The temperatures are in the 30s at night, but I have not turned my heat on yet while I try to find someone to repair my furnace. I'm cold, pissed, and don't understand how you stay in business when you treat customers like this.

John needed to bring in water & sewer into the building. He had to plumb the bathroom, laundry area & kitchen. He also had to run new propane lines for our cooking stove, Vt Castings propane heater & on demand hot water. It came out perfect. A couple of years later, he had to install a new boiler and all new piping along with all new plumbing for an old house I bought in Huntington. He also ran propane for a clothes dryer, and on demand hot water heater and cooking stove. Again the results were perfect. Recently he installed a water purifying system under our kitchen sink so that we did not have to buy water again. In each and all of the 'jobs' he has done for us, his work is well thought out with money saving recommendations on appliances. His work is impeccable so there is never concern about the safety of all he does. I certainly would recommend him to help anyone who is looking for a very knowledgeable person in his trade. Had a scare last night with the carbon monoxide detectors going off. We had Columbia Gas come out…read moreand they said it was probably the boiler or some sort of venting issue. We left for the night and called Baystate Comfort this morning (between 7am- 8am). James was at our home between 8:30-9am!! He was able to repair the issue, but warned us that our furnace is on borrowed time. He was very knowledgeable while explaining the process of a replacement and how it would benefit our home. He also was patient answering all of our questions about other options (routine maintenance, duct tape, prayers, etc :). In the end, he will be sending us a quote for a new furnace and hot water heater in one system, and we are working on setting up a game to pay for it. When he arrived, he noted that it had to be replaced as it was corroded at the bottom (and water was leaking). He purchased one and had it installed the next day! I know not everybody is always able to make accommodations like that, but I appreciate him taking my small children into consideration. He was reasonable, reliable, and efficient. After he completed the job, he also followed through the next day by checking in to make sure everything was working properly!
