    Goodness on a plate

This is a real gem in our neighborhood, and needs to be supported. Food is AMAZING, made fresh on site with real talent. Great atmosphere, very clean and wonderful wonderfully friendly people working. Not expensive at all. they are open earlier than stated here

Veggie/Ham omelette, One Egg Croissant With Cheese and bacon, two medium lattes, and a side of hash brown

Our favorite breakfast spot! This is our fourth visit and counting. It has consistently been great each time we come back. Our server and cook, Juan and Nidia, are welcoming and always give us excellent service. I don't understand some of these reviews that say otherwise, since we've seen them interact amazing with each and every customer. My experience with the food is always good. The omelet is tasty! You must order it with the veggies and ham to get the best flavor. My husband loves the egg, cheese croissant. They provide fresh, warm French baguettes to complement the meal. The lattes are always delicious. I consider myself a foodie and always trying new spots. This is by far one of my favorite breakfast spots. A must try!

Lots of Mayo, hard dried out prosciutto
    Heather T.

Very disappointing experience!! Oddly, we enjoyed it twice before and were excited to return. I got the prosciutto with mozzarella and basil and balsamic. There was no basil or balsamic. The prosciutto was all hard and shiny like when you leave it out too long. It was tough. The sandwich was covered in Mayo which was not even listed as an ingredient and the baguette was hard as a rock. I couldn't even eat it. My husband got a gyro and the meat was all dried out like it had been sitting out. I don't know if they were just having a bad day over there but we certainly wouldn't rush to return back. Pretty pricey take out for sandwiches you can't even eat!

The inside is very cute !

The ambiance was bitter sweet , I am guessing this cuisine maybe Spaniard.. I could be wrong but they have a great menu , coffee was great and I will be back for sure with a friend. It quiet and perfect to meet up with friends and mingle, they do have wine selection as well to go with your lunch! Pastries they look delicious !!

It's not a deli. It's Mexican with sandwiches and I didn't like it at all. Nothing Italian about it!

One guy told us all the items on the menu that he's tried and liked. My husband ordered their meatloaf with mashed potatoes twice (as his 2 sides). It came with a mushroom gravy. He said it was wonderful. I had their ham sliders. Three mini Hawaiian buns, filled with Boar's head ham, melted provolone cheese, and a sweet honey mustard sauce. They were sticky and delicious. They have happy hour specials and different events/entertainment on a rotating calendar. They should do well here once discovered. We will be back to try their touted burgers and steak sandwich... among other things.

Several lunch specials to select. I chose the Meatloaf with two sides. (I chose mashed potatoes TWICE). My Meatloaf was a nice serving of tender, moist and flavorful loaf. The mushroom gravy that came with the mashed potatoes was dark and savory delicious. Service is fast and friendly with a lot of food options, including some interesting Salads. A great lunch stop for us!

There was a healthy crowd, but we were seated immediately and the service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant itself is clean, bright and contemporary. We started with Bloody Marys and passion fruit mimosas--all excellent. (Although they don't salt the cocktail rims, so sodium enthusiasts beware.) Breakfast and lunch are served all day, and pretty much everything on the menu sounded good. We went with the oxtail and grits, biscuits and gravy, and avocado toast, plus breakfast potatoes, sausage links and hash brown casserole. Exceptional. All of it. The oxtail was fall-apart tender, with a rich gravy over creamy, flavorful grits that had exactly the right consistency. The biscuits were huge and fluffy with a good crumble. And the avocado toast wasn't some sad little schmear of avocado--it came piled high with avocado, tomato and onion. Actually, everything was generously portioned. Come hungry and be prepared to roll out the door. One thing I especially appreciated: they were working on improvements to the menu that day and asking customers to try and give feedback on a potential new corned beef hash dish. There's something great about a locally owned restaurant actively engaging its customers and always looking for ways to get even better. I got the 'itis, but managed to churn out this review before the nap kicks in--because everybody should know about this wonderful little gem in Boynton Beach. Big John's Eatery: absolutely worth a visit.

Unfortunately, both left much to be desired. The sandwich was lacking in filling and real bacon. It's was like bacon bits, but it was mostly consisting of bread so much so that I regretted not taking a picture of it opened up. The coffee, which I had hoped would be good given that it's made from freshly ground beans, also fell flat. The service didn't help the situation either. I stood in front of a staff member for a good five minutes before someone else had to step in and prompt her to assist me. She was quite dismissive. On a positive note, the interior of the coffee shop is quite charming with ample seating, which is the only highlight of my visit. Perhaps I'll give Camela Coffee another chance in the future when there are different staff members on duty and I can try something else, but this visit was not a good one in terms of service or food.
