This was my 3rd visit to Peachy (but my first to this location) and I love the concept and have always been happy with the results. This location in particular is so convenient for me to where I work so it seemed like a no brainier to try it out. I am disappointed to say this was probably the worst Peachy treatment experience that I have had (still not bad but not as good as my previous ones). This time there were actually several injections that hurt, not just a little sting but actually painful. When I walked out of my treatment I was very red and pretty swollen in places and this didn't calm down after icing for 15 minutes. I woke up the next day with 8 bruises (especially bad around my eyes) which has never happened before. The bruising was so bad that even with corrector, concealer and a tinted moisturizer people have asked me about it. The ones around my left eye in particular were painful to touch which I have not experienced before. I do understand that there is a risk of bruising with the treatment but this amount of bruising seemed excessive, especially mixed with the discomfort of the treatment itself. A minor point but also when I arrived the place smelt very strongly of paint as maintenance was being done. It wasn't the end of the world but the smell was slightly overwhelming. All in all I would recommend Peachy, my previous experience has been AMAZING (and my treatment has lasted about 5 months each time). I may try this location again with a different nurse practitioner as it is just so convenient. If not though both the Brooklyn Heights and West Soho spots are great and everyone I have seen (both for treatments and dose adjustments) have been lovely. This was my first visit at Peachy. The staff was friendly and I liked how my injector gave me a treatment breakdown based on the results I was looking for. She did let me know that to get the pricing they advertise, they use Jeaveou. If you want brand Botox it's an extra $150. I opted for the Jeaveou to see if I like it. I'm giving 3 stars because I ended up with really bad bruising around my right eye, temple, and middle of my forehead. I can also still feel bumps at some injection points, and it's been 3 days since I got treated. The injector didn't seem that comfortable using the needle... not sure if she was new or if the space was too cramped so she had to move in certain ways to get to certain spots on my face. I've gotten Botox more than 4 times and never had bruising before. Waiting for my results to kick in so can't say I would go back yet, but I would probably opt for a different injector next time. I have been a loyal customer of Peachy for a few years. I started at Manhattan West and last year switched to the new location at Grand Central. My experience has been nothing less than stellar. It has been a 5 star experience. I am one of those people who metabolizes toxins very quickly and it wears off after 2 months. Because of this, it is not economically feasible to pay full price anywhere. Dysport gives me the best results, as it kicks in the fastest. I am giving them 3 stars now because they recently changed their entire pricing structure and raised their prices for certain brands by almost 30% overnight! When I first started going to Peachy, they charged $375 and offered a referral discount of $50 for new customers with a code and $100 for the referrer. My first visit was through a referral and I paid $325. I then referred someone and paid only $275. Subsequent visits were $375 until they upped their prices to $425. I was OK with that. I just went on 9/1 for Dysport and when I came for my 2 week touch up yesterday the lovely NP informed me that I had made it just in time, as the prices had gone up on 9/2. Now they are charging a whopping $150 extra for Dysport and branded Botox! Xeomin and Jeauveau remain $425. I was floored to hear this! I checked the website and the disclaimer is in very small print. I think this is a very shady and deceptive business practice. An extra $50 I can understand but $150? I have not yet decided if I want to change toxins, suck it up, or look for a new provider, but I am starting to shop around. I am very sad and disappointed. read more
