This place is so cute and unique! My family and I were visiting St. Augustine and saw a donut shop when we were walking in the downtown area, so we had to hit it up. Thank god we walked in when there weren't any other people in the shop. We definitely took a long time trying to choose which flavors to get. Since there are literally SO many choices you can get, we decided to get the dozen of whichever donuts we could choose. The flavors I can remember exactly: Apple pie, blueberry pancake, coffee cake, Oreo cheesecake, strawberry cheesecake, Elvis, peanut nutter, snick jagger, butterfinger, and others to make it up to twelve (we did get two of the same ones though). Considering they do decorate the donuts to order, they did take a little bit to come out, but they were fresh and hot when they did arrive! We immediately grabbed a table and dug in, since we didn't want to carry any around with us for the rest of the day. My favorites were any of the ones with peanut butter or candy bars. The rest were good, but I feel like most of them I was done with after a bite or two. They were sweet and rich, but I love sweet and rich, but some of the flavors just weren't hitting like the peanut nutter or butterfinger one lol. They certainly weren't cheap either. They are pretty small; we were trying to take small bites so that all five of us could get a little of each donut (so you can guess how well that went over lol). They are on the mini donut side for their size Quite strict with the bathrooms. They need to unlock the code for you instead of giving it to you like their bathroom sign says They forgot to make the coffee for a while and had to remind them. The 2 employees that were there admitted to forgetting to make the drink. So I wouldn't go back for the service but would for the mini donuts. Cute little gourmet donut shop that reminded me of one back home. It's got this fun hippy vibe and it's very vibrant. They have a section of cute things they sold as well. The selection of donuts they had were wild! I had a hard time picking which ones to get since they were mini size. I ended up going with cookies and cream and classic sugar. All of the staff were super helpful, I wanted to try a latte and had no idea what to get since, I am not a coffee person. They walked me through and helped me get the right thing. I got a sugar free caramel latte made with almond milk, and I added cream. We picked up doughnuts. They are mini and perfectly sized. They had great options for toppings. We stopped buy in November and loved the fact that they have little donuts! The shop is a good size with inside seating and you have to order as you enter the shop. It can get a but confusing as the cash registers are further down, but you don't have to get thereto order. If you have not been to this place in St. Augustine, which is located right across from restaurant Casa Reina you need to make your way there over there now!!!! This was one of cutest little donut/coffee shops I have ever been to too. And their donuts soo amazingly good and they are the perfect size. You get a box of 6 in each box. PLLD I feel like is a community staple. They're located right in the heart of Old St Augustine and besides having delicious donuts, their mission and what they stand for is admirable. We've tried a little of everything and was honestly very VERY pleased with each flavor. The dough is good quality, flavorful, and made fresh. Gave Peace Love and little donuts a try this morning. Ordered a half dozen to sample. Which is tough when they have so many varieties to try. I ordered an Americano to wash them done.;) The donuts are smaller than a typical but not overly small. Think 4 decent bites size. The donuts were light, not dry or overly sweet themselves. The glazing on top were wonderful. I had to get two maple bourbons. Excellent! I believe I got a banana foster and a banana split. Loved them. When I eat the remaining 3. I guess I'll have to update my review. Another thing I liked about the place is it's right next door to the French treat shop that I always stop in for a crème brûlée. Started a new Christmas "tradition" of going to St. Augustine sometime during Christmas season. Was a wonderful experience especially at nighttime. We only stayed overnight, the following morning went to the Castillo for a walk with our "bodyguard" 14 lb pomapoodle, Toby!. After our walk we needed a coffee and light snack before hitting the road. We saw a quaint donut shoppe right across the street and wandered in. It was after breakfast rush and not quite lunch time as we ordered a coffee each and moved to a table. My sweetheart was interested in the tie-dye merch wall. She became quickly attached to a sweatshirt; Merry Christmas darling!!. We then sampled the mini donuts and were amazed how awesome they were. perfect size to go with a great brew coffee. Our counter person( did not get her name, my bad) was incredibly gracious in explaining the business concept while making our coffee. We will be back next year for another experience. So many flavor options! I didn't even try to count, but they had pretty much any flavor imaginable. You order at the front and then they make your donut to order with your selected toppings. They were mostly normal flavor combinations, didn't really see any weird ones. It was a little chaotic in the store and the process was a bit disorganized, but no worries, and we eventually were able to pay and get our donuts. The donut were good. I was hoping they were a bit warmer, but it tasted like they had been sitting for a little bit. I really like the size. I would say the size is a bit bigger than a normal mini donut, but still perfect for one person. I got the Samoa donut and it tasted reminiscent of a Samoa but definitely more heavy on the chocolate.
