Food is always so consistent! I prefer this place to India 101. India 101 may have larger portions but Peacock's food is less oily, more flavorful, and I am full even half way through my meal. My husband and I popped in here spontaneously. I love spicy food but I could not handle my dish. I had a few bites then had to take it all to go. Biryani was Andhra style biryani , with cashewnut, and curry leaves. It was also tasty but I expected hyderabadi dum biryani.. anyways overall biryani was good in taste. We tried dosa too.. Why have something on the menu when it's not available? Will not be back as I'm sick and tired of the excuses every single time. No ice, no chicken, no (insert any item listed all over menu here.) Too bad because the food actually used to be very good in the beginning. Now meat items are all bone, poorly cut. Pakoras are more like crumbs, and naans are definitely frozen, not fresh. On Food: Food was delicious as nobody felt that they missed non vegetarian items and more over every single item was so delicious. On Service: They have taken our customized menu. Mr. Raghu took the time that was needed to assist us with menus but we went with our customized menu. He said that they cook all the items, which we have asked and more over he assisted with their one of chefs. They delivered(Mr.Mr. Prasad) delivered food on time to the location. You see most places open on MacArthur blvd with Biryani on menu but they don't maintain the consistency in taste or quality, not the case with this place and I hope they continue it. Iam a pregant woman so my husband told them to make all curries, starters mild but they are spicy and food is horrible ...and guess what !!! everybody in our family who went there became sick along with me that night and on top it food is super expensive though !!! I got catering service for 40 people for a birthday party/gathering. I haven't heard as many applauds about food in recent time by guests in recent times. The Okra Fry, Samber, Peacock Incheon Veggie, Veg Manchurian, Biriyani and all the curries were delicious. On top of these, the delivery service to the extent of setting up the trays in the kitchen is totally appreciable. And add to it, the quantities of all the menu items were really generous.
