit limited but order anything on it and your taste buds will be sent on a journey to Utopia. PDQ for the win! I like to consider this Chik-Fila's non-denominational cousin that's open on sundays. The chicken is delicious and the amount of sauces they carry really make dunking fun. It's a quick and easy fast food chain that's new to the Miami food scene. It's just simple food served with a smile and easy on the pocket. People boast about their shakes and I'm sure they taste great, I'm just not a dessert person. I like their fries and sandwiches the most. This Flagler location also offers a drive through for those on the run. The coleslaw option isn't the best but for those health conscious eaters, it might be the best option. They have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machine which lets you customize your soda with additional mix in flavors. I fell in love with the Diet Vanilla Coke & im not even a vanilla fan. They were passing out promotion coupons during grand opening. We went in and got our meals for free, but the service and quality were still 5 stars even we didn't pay! The foods are very fresh, the chicken tender are very juicy and nicely breaded. The grilled chicken salad with berry dressing was tasty. PDQ is amazing! I'm not huge on chicken but the chicken here is perfect every time! I've tried both the chicken nuggets & the chicken tenders but I definitely like the nuggets better! I'm a huge fan of tater tots so I was excited to try theirs & they didn't disappoint, however their fries are so good it makes it hard to choose so I mix it up each time I go! Their sauces are also the best - my personal favorite is the Honey BBQ it's the perfect mix and the fact that they make them in house just makes it so much better. They have the Coca Cola freestyle machines so I get to have my favorite Vanilla Coke which is a plus for me! The only reason I deducted a star is because I feel like it's a little bit pricier than most of the competitors, but no matter what I'm still a fan and not planning to stop going any time soon! read more

I got so obsessed with it that I went for 5 days straight for lunch and dinner lol Any how, they have amazing customer service and they really go the extra mile to make sure your food tastes great and that you have everything you need (ie dipping sauces). They have never really messed up my order during lunch time or early evening but be aware if you go late they may slack a bit. Also, French fry count is a lot better when you dine in than through the drive through window. Those things are seriously addicting! The tenders are great by themselves but my go to is the buffalo tender sandwich with an extra tender inside, Oreo shake, French fries and lots of ranch sauce. Very very very impressed with the customer service. As soon as you walk in the manager makes you feel welcome, he greets you and tells you the concept of the store. Cashier ladies are very attentive as well. Everything is neat and clean, they have the cutest little sink in the front with soap and plenty of paper towels. We tried three different sauces - chipotle BBQ, creamy garlic, buffalo bleu (my favorite), and bleu cheese. The lemonade is made fresh.
