Fast food doesn't get any better than this. These people and REALLY dedicated to quality. Their chicken is amazing. The operating manager, Alan, was great. He personally carried my food to the table and educated me on their process and my questions about the food. He was so kind as to bring me and my friend a sample of the tenders so we can see the differwnce between the tenders and nuggets. Let me say that the tenders are amazing. I've been to PDQ before and loved it but they have lost their quality. The food was very over cooked. The pimento crunch sandwich was taken literally, very crunchy. We waited a while for our food which to me meant we were getting fresh food, Not. The chargrilled bbq chicken sandwich was also extremely over cooked, dry and hard. The only positive thing I can say is there weren't any errors. We received everything we ordered which is not the norm when you order through drive thru. read more

Eek! Methinks not, indeed. This past Saturday night, my friends and I were in the area when we decided upon PDQ as the lucky winner of the night. My friends that I was with told me that this place was really yummy and that they used fresh ingredients, so naturally I felt like I was in good hands. Wrong. After the guy up front who was nice enough took our order, we tried desperately to find a clean table, but no such luck. Not a single one was without sauce remnants or laden with crumbs. We had to take it upon ourselves go to the bathroom, get a wet paper towel, and clean it. That's not even the worst part. Our food finally came out. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and my friends split some chicken tenders. My sandwich was fine, but when my friends offered me one of their chicken tenders all horror swept over me. As I slowly started to introduce one of the tenders in my mouth, I got a close-up of a thick hair trapped within the batter of the chicken tender. Vomit. But it didn't stop there. We set that particular tender off to the side, and although I was completely grossed out, my friends were not and so they carried on with their meal...until: when one of my friends briefly analyzed the following tender that he was about to eat, he became absolutely disgusted by the second hair that we would come across in that single batch! When I looked up at the open kitchen where all the people who were handling the food were, I noticed that not one of them were wearing hair nets. Correct me if I'm wrong but is that not a health code violation? If not, then it certainly should be. I spoke to the manager immediately, who said that this never happens and it was their flour purveyor to blame....doesn't help with the situation, buddy. And although the floor manager was more than happy to reimburse our money back, I will sadly never step foot into another PDQ again. read more

I found out this place coincidentally from a coworker and decided to try it out. I loved the food here, everything from the chicken tenders to the turkey sandwiches was really on point. These guys really know how to cook birds well. I just hated how I had to look almost 20 minutes for a parking spot, and then as soon as I walked in I had to wait a good 10 minutes to be seated, that's 30 minutes down the drain if you ask me. read more

My husband and I stopped in on Sunday because he was craving Chick-Fil-A, which of course is closed on Sunday. I remembered hearing about PDQ at a networking event, so we stopped by. The restaurant was really clean and inviting. The location is a bit further from our house, but totally accessible. Lots of parking available. The food was great! Although I had never heard of PDQ we decided to give it a chance. Upon entering we were greeted by a "welcome to pdq". The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel at home right away. On the way to the ordering window we were given menus by a gentleman in a chef outfit which made me feel like I was in a fancy restaurant. The cashier was more than willing to give us suggestions while not feeling pushed into anything. The order came up in a few minutes and we were offered as many of their sauces we would want which was a very nice touch. From honey mustard to ranch and I between the selection was good for every taste. The chicken sandwich was fresh, hot, and very soft and moist and the fries were not crunchy but well seasoned and tasty. The tender strips were also moist and meaty not over done with batter. The shakes are to die for rich, creamy pure heaven in a cup. I highly recommend PDQ for a great dining experience for a reasonable price. read more

This place is the best! I don't go to fast food places since they're mainly unhealthy, however, PDQ is on the healthier side of "fast food". They cook the food right where you can see them (like Pollo Tropical) and they take a bit longer than fast food places because they're freshly made. I go to PDQ a lot and I don't feel like a whale after I finish devouring their delicious chicken tender meal. Their best sauce is the honey mustard.. OMG... that sauce.... makes my mouth watery just thinking about it. The lemonade is homemade as well so it tastes exactly like the ones that you might make at home. It's not from those nasty lemonade machines that have like 35g of sugar and are synthetic which I hate so much. Every time I go it's fresh and delicious. Sometimes you even get a $2 off your next visit on the receipt which is handy because they're kind of pricey for being fast food. I have recommended this place to many people and they have all gone to try it out and they are now returning customers like myself. I wish they had more chains open because in Miami there is only this one on Flagler and one in Broward county. The service is great and fast. Once you go inside you have to go to the cash register and order your food and then go pick a table. Once you pick a table.. sit and wait for your name to be called so you can pick your food up. That's it. Relatively easy. They also have a drive-through window which I love for those days that I do not have time to go inside and sit down. Love this place!
