They're thieves! I contacted them around July/ August of 2024 to treat a new home that I had moved into for roaches, spiders & wasps. The technician came out for the initial treatment, but never returned for follow ups; however, I received a very high bill months later for appointments that never happened. I called their office to get specific dates that technician claimed to have come out and when I checked my cameras for technician visits on dates provided, there was no sign of a technician being at my home. Furthermore, I work from home and I have dogs, so if a technician was on my property, I would have known because my dogs would have gone crazy. I pressed the customer service agent and asked why technician would show up without me knowing and why wouldn't he ring the bell or leave a door tag to show that he was on site. Agent told me that they don't notify customers when they're coming out and they don't leave door tags to let you know they came out for service. WTH?! So after I informed agent that a technician never came to my home outside of the initial visit, they offered to "split the bill" with me. Meaning, I pay half of it and they will credit half, which was unacceptable. No way will I pay for services not provided. This company is unscrupulous, they lack integrity, honesty and professionalism. Stay away from Peachtree Pest Control! They are perfectly fine with demanding that customers pay them for a service that they know they didn't provide. read more

I think the original owners of PestBan must be very sad to see their business go to hell after selling to Anticimex. A bit of a back story. We had PestBan for 8years. They used to be an excellent service. We would be notified when they visited by leaving a notice of service. We didn't have bugs living in our home and the wasp population was kept at bay. But since being purchased by Anticimex the service has been a total fail. Literally had roaches running AT me in my office. No one would tell me they are coming to treat, just get a bill. Seriously not even sure they showed up. Literally called the office about a half dozen times and had them come to treat and watch, but even so still had roaches IN my house. Not cool. We moved to Urbanex and within 1 week I found 6 dead (like upside down not running or kicking) roaches. Haven't seen another one alive since. Also, the wasps are gone. I really wonder what I was paying for all those years! I DO NOT recommend Pestban or ANY Anticimex company. Do yourself a favor and avoid them like the plague. read more

Waste of money...I called because of a small beehive outside my home. I've been using this company for over three years as my home comes its their program...I called as I wanted to see what is the process for removing a small beehive at the top tier of my home. First customer serviced informed me they didn't give prices over the phone. I'm like that's crazy your not going to send someone to my home with me having an indication of the Price. She said it will range from 500 up...depending on the size. Absolutely ridiculous I wish I had a picture to show you the small hive..showed up one day last week.I've had problems with this company before saying they came to my house and just come out and put a notification the door without a full inspection which is why I have cameras now. My experience with Pest Ban and their family of companies has been one of the worst vendor experiences i've ever had. In November of 2023 we hired PestBan to get rid of roof rats that had infested our house from overhanding trees. Throughout the course of the service, which cost several thousand dollars, i encountered: 1. Perhaps the biggest issue is that we still have rats! Four months later and the rats have effectively beaten and outsmarted the company whose sole job is to get rid of them! 2. Overpromise and under delivery -- the technician providing the quote assured me that they would not stop until the job was done and the rats were gone. They would work top to bottom and inside / out to get the job done. Boy did this not happen! 3. Maybe the worst communication i've ever seen -- following each appointment i asked for a follow up appointment and tried to set dates to get exclusions and cleaning / deodorization done. This never happened! Not once! Every time i had to call them myself to schedule the next service or i would never hear back. Each time i complained and the issue never got fixed. 4. Not our job -- I was told multiple after pointing out new entry / exit points for the rats that Pest Ban doesn't handle that and that i'd have to find a different vendor. This wouldn't be such a big deal if the technician didn't promise comprehensive service. 5. Low quality work -- You would think that Pest Ban would be good at their only job -- finding and closing off the rat entry points. But boy was that not the case. After each visit i went around and found places that they missed and had to call them back out and point out the gap. Even their own technicians made repeated comments such as, "i'm not sure how they missed that. It's really obvious". This went on for at least 4 visits in a row. So, in summary, find a better vendor! Pest Ban will charge you a lot and leave you with a lighter wallet, a list of complaints, and a house full of rodents. read more

