Phenomenal taste!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!! Ordered curries, biryanis & snacks on different occasions. So far never had a bad experience. Quality & quality was good. Reasonably priced. They have a huge selection of savory snacks. Today we tried Pandalapaka apparao chicken pulav, natu kodi (country chicken) curry & ragi sankati (finger millet). Too good. I think this was their best so far I have tasted. Pulav was flavorful and seemed authentic to its name. Finger millet was nicely done without any lumps with right ratio of rice in it. Although the natu kodi (county chicken) was not actual country chicken, it left an undeniable taste. They followed a different way to make it. Curry was aromatic, rich in all the required spices and full of flavor. Loved it!!!

I like this place because of the diversity in its options (they serve up home made Indian snacks, desserts, entrees and even ready made batter for idlis and dosas). Their family owned and operated style shines on through and shows. They're purely a store/pickup joint, so don't expect to find a sit down restaurant where you can eat your meal. Their menu changes daily, so be sure to visit their website to see their offerings for the day before you go. There are some staples that they sell every day, like their pre-made batters. I opted to pick up the following on my latest visit there:- - Mullu murullu: Also called murukku in some parts of India, it's a popular snack in the South of India, it's fried batter made a mixture of rice flour and lentils. In terms of texture, they're crispy all round. Perfectly made and addictive, and not too oily. - Chicken done with a nice masala and plenty of curry leaves: Perfectly moist, and spicy, goes well as either an appetizer or a side for your rice or breads. - Carrot pickle: Pickled carrots not the way you'd find in a jar made by a company and placed in an Indian store. They're done the way you'd expect to find in an Indian home. Tangy and excellent to pair with curd rice. - Beetroot and carrot halwa (Two separate dessert dishes)- Halwa is a slow cooked dessert dish, and in India usually done with milk/ghee, sugar and nuts (cashews and sometimes almonds), with a main ingredient (in this case beets and carrots) and infused with spices (like cardamom and cloves). In any case both of the renderings I picked up here made with these two root veggies very perfectly balanced and not too sweet. I actually loved the cashews for texture even though I'm usually not a fan of pairing nuts with desserts. Pro tip: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to pair with the halwa. You're welcome. - Finally, I also grabbed a tub of dosa batter to make at home. Absolutely perfect, tub to hot pan, dosas are ready. I only docked them a point for their price point. I understand they are a family business and it'll be easier to bring those down based on scale, but for now, I'd say its a factor in keeping many away from making it a regular.

Too pricey for the quantity and the quality they provide - be it snacks or Indian sweets. Not worthy.

I haven't had vada pav sliders before but the filling is kind of like fried samosa filling without the dough. It's good. The serving size of the biryani was very impressive. You can see from the photo that they fill the container and then add another mound of rice on top of that - basically 2 servings (we took one home). And they didn't skimp on the chicken either! The chicken is cooked perfectly, the sauces are a great complement and this is an excellent dish. The Lunch Thali gives you a lot of bang for your buck and mine included ~5 pieces of fish fry, about the same amount of veg pakora, yogurt dip, chicken curry with rice, 2 different soups, a naan/tortilla thing, and a carrot dessert (like a halwa). All had good flavor and the soups have a nice spicy kick to them. However, since all the dishes for the thali come off the lunch line (ie all premade), the tortilla, fish and pakoras had been sitting out for awhile and not too hot. Had they come out fresh from the fryer, I might have given this experience 5 stars. As it stands, I'll probably be back for lunch anyways - and the thali is available 7 days a week!

I was greeted upon entering the establishment and was assisted by two of the workers. I explained that I was new to the area and not familiar with the menu. The one seemed uncertain about helping me and the other lady assisted me in choosing some items. I got the Butter Chicken, $12.99 medium, the garlic naan, $3.99, and a Pepper chicken fry, medium. The wait time was around 15 mins. The restaurant looked like it is well maintained and the bathroom looked maintained which is nice as they do reflect on any and every establishment. The dining area looked as if they set up for a buffet/family style meals, and there are about 3 tables for outdoor dining. Overall this was a pleasant experience and I'd say that the food was very pleasant in taste and appearance. As my order was ToGo, my expectations would be that the bag would have had plastic ware and napkins. This oversight was a major disappointment and a huge lacking to detail for a new patron and paying customer. I had to use the lids of the rice container as a makeshift spoon. Not very ideal and or it made for a poor dining experience. I'd not return to eat from Nizam's Kitchen 3601 Regent Boulevard Suite 140, Irving, TX, 75036

This time I went a bit all out and ordered the butter chicken momo, creamy Sichuan momo, tandoori momo, steamed momo, and the Delhi masala momo. Honestly, this visit was way better. Last time the biggest issue was the sauce, it just wasn't enough and everything felt pretty dry, but this time they really fixed that and the sauces actually showed up, which made a huge difference. Everything tasted solid overall, though it really depends on what you like since the flavors are pretty different across the menu. The momo wrappers are on the thicker side, so if you're someone who prefers a thinner skin, just keep that in mind because that was the case with all the ones I tried. My favorite ended up being the tandoori momo, even though it was a bit salty, the flavor was really good. I usually don't go for butter chicken momo, but that one surprised me, it was actually a hit and everyone at the table liked it. The Delhi masala momo was vegetarian and still packed with flavor, and the creamy Sichuan momo was also pretty good. The place was pretty busy when we went, but the service was quick, so overall this time it felt like a much better experience.

I ordered the paneer tikka masala and loved that they let you choose between naan or rice since I'm not much of a rice person. The paneer pieces were large and they give a generous portion. The sauce was very flavorful, and although I ordered medium spice, I probably could have handled hot. The naan is thinner rather than fluffy, but still really good. When I brought to the waiter, she said she would take the feedback to the kitchen and that they added the water to make the spicy goat curry that I ordered "not spicy". It seems to me like a tactic for cutting down portions, because if I asked for spicy, and I always get it one way, why suddenly add water ? Without me even complaining first that it is too spicy? I initially loved this place because of the quality. The Goat Curry was superb, the meat was incredibly tender and the curry itself was so rich and flavorful. It paired perfectly with the fresh Naan and Roti. I also really enjoyed the Mixed Pakora to start, and finishing the meal with their Chai and Gulab Jamun was the perfect ending. Beyond the food, the staff was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed throughout the night. It was a huge space and i loved the booth seating for my friend and I. If you're looking for delicious north indian flavors and great service, this is the spot!
