I visited before 9:30 PM, and both the drive-thru employee and the employee at the pickup window told me they couldn't make a milkshake because the machine had "already been cleaned". The posted closing time is 10:00 PM. I understand employees want to get closing tasks done before the end of their shift, but menu items shouldn't be unavailable during normal business hours simply because cleanup started early. If you're open until 10:00 PM, customers should reasonably expect to be able to order from the full menu until then. What made this even more frustrating was that while we were waiting for our food, one of the employees made a milkshake and almost handed it to us before realizing it wasn't her daughter at the window. That showed the machine was still being used, making it seem like milkshakes were available for employees' family members but not for paying customers. I hope management addresses this so future customers receive the service they expect during posted business hours. read more

Every time I drive by this place it is always busy, long car lines so it has to be good. Decided to give it a try today and wanted to sit down to have it properly, the line inside was just as long as it was outside. Decided on 2 items that their known for a and one that seems to be a limited time. Shakes look good but wasn't in the mood for one. After patiently waiting, we finally received our meal, it was certainly fresh and made to order. It was good, but just not great. Maybe I just had higher expectations? I honestly couldn't taste either honey or butter on the sandwich, don't get me wrong, it was drenched. Crispy Tenders Combo Meal. VERY GOOD. After RAISING CANE'S I'd say that PDQ has the second best Chicken Tenders out there. Decent sized Chicken Tenders (5pc) compared to every fast-casual or fast-food Restaurant which sell small Tenders. Once biting into the Chicken Tenders you know you're getting a quality piece of Meat based on texture and taste. The Waffle Fries were solid and crispy with a nice crunch and not being soggy at all. Settled for a PDQ blended Sweet Tea instead of a Fountain Drink. Overall a GOOD meal. Better than CHIK-FIL-A but not as dominant in franchises and locations. RECOMMEND. read more

I've ordered inside, drive thru, and curbside. All without any issues and pretty quick too. Ambiance? Clean and moderately loud. It's clean and bright. Nothing special but nothing lacking either. Now the food. Well, just like their competitor they only serve chicken. The chicken is super tender and cooked well. You can tell it's real chicken breast and not reconstituted chicken parts (yuck McDonald's). Ok so the flavor? Well, this is where it's honestly going to be tough. Their chicken is mild in flavor but an okay flavor. No standout taste. Not too salty. Not too seasoned. Slightly bland perhaps. The competition definitely has a pickle juice flavor (which I don't like) and this doesn't have it. For me, that's a win. For others it may be a loss. Why a 4 and not 5? The flavor. It's just kinda missing something. Like a punch or kick of flavor. Their sauces are awesome, but I wish the chicken could stand alone without them. To be honest sometimes you can tell the oil is past it's prime which isn't a win and pushed me closer to a 3/5, but that's been very seldom so I let it pass. Food is served super quickly and it's delicious EVERY TIME. I'm currently in a show nearby and some of my friends and I come here after rehearsals for dinner because we go pretty late--it's so nice to have great food and service in a fast food place with a great vibe. The chicken tenders w/ fries are great with their homemade sweet sriracha sauce. Grilled chicken w/almonds & craisins and a blueberry/raspberry vinegarette topping was primo. This was my second time at PDQ but first time at the Wellington location! I made the trek all the way from Miramar just for a doctors appointment at the new Cleveland Clinic in Wellington (btw, it's a brand new clinic along with their Coral Springs location) & was starving after my visit. Luckily PDQ is right in front of the clinic. It was calling my name! My dad isn't a big fan of chicken but he didn't seem to mind here. The staff is very friendly and live up to their motto- People Deserve Quality. The food was wonderful as usual. I got the chicken salad with honey mustard dressing & my dad got the burger with pineapple in it. Forgive me, I can't quite remember their names. The fries were thin and crispy, which is my ultimate fav & they resemble Steak n' Shake fries if you need a reference. They also have those advance soda machines with a million different options so definitely opt for getting a soda fountain drink & try as many as you want. It's worth it! There were a few olives, a couple pieces of cucumber, three tomatoes, very little humus, small serving of chicken, and very little romaine lettuce. Even the serving of the lemon chile vinaigrette was watered down. Overall, this is a small portion of salad and veggies. Very disappointed in what I given. For the price they are charging you would expect a decent quantity of food, however that is not case. I have had this salad many times at PDQ and they have done better. They have a great environment, staff is overly nice, mgr. frequents tables checking on customers asking if there is anything you may need. Their chicken is moist and lightly crispy breading- Always fresh & hot. Food portions exceed expectations. Great variety of menu options & a variety of dipping sauces at no extra charge. First of all I must have driven pass this place a million times and had not a clue what it was. We walk up to the counter and place the order. I've got two words for you when ordering HONEY BUTTER. That's all you need to know. So we ordered 2 honey butter chicken sandwiches and of course black and white milkshakes because heaven forbid I go a day without one. No sooner do I order and get handed my change then boom order is up already. Talk about quick service. It's like they read my mind before I ordered. Sit down and wow! Let me just explain to you that this honey butter sandwich was fried chicken that they then throw a ton of butter on (not joking, see pic below). I mean it was just dripping buttery goodness right out of the wrapper. I may of found a new love. The milkshake on the other hand was kinda meh. Pretty bad experience. Paid almost $40 for lunch for 3 people. Got home and one of the meals was missing. Spent 20 minutes driving there and back again and wasn't offered any sort of apology even from the person that seemed to be the manager. I guess this kind of thing is very common for them. This is a chain restaurant and this location is great because the employees are really friendly and they staff well so that you are taken care of fast. The store is also exceptionally clean all the time. My favorite part of the restaurant is the hand-cleaning station in the dining room that you step on. They have some different items that you can't get anywhere else. The Fried Turkey sandwiches rule, the tenders are very good and have unique taste, and the fries are some kind of salty thin good. The wife likes the toffee & apples side. The sweet tea is unique and they even have this unique hand soap in the bathroom that makes me feel excited about washing my hands. There are always a ton of awesome promotions so join the club and watch your email. Stuff like wear green day, or win free chicken for a year contests, or buy one get one free meals. The only downside is that the food can be a little pricey. Like I said, try to catch a promo or hit up the 5 tender meal to maximize your price savings.