I have had Pestban since 2016 and never really had problems and they would come out when I called when I had pest control and termite monitoring. Moved into a new house in 2020 and decided to use them again but only for the termite monitoring. Ever since 2021 they have increased the prices drastically every year upon renewal. Finally got my 2023 renewal and was shocked that it has gone up over $140 in three years and that was just for the termite inspections each year for 8 min worth of checking. Like other people are saying I have tried calling and you sit on hold and nobody answers. I left two voicemails and still never got a call back. Finally emailed them and I know I might be impatient with the email, but I expected some thing back within 30 hours of the email being sent seeing as though I have called multiple times prior and nothing. Again, they used to be very responsive, but it seems like ever since they have been bought out by another company the Service has gone downhill. Got another quote from another company and they were quick to answer the phone and had a quote the next day for much cheaper. read more

I have been using Pestban since the purchase of my home in 2004. I received a call from Customer service indicating that I owed them money and my service was frozen for Pest Control. I have auto payment set up but it seems the card on file expired and no one notified me. ON the call I inquired about my Termite Bond...they informed me that it was out of contract since 2018? Up until the fall they have checked my traps so how could this be. they then said in 2020 a technician came out and checked the traps...Either way they offered to give me a new quote to buy service not reinstate me...I'm calling getting quotes from their competitors, as their service management is not what I expect at the end of 19 year relationship... Trying to get a Manager on the phone is almost impossible... read more

I have been using this company for three years as my home came with their program. First had an issue with person not doing service just dropping note on my door and charging me while he sat in the truck.. which I why I got cameras. Next I called to see the process of removing a small beehive which showed up two days ago.. first the agent didn't want to give me price over the phone -- she mentioned we don't give out prices so you want me to have someone to come to my home without even an inclination of what the costs would be-- as I thought my service came with that -- and I have terminate control as well. as I pressed she mentioned anywhere from $500 on up. Our new construction home came with termite bond assigned to Peachtree Pest Control/Pestban, LLC. The contract was to begin on the day of closing, 1/3/2024 - their signature was in the closing documents with the date of closing. A neighbor said they had bait stations around the house - none were at our home. In February I called to find out what was going on. The rep said they hadn't installed the stations because they couldn't reach us, then she went into a sales pitch for adding other services. The only way to get her off the phone was to agree to review the junk she email to me. They got the stations installed on 2/22/24 . The sales calls continued and I ignored them. On November 4, I got the first renewal notice - 2 months prior to our closing anniversary - almost 4 months before the anniversary of them actually installing the bait stations. The renewal notices have been coming in emails and snail mail. The renewal is $350! I've been paying $200 with my other company for 9 years and they just now increased to $215. When I asked Pestban why they were billing me in Nov when the stations had not been installed (as contracted) until 2/22/24, they said that we were 'covered' from the date of closing, 1/3/24. Kinda shows you that termite contracts are a big money maker and this company is pressuring clients for all they can get. Funny that Pestban would 'cover' us without bait stations. We hired Pestban for pest control.They showed up on 4/26/22 and are to come every 3 months for further treatments. I have left 2 maybe 3 messages on their phone and no one calls back. I want to know when my next treatment is being done. So far, I'm disappointed in their lack of response to me, the customer. I'm not sure I would recommend them since they seem to have a communication problem . I just wanted to let folks know. read more

