I had a really disappointing experience at PDQ Printing today. I called a few days earlier to find out if PDQ does spiral binding on books. The individual I talk to assured me that they did. Today I drove over to their shop and wanted to get my book spiral edged and the female manager told me that they don't do spiral binding. She asked me who I talked to, and I didn't think I needed to get the persons name. My bad I guess. I asked her why their employee who is answering the phone would give out false information. Not much of a reply because I didn't get a name. My advice to someone going to use them for printing is call first, get a name of who you are talking too and make sure you are specific as to what you need done. That way you don't waste a couple hours of your going to their place of business. All I can say is good luck if you choose to use them. read more

If you're order is small around $400 and you are an individual not with a company anymore, then you are out, you are a nobody. Don't waste your time because they will ignore you. I have a love-hate relationship with PDQ. If they realize who you are (i.e. someone with an organization that is a long-time customer giving them a lot of business), they'll treat you awesomely and go above and beyond. But if they don't realize who you are (i.e. you've used them continuously for years as a part of organizations they recognize, but you start with an organization that hasn't used them before), you are in for some poor service. You'll make calls and send emails with no response. You'll have to tell them something 4 times before it happens. And you'll arrive to pick up your order only to find out that they printed it on the wrong paper.
