Great energy at this place. They always seem to have adults and kids of various ages training for baseball and lacrosse, inline hockey, and other sports like floor hockey. Just a lot of variety of sports training happens here. The facility has a turf area for baseball and lacrosse, an indoor inline hockey rink, a watchtower overlooking the rink, and a concession stand serving drinks and small snacks. They also sell a few accessories like wheels and tape. Ive been playing pickup hockey here for a few weeks, and i don't think you could meet a better community. Everyone is helpful, offering both encouragement and pointers on improving your game. Eventually, i would like to get good enough to join one of their leagues, but for now playing in the beer nuts pick-up games has been great! Maybe the only strike about the place is there really isn't a posted schedule for things happening. Though it seems shift around from season to season. So reach out and email them so they can fill you in. Im extremely happy that I did, and look forward every week to go play hockey. The parking isn't great, but walking a little never hurt anyone. This place has given me a great excuse to be more active in my 30s, and if you're looking for something like this, look no further. read more

The Hockey is dangerous. The refs are either bad or just ignorant. They have no control over the game and miss blatant penalties which only encourages bad hockey. Players are going to get seriously hurt. The place is small and has very little parking. There's probably something good about it, but I haven't seen it. read more

The coach even took my number, but I never heard from this. Bummer to say this facility is a SCAM. Do not give them your money.

Most of the players are nice. However, it is easy to confront rude people there who demonstrate their strong false pride and snobbishness too quickly. If you are new comer accustomed to friendly-oriented social connections, you could feel very uncomfortable with the atmosphere for certain reasons. Some staff there could be more patient and friendly when answering questions. By the way, an old Chinese guy occupied one table, not allowing me to use it. He also insulted me with "I do not think you are able to play" although his skills are kind of low. I have never met such a rude person in other table tennis clubs.

My son (6 years old) is in the Warrior Jr. Program (for 6-7 y.o.'s). He joined about 3 months ago and it has been everything we hoped for. We wanted him to learn how to protect himself and general self respect. We also were hoping it would help to instill life lessons/conversations that we have at home but, of course, helps to hear from someone other than mom and dad. This program does all of that and more! Teacher Randall has been an amazing addition to my sons life. He is the definition of a mentor/sensei. The way he connects with all the kids, is truly invested in helping them learn and grow, and seamlessly can run a class with all levels of focus from all different types of kids is amazing. The class assistant teachers are great too. It's cool to see them grow, as well. Dezmond is now a yellow belt (level 3). He's gotten more focused in class and at home. Also, he's gotten a lot better at speaking to his emotions through this. It's almost like the class is bringing him a lot of clarity on "life." Dezmond also gets to assistant teach the Little Warrior group - which he absolutely loves. I HIGHLY recommended Aim High.

We decided to throw his birthday there today, and boy was it not what we expected. When we first get there we are greeted with the lead for our event. He was thorough in his explanation of the details but only gave us 10 minutes to set up, and really didn't care whether we got done or not, just as long as he got his list out of things that he needed to say out. During the party he told us that he would get the kids at the table to eat with 30 minutes to spare. After they were all forced to clean up and wash their hands, that left 20 minutes to eat and do cake. With 15 minutes left, he then announces to the entire group (us, the kids, and our guests) that we had to be out of the space and cleaned up in 15 minutes. He then proceeded to announce that loudly every five minutes. We tried to get the kids to eat quickly and do cake, but everyone knows that it takes a while to get them to finish eating. With 5 minutes left he proceeds to walk into the middle of the eating area and tell us we have to be out in 5 minutes while he actively took down our table set ups. At this point us and the guests were beyond uncomfortable and started awkwardly rushing to throw anything we could into the boxes we brought. Every guest was helping and trying to get out. With 3 minutes left he did the most unprofessional thing thus far. Our autistic daughter was the only one left at the cleared table, eating the last few bites of her cake. He made her get up and told her she had to be done and then PULLED THE TABLECLOTH OFF OF THE TABLE! I was so upset and blown away at how rude he was being, especially to the kids. He then walked over to the second table and proceeded to pull the cloth off while three boys were finishing their cake. I finally had enough and told him I would clear it (mind you, our time wasn't up). Then he looked at the boys when I was still cleaning up and sternly said "you guys have to put on your shoes now!" And for his final act, he proceeded to fold the chairs and turned on the vacuum while the guests were putting on their shoes in the front area! We couldn't even say goodbye to anyone because of how loud it was. Everyone at the party was in shock at how harsh he was being. He ABSOLUTELY ruined the party and we were mortified in front of our guests. I got in the car and started crying. Before anyone thinks, well there must have been another party....There wasn't. By the time I drove away after crying, it had been 10 minutes and the place was empty besides the employees. They just wanted us out at exactly the time and didn't care about giving us even an extra minute to clean up. By the way, we would have been happy to pay for extra time to clean up. We have three kids and have thrown many parties. This, by far, was the WORST experience we have ever had. I even texted my guests after to apologize for the situation. The sad part is we were thinking of putting our son in regular classes, and definitely returning for summer camp. That will never happen now. They lost us as customers and all of our guests that had sons interested in classes as well. I highly do not recommend throwing your kids party there EVER!

If you're looking at both Skyhook and Revolution trying to decide, the main difference for kids is Revolution is more "chill" - there's less noise, color, flashy equipment. There's also more "groupings" for age ranges, so the little kids don't end up with the big kids. This was perfect for us.

Literally, two days later and no service has been provided (the class doesn't start for weeks). I was told it's part of their terms. When I reminded her I have never been provided her terms, not did I make any agreement to them, she emailed me a copy of the terms. I would not do business with any school this shady. You can even cancel at state schools and colleges if you do it within the timeframe (which they provide upfront).

It's close to Multnomah Village which is how I discovered it after visiting the food truck area and wanting someplace serene to enjoy my meal. Park right on SW Spring, just be mindful of not blocking the neighbors driveways as it's in a residential area. Close to SW Barbur.

We went on a sunny day and it wasn't over crowded. -1 star for personal reasons: my daughter is young (19 mo) and was able to swing on the baby seat swing, however, she was not confident to try the older play structure. The structure seems more appropriate for 2.5 and older. It has a pretty cool rock climber for older kids. My experience makes me wonder if there are parks in Portland that are more inclusive for all children and their abilities? I hope that Portland Parks and Recreation would be willing to rethink how they can be more inclusive when designing a park. I will be the first to admit I know nothing about building a park, but If I did I would want everyone to feel included.