Me and my husband decided to not renew our service with pestban and they needed to come and remove the devices from the yard,However this was scheduled about a month before they show up to remove them The guy comes out hoping that we were not home and I just so happen to catch him. He proceeded to tell me that he does not have grass seeds to put down so the grass would grow back in the places that the devices are being removed. They never told us that over the phone or we could have easily gotten a bag of the grass seeds so now our yard looks hideous with patches in it. Terrible in many respects. It's so disappointing. We still have ants, mosquitoes and bugs. When you call customer service, you either have to wait for a LONG time or leave a message. But after leaving several msgs over approx 5 days, they still haven't called back. They have come back for additional visits but whatever they are using is not effective. If you don't want termites, call anyone else. I've had termites for 3 years and had no clue. They check traps but check nothing else. The termite traps are trash. Quite frankly I'm not sure why you want to draw termites to you home. Now they come up with a "1 year version" and don't check your house at all. Termites build everywhere. It's not your job as a consumer to know what that looks like when you hire a company to do so. Anyway, I found out the hard way and a lawsuit will be coming soon. Where to begin... My first service with pestban was for my lawn. My driveway was stained with whatever they put out. They attempted to clean it to no avail. Second, I have a fenced in back yard that is locked. I requested for pestban to call before coming so that I can unlock the gate. I got home one day with a pestban service sheet in my front door stating that they did an entire lawn service... The gate was locked... 3/4 of my lawn is in my backyard. They were charging me for something that didn't get done. I went through customer service and got it corrected. The next service, no call before arriving in my driveway again. I cancelled the service. Fast forward to the next year, I called to give them another chance to which the manager said he would not do my lawn ever again... Cool. We had the same issue of pestban showing up without notice with the other branches as well. It clearly reads on my file, and on each sheet given to the guys that come out, to call before they come. After several more instances we finally got a bug and termite guy was wonderful and always called in advance. Now that he is gone, we are back to pestban showing up without notice. The last time, at 8am with no notice of even having an appointment, ringing the doorbell for 10 straight minutes, waking up my 6 month old. I would not let him in to do anything and I immediately called customer service. When the first lady I spoke to gave me an attitude, I asked to speak with her boss. After a couple more remarks from her, she hung up on me. After speaking with several former employees from this company, and seeing how the company operates first hand, it is very clear that there is a major communication issue from the people you speak to on the phone and the people that show up at your house. I truly believe that it is a reflection of poor leadership and management. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. I also expect whoever this online c.s. rep is to respond to my review. To you I say this; if you wish to disagree with anything I have stated, I have full documentation and pictures to back everything in this review. We've moved in a new home in 2018. The builder paid for 1 year service with PestBan. The last two services I've personally observed how the technician arrived at the house, dropped the bill in the mailbox, spent another 10 min in the vehicle then left. I tried speaking with a manager but no success. Fast forward 2 years, I've tried giving them another chance today 6/22/2021. The technician gave me an outrageous quote just to restart the service....when i asked him why is so high he said "you have an old house"..... I should have know better..... stay away from this company. They did not learn during all 2020 how important customer service is. read more

I would like a courtesy text message before each appointment. Sometimes you miss emails or overlook voicemail. I wish text messages were standard. Other than that, they do a pretty good job. I especially appreciate them sweeping down any cobwebs or the like from my outdoor patio ceilings (front & back). I also like that you can call them on demand, in between services, if you're having an issue with pests. I did have to hire another pest control company, BREDA PEST, because after moving into my new home which was on the market for a few weeks there were lots of critters to eliminate. read more

Pestban has been servicing my Lilburn home since June 2021. Although the technician at been coming I was still having insect issues until I started sending them pictures of the insects at my home. Finally they sent out someone that was able to help. But my real problem with pestban came later. I called in December to let them know that I had moved and to cancel the policy. Then in January they serviced my home and charged me 85$ fee even though it was their mistake. read more

Horrible experience! Charge your card without providing service. I didn't sign an agreement purposely because of my previous experience with them but elected to do monthly payments because my builder uses them as their vendor for termite control. After I made them aware of me not having a contract with them, I was given a bogus final charge that they claim I owed although they hadn't services me for several months! I should have learned my lesson first time around, but you can believe I will NEVER use their service again! read more

