Our neighborhood was infested with ants. So much that some even sold their home to get away from the unbearable conditions. Everyone tried different pest control companies with mixed results; the ants would leave for awhile and then come back in force. One day while filling my car with gas I approached this fellow who worked at Urban Pest Control and discussed my situation. His knowledge was by far better then any company I ever dealt with. Even though it was the end of his day he followed me home and inspected, he identified the ant and explained their behavior. Gave me a price quote that was half the cost of previous companies we used. Plus they added Termite protection at no additional cost. The "ant control program" included them returning and treating on set intervals. They installed ant bait stations around my house and returned weekly to refill.3 weeks into the program and the ants were gone. I recommended them to my neighbors and within a few months so many had signed up with them, Our entire neighborhood was ant free, 5 years later we still have them treating our house and we remain ant free. We have now been using the services for a year. It seems strange to have pest control to only treat our home every six months. The real shocker though, the inside treatment don't smell like a male cat marked his territory throughout the house. In fact it has no odor. Through the years we have been suffering with tiny ants that seem to multiply 10 times each hour. We probably see Urban 4 times a year (2 scheduled visits and 2 visits when we have unwanted silverfish or ladybug visitors). We are pretty picky customers, but we were blown away by Urban Pest Control and their technician Walt. He was thoroughly professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He patiently explained the issue we were having (German roaches), how they lived and reproduced, and how he would get rid of them, and what to expect. He said it might take several treatments to get rid of them completely, but they have a six month guarantee and will return anytime for free during that time for new treatments.
