I am so disappointed in the JECT team. I have experienced a number of last minute cancellations from the NYC base team, but the flexibility/availability of other team members to take the appointments helped. However, today I get a text from this team for a procedure I have (for next week!!!) at their Upper East Side location that I booked over four months ago was cancelled. Why? Because they, at the last minute, decided to move their specific machine for this procedure to the Hamptons for the summer. I was stunned. Non-refundable airfare - down the drain. Such an incredibly irresponsible and unprofessional decision - all for the sake of their potential appointments for socialites in the Hamptons. Completely unacceptable. I went to the UES location. The slick social media campaign and reasonable prices lured me in. For the UES location, it's basically small rooms separated by curtains. Not horrible, but I wish there was a better way to ensure privacy. Staff would come in and out of the area - not fully close the curtain - so basically I could see what other people were doing and they could see me. Staff seemed somewhat rushed - I get the whole concept is kind of like the fast fashion of the cosmetic dermatology industry. I knew what procedure I wanted, but I also wish the staff person went over the process, procedure, etc. I wasn't even told aftercare instructions. It was fine for this context, since I knew what I wanted. But it makes me hesitant to try anything new with them that I have no experience with because I fear they would not spend enough time with me to answer my questions or give me good aftercare advice. I did like they seemed non sales-y. Would I go back? Probably. Prices are reasonable and I am curious to see what it's like as a repeat customer. I do think bedside manner could be improved, as well as explanation of procedures and prices. Prices are openly displayed online, but I think more open conversation prior to the procedure is better, just to avoid any surprises (as other reviews have mentioned). Also, they give you a discount for a future procedure if you give them a google review. Take that as you will when you read reviews . I'm so disappointed to be writing this review. I've been going to JECT for Botox for a year now and have had good experiences. Recently, I booked an appointment to have lip filler dissolved from a previous med spa. I called to schedule and asked for a price for the service, I was told $450 and I have a membership so I know it would be a little less than that. During the injection, they mentioned I had a lot of filler but did not say they were doing two full vials of the dissolver so when I went to pay I was looking at a price tag of almost $900! I was upset that they did not let me know what they were doing and that it would be so much more, especially since their Botox prices are per area, not per unit. I mentioned that transparency would have been nice but paid anyways. I was told a manager would call me the following Monday to check in and talk about my experience- I never received a call. I unfortunately won't be going back other than to receive my complimentary facial with my membership and I won't be renewing my membership. Very sad as I did enjoy this place, but I can't be caught off guard with double the price without a conversation. Not to mention my filler isn't even fully dissolved, so I need to go have this done again- not their fault but nonetheless. read more

Today I had my biggest facial aesthetic nightmare at JECT - Christopher Street Branch. I'm posting this review as civilized person as possible. Here's what happened: Treatment: Wrinkle Reducer Service Practitioner: Maggie I was so early to my 3:00 PM appointment - Dec 13, 2022. It's my second appointment at JECT as I loved my first experience last August 2022. That's why, I decided to do my wrinkle reducer routine with them again. As I seated on the reception area, I was escorted to my assigned cubicle. A medical assistant took my photos. I forgot her name. She was really nice. We had a little talk and I mentioned I want to have Botox by Allergan to be used for my treatment. And then Maggie (service practitioner) came in to talk about my concern. I told her, my concern is still the same. My forehead area and I want to add my 11 area as I didn't have it treated the last time. Also, I didn't want to put on sides of my eyes as It doesn't work on me. It makes me look wide-awake. The most important thing, I mentioned to her I just want Botox by Allergan to be used on me as I truly love the product for years and I want to use my Alle Points. The treatment went well at first. We even talked about other products of Allergan such as Volumna fillers and how great the product works. It was a breezy session without me knowing that she was using Jeuveau product on my face. Which was already be considered a medical malpractice. After the treatment, I stayed in the cubicle for a while as I waited for my slightly swollen forehead to subside a bit. And then the nightmare started when I went to the reception to settle my bill. The receptionist (Jordan) told me my bill $??? and I immediately mentioned I wanted to use what's on my Alle account. He said Maggie used Jeaveau. Suddenly, I felt a boiling water poured into my being even though it's winter time. I was still holding my composure and told him : "Why is that? I told her just to use Allergan." He excused himself from reception and talked to Maggie. He came that it was my fault with a twisted story that I told Maggie - I told her Botox didn't work on me. That's why, she used Jeaveau on me. LIAR! I told her treating sides of my eyes didn't work on me as I didn't like the effect not the Botox product itself. Take note: If Maggie is telling the truth she should confronted me. But of course, she's lying. GUILTY PARTY! Jordan told me that he couldn't use my Alle points. What he could offer was to give JECT membership price. I threw my card on the floor. And my anxiety kicked in. Imagine: A medical practitioner performed a malpractice. She created a story that Botox by Allergan didn't work on me. So she just decided to give me Jeaveau? How convenient?! Jordan left the reception again when I threw my card on the floor. He said: "I'll see what else I could for you." He came back with a person named Nina. She greeted me: "How are you?" Me: "I'm not good." As if she wanted a better answer. They did various math before they charged me the service including using my Alle points even though they didn't use Allergan product! I told them I don't know what to do and what if I didn't like the effect of Jeaveau on me. She (Nina) just said just text us anytime. Again, how convenient! I will never go back to JECT again. First, they don't know how to listen properly with a convenience of twisting client's story. Most of all, they don't know how to handle patient's crisis who obviously had a WRONG service. read more