We had quarterly outside pest control and the termite bond with them. I looked back at the 5 years we've been here to see how the annual fee had gone up. It went way up, almost double. I called to inquire and their response was "we bought out several companies and wanted to adjust the prices to be more uniform across the board". My response was "so you went the higher route and not the lower route in the current economy?" Silence. They offered to do away with the 2024 increase of $26. And, they don't come out and check on the termite traps annually unless you call them which I did last year but ended up calling twice to get them out here. And the increases on the quarterly outside service and the tubes were $75 a quarter but now up to $110ish. The guy that came out every time was super pleasant and I will miss him. We switched to another company. Sticks houses cannot be put on cruise control when it comes to termites. Paying $500 annually with no follow up annually by a tech is just unacceptable. read more

Had my yearly termite inspection this year and like Patrick S review, Pest Ban keeps increasing the price YOY. We paid $311 last year and Pest Ban tech notified us this year that the inspection was half done last year. He replaced 3 termite stations that were old and out of date. I called the office to let them know what had happen and Pest Bans answers was, it had already been a year and there was nothing they could do about it. So Pest Ban reaped the $311 dollars for a half inspection and then told me it was to late. So basically Pest Ban took a $155 from me, for service unrendered. After being with them since 2013, this is how a loyal customer is treated. This will be my last year with them. I'm almost tempted to call the local news and tell them the story of how I was cheated. In these uncertain times, we shouldn't cut corners as companies to make profit. As consumers we work hard for our money, we expect service rendered when complete, to find out after we paid a year later ... that it wasn't. read more

Horrible customer service experience!!! I canceled automatic renewal but they continued to service two additional times. On the 2nd trip they left Bill I immediately called to refute and remind that I canceled. I was told that it would be handled and Pestban and I went our separate ways. Months later I get bill for the two service trips after my cancellation. I call again and was told it would be handled disregard. Months later I get 3rd letter stating bill would be turned over to collections!!! I called and demanded charges corrected. I ended up paying half against my will to avoid it going to collections and to be done with Pestban. read more

I have to say Pest ban has been out multiple times to treat for piss ants. If we leave one bread crumb on the floor we will have a stream of ants coming in under the walls. What ever they are using does not get the job done. I would not recommend at all , their treatment is a waste of money. Very disappointed. I contacted Pest Ban and they were out the next day to make it right. They are adding additional treatments and are promising scheduled follow assuring me that this will get handled. read more

Overall a relatively good pest control company. We used them in our Newnan home for five or six years. I would say customer service was tolerable until you complain about something and then pretty good thereafter. I generally don't trust anyone who automatically renews contracts (which they do) because everyone I know who does that tends toward taking customers for granted or worse. If I needed a pest service and could deal with this I would certainly keep them in the running. Edit: (Business did contact us later about the renewal process and I give them credit for doing that. The customer centered initiative would have been a phone call on the anniversary date. Whether it's an automatic renewal or a continue until cancelled agreement, it is functionally identical to the customer.) read more

After my experience earlier this week, I can highly recommend PestBan. I previously used a company many owners in our neighborhood were using and was disappointed with their service. I had a couple of companies come out and quote me and Allen's quote from PestBan was hands down the winner. PestBan repaired and retreated some old bad spot where the former company drilled into my front porch and back slab. The technician, Jessie, was very knowledgeable and made me feel at ease just as I did when Allen came out for the quote. The work was done with new traps set and old removed in a timely manner. I got a letter from Elaine in their office to send to our HOA without any difficulty as it was something we discussed I needed as part of the quote. This office really appears to work as a family and deliver customer care. Its super refreshing to know companies actually know their business and care about making the end user comfortable. We experienced an issue with millipedes due to heavy rains. We contacted our service " Pestban" and reported it. Within 24 hours we had a service call as part of our contract. Decided since they have gotten worse in the past year to cut them lose from my personal residence and my rental properties. They have had a huge noticeable decline in customer service and the last increase in prices stopped it for me, shopped around and gave them the notice this past week to stop all of it.. The fact that they don't even bother to try to compete and improve when someone pays them $5k a year for services on his properties shows they have a big gap to overcome.
