I'm not usually one to rate chains, but I love PDQ. I was sadly underwhelmed with this location. When we came in, it wasn't busy at all, but there was nobody working the cashier. We ordered on the kiosk. There were 4 tables that were taken, and the rest of them hadn't been wiped down. I usually go to the location in Clermont which is always very clean, so I was disappointed this one had dirty tables and trash on the floor. read more

The spicy chicken deluxe is good, hot & crispy fresh veggies tomato's lettuce etc. waffles fries are a must here. The restaurant looks decent & clean. Took a peek through the pick up window. We had to check out PDQ after hearing such good things about it considering we don't have one up North. My brother even said it is better than Chick-Fil-a believe it or not. We ordered the spicy chicken sandwich, the classic crispy sandwich and then also got a side of fries and a side of mac & cheese. We split everything so we could judge it all instead of buying everything individually and running up the bill. Overall, I loved it. The spicy chicken sandwich had such a good flavor and spice to it. The heat profile was nothing super crazy which made it very delicious to eat. The waffle fries are very good here too. It definitely gives off the vibes of it's chicken competitors but it seems the focus is more on the different kinds of chicken and spice levels. The interior is nicely themed and it makes it a great spot to sit, even though we got it for takeout. I really liked the whole overall experience for a fast food place. It's pretty great. read more

Every time we go to PDQ we remember how good not only the food is but the service too. Everyone has always been very friendly and welcoming. The head chef/manager is great and is never afraid to help out guests and staff across the restaurant. I will always recommend the creamy garlic sauce (think garlic parm) and the quality of the chicken is fantastic. The drink selection is great but I'll always come back to a lemonade or the wonderful shakes - they are thick but they are worth the effort! read more

2 stars for food transparency. I go to their website trying to figure out if they put chemicals (high fructose corn syrup, artificial flavors, etc) in their milkshakes and I see it says following. I'm looking at ingredients for vanilla milkshake.What does it say? Ingredients: Vanilla Milkshake. How does that answer my question? This was my first visit to this location which happens to be the closest to where I live. I have driven by it frequently but we were actually in the area and it was lunch time so we stopped. There were four of us in our party and we ordered separately for dine in. The menu is actually a bit extensive considering they are mostly chicken. I have enjoyed several of the chicken selections and the past from other locations and knew that I would enjoy it. I ordered the Jacked Spicy Chicken sandwich with no tomato and a side salad. The sandwich was truly excellent with some real good heat to it. It was everything I expected. They charge $2.99 extra for the salad instead of the fries but it is a big salad. For the dressing I tried their lemon chili vinaigrette and that also had some really good heat. It was unexpected but welcome as I like it hot. You walk up and order at the counter and they take your name and will call you when your food is ready. The service was quick and everything looked exactly as expected. The dining area has plenty of tables and booths with really good lighting. They have Coca-Cola freestyle machines so you have a wide variety of drinks available along with a couple of selections of iced tea on the side. Personally I am a big fan of PDQ even though it feels a little pricey you definitely get a lot of food for what you pay. I hope to be able to come back frequently. read more

It had a couple sauces - but the garlic one was also good!! This location is in a new area by Disney World, so good for them being on the early stages on development! Try them out! Is very tasty, they have many dressing options, and they also have a few alternatives if you are looking for something more fulfilling. However, because of the desirable area, it is pricey... so it's a decent amount for your money. The service is good, sometimes they can get pretty busy depending on the time a day. I like the concept of the inside, the music and style is simple but very clean and it gives you a good feeling for a quick fast food craving! Excellent! My 3rd visit to this location which is right across from the Disney College housing campus. Lunch time tends to be busier than dinner time. I'm a chicken sandwhich kinda guy so I've been able to try all the different ones, the favorite is really just the classic. The one thing I have to hands down recommend are the shakes! Get as many sauces as you like as they are free. I also enjoy and appreciate the hand washing station outside the restrooms, I feel like this encourages to wash our hands. TL;DR. Good chicken and zucchini fries. People Dedicated to Quality For me, PDQ falls under Chick-fiil-a and Canes. It's was served hot with a good crunchy coating. The real MVP are the zucchini fries. Not something often found on menus, and these were a home run. My wife and I both got them as a up charge side and the portion was very generous. The sauces were meh. We got PDQ, ranch and garlic ranch. I love the sink out in the open to wash up before your food is served. The misses. The Diet Coke was weak. Neither machine dispensed tasty beverages. The sauces. The guy with all the tattoo's, calling out names, cold, impersonal, with a RBF. Can dudes have an RBF? Is it a RDF? PDQ is similar to Chicken Guy. I ordered the spicy tenders. I preferred PDQ's tenders to Chicken Guy's (they were more fresh and had more meat to them). However, there was not as many sauce selections. I also ordered the Oreo milkshake which was very good but not extremely memorable. The service was VERY fast - we received our food less than 5 min after placing our order. However, they did make a few mistakes with our order. Overall, a good fast food chicken place. For me, Chic-fil-A still outranks PDQ. But, this is a good alternative. read more

This was my first time trying PDQ, and am so glad that I could try this brand new location in my area. I like the idea of focusing on doing one thing really well, and they did not let me down. Chicken- well seasoned, not too greasy, great temp. Solid 9! We tried some chicken tenders and the honey butter sandwich. The sandwich was a little too sweet for me. But it was well seasoned, cooked perfectly and the bun was great. Next time I will ask for the sauce on the side. Sauces- tried only 3; the PDQ, garlic, and Buffalo. The garlic and PDQ were really good. Hand washing station is so convenient so you can prepare to enjoy your meal, and clean up after your meal. Staff was friendly and location is spacious. This chain has their own unique taste which differs from Maggo's and Chic-Fil-A. Definitely worth a try! read more

I ate at this PDQ on the 4th of July evening for dinner. I really like fried chicken and frequent CFA and Cane's quite a bit, but we don't have PDQ in Oregon, and I was really looking forward to trying it. I asked the cashier if they had some sort of a sampler where I could try a few different things, and they didn't offer anything like like. The cashier suggested their chicken sandwich and said it was their best selling item. I don't care for brioche buns, so I got the chicken tenders meal (with 1 tender spicy), and my daughter got the chicken nuggets meal. We also got a side of Parmesan Broccoli to try. Our food came out quickly, and our fries and chicken were not hot. I would bet each came out of the fryer and were sitting for more than 5 minutes prior. To me, the fries tasted like they were fried in older oil. The taste of the chicken tenders were ok, but with them being barely warm, it didn't make them stand out as good. I liked the honey BBQ sauce. I liked the broccoli the most out of everything I ate. When you're a chicken restaurant and your broccoli is better than your chicken and fries, it is a good sign. We intended to get dessert there, too, since it seemed like they had a nice selection, but since we weren't too satisfied with dinner, we passed on ordering something else. read more