I actually came here based on an influencer I follow on social media. I know an "influencer" but she is truly not she is a small business owner for a beauty/wellness shop called chillhouse in the city. Sadden to find not so great reviews on Yelp as my experience has been so pleasant so far. I went there Wednesday and Molly was so informative and sweet. She guided me through everything, provided straight forward pricing and recommendations. They did not push anything on me at all. The staff was so friendly but their pricing model is bizarre. I ended up paying $689 for basic Botox in my forehead/crows feet. Rather than charging per unit they charge per muscle/area. I've had Botox at other places in Manhattan and have never encountered that before, typically the service would be $250-$350. I would understand if it was a luxury med spa but my service area had scuffed, dirty walls and each room is partitioned by a curtain. It wasn't a luxury experience so I'm just a little shocked that it could be so unnecessarily expensive. Not only did they see me immediately, but what was meant to be a short appointment turned into a lengthy conversation filtering through each part of my routine that could possibly use adjusting. I wasn't going to bother writing this but seeing that someone else had a similar experience to me, I want to include my feedback so other people are not put in the same uncomfortable position. I would not bother going to Ject for any service because they are not transparent about what they are injecting into your face. I had been to Ject several times before the discomfort with the entire scenario made me never want to return. Transparently, I have received better service at a fast food drive up. The entire thing is rushed, you are treated like cattle. The staff has a slight edge, and does not like answering questions about the product being used or amount of units they are injecting into your face. Each time I was there, the injector attempted to upsell additional areas that I did not want to treat. I was even told "if we inject this area in addition to the one you came in for, the results will be better". My Dermatologist refuted all of this after I decided never to go back to Ject. I have been to two injectors since leaving Ject - my dermatologist, as well as another local medspa. My results are better, last longer and I know exactly what is being injected into my face. If I am getting toxin injected into my face, I need to go somewhere that I can trust. Ject is not that place; there are several alternatives in the city that will treat you like a human. read more

WOW . . . Why did I wait so long to seek a solution for my old-looking neck? I cannot believe the results from my initial Botox neck treatment, and two weeks later, after my follow-up, results are incredible! Thank you, Team Ject! I am also incredibly pleased with results from earlier forehead Botox injections, underarm Botox injections for excessive dampness, and PRP treatment for thinning hair. I recently went to Ject in bridgehampton,NY . It is 2 weeks after the Botox injections and I my brow looks no different. I don't know what dose they inject but for the price it was useless. I am ecstatic! I've been going in for wrinkle reducer (Brad - does a phenomenal job) but this is the first time I've gone in for filler. I've gotten filler a few times from other MedSpas and wasn't so impressed. So I shrugged it off as a gimmick. Fast forward five years later and i start to think "maybe it's time to give fillers another shot". I went back to Ject and met with Dafna who went over with me what areas i thought were problematic. I sincerely, sincerely regret the day I stepped into Ject. It was my first time ever receiving botox, and the front desk staff and injector were made aware of that. Despite that fact, the injector attempted to upsell me repeatedly. Finally, we settled on about $800 worth of botox (I received the first time discount, so I paid about $650). The injector did not take her time with me at all- I felt completely rushed along. Now to the important part: the results are nightmarishly bad. So bad. SO, so so bad. My eyebrows have dropped despite getting a botox brow lift, and although my forehead no longer wrinkles, it instead juts out weirdly- almost like i have an implanted headband around my forehead? Or it looks mildly like they injected filler instead of botox? The results are downright WEIRD and it's put me off botox for a long time. Also, the office was disheveled and unkempt - dirt on the floor, couch cushions astray, dusty corners, etc. All of that I could have looked past, but the results make me genuinely sad to look in the mirror every day. She then told me that she only wants people to look pretty and natural. She was so nice, calm and knowledgeable. I recommend asking about pricing for your specific procedure before treatment. I went in for preventive wrinkle reducers, and while it was overall a really pleasant experience and the esthetician and assistant were really sweet, I was surprised when I left to pay that my total was $783 with membership pricing (first time customer lower rate). At other facilities (peachy and plump) per area would mean forehead and 11s. Here forehead, 11s, crows feet are all charged separately and I was charged the max for each area which is odd because the esthetician said twice how I had very little movement in my 11s which I would assume means less units would be required. I was not offered a receipt at checkout, so I expected I would be emailed one. After 24 hours of waiting for a receipt and not getting an email I decided to call and inquire what the breakdown was of my bill. The attendant tried to help me, but she also seemed confused about how the treatment areas worked. At other facilities I've had the same amount of botox, but the total was $375-$400. I'm still confused where this additional $400 is coming from especially knowing I got a reduced rate. read more

My treatment was a light peel. There was no visible difference to my skin and considering the treatment took 15 minutes or less, the price was outrageous. I could of had a one-hour European facial at Mario Badescu for $65.00 and achieved a much better result. I was told, obviously, to come back to get results, but I don't think so. read more

I have been a member of Ject for a couple of years now and I continue to be so impressed by the services provided but more importantly the professionalism and compassion the team there evokes. Whether it be Kara, Morgan, etc. the women there truly care and respect your individuality and budget. They educate and inform while treating you like a friend. There is no shame in how little or how much you can do in a session - they celebrate you all the same and just want you to feel your best. I will say in the original West Village location, the team was not as warm or inviting (my opinion) however this current team deserves a gold star!
