As someone who works in the construction industry, I will admit that roofing contractors have a very bad reputation. I interviewed many before I settled on Anchor Point for my residential roofing replacement project. Anchor Point came out to do the estimate, surveyed my entire roof, and provided a set of photos showing all of the marks that were written on the roof noting existing issues. No other roofing contractor did anything like that. Then there was the communication between myself and the owner wherein I asked a number of questions. He responded quickly to every email and provided detailed responses. The crew performed the work and completed the project a few hours in advance of the estimated completion time. When they were done, the cleanup was awesome. Anchor Point's on-site project manager, Ever, did an amazing job. He is also very personable which is great. Anchor replaced our shingle roof about 3 months ago, and the service and quality were amazing! We did our research on shingles, pricing, licensure, etc. and landed on Anchor. Their pricing for the quality of shingles used (Malarkey) was reasonable, the customer service was outstanding with responses to questions usually within hours (kudos to Sara), and they kept us informed of the work every step of the way. The coolest part was their use of a drone so we could see the work from the comfort of our home. The results were great and we've had zero issues with the installation. Anchor Point replaced my roof this week. I was pleased with them from start to finish. Their quote was competitive. They answered all my questions, and when it came time to do the work, Anchor Point was prompt to get started. My roof is steep. The space between my house and other houses is tight. I was not sure how they would do the work, but they did it. They replaced my roof in one day! I was given text updates and pictures during the project. While there was an additional cost to replace some boards, Anchor Point explained everything, and they were fair with the expense. Roof replacement is messy. Anchor Point did a fantastic job on a complete tear-off roof replacement for our old (c. 1917) six-flat. The crew worked long hours on hot days. They were absolute professionals, cleaning up at the end of the shift, answering questions, and making sure that everything was watertight during a couple of surprise rain showers. The estimate was thorough -- no surprise charges -- and Anchor Point provided on-site photos of the process, as well as drone pix at the end of the job. Roofing called for the old terracotta coping on our parapets to be removed and then replaced after the parapet was layered. Anchor Point did it without breaking a single tile! Jim came to our building to provide an estimate. He was very thorough and professional. My neighbor and I were trying to identify the source of a leak and thought it might be their deck. Another company had quoted us over $2,000 to do a water test. Jim did an assessment of the deck but also located three other possible sources of the leak. And then he suggested we perform the water tests ourselves and explained how he would go about doing it at each possible entry point, saving us a lot of money in the process. Recommend you hire them. Our condo building hired them to fix our flat roof leaks. The owner Jim come out and did the initial consultation for free. Then they scheduled us in a few weeks for the repair. They applied some silicone sealant on the clay copings and also around the scupper boxes by the downpipes. Now the leaking has stopped Prices were reasonable. The 33% deposit to start work was a bit high though. So i recommend they lower that deposit amount. read more

It's been quite a while since I hired them to fix a leak. They had timely contact and seemed very professional. I showed them where the leak was but they identified a different place where they thought the leak was and created a lot of work for themselves, fixing my roof in an area where it never leaked. They did do a nice job calking, though. The next winter, a leak again. It was never fixed. I called again and they came out, looked it over and disappeared. I never heard from them again. Here's another winter and I'm still dealing with the same leak and trying to find a different reputable roofer to just fix the area I point out instead some other part that is easier to do work on. read more

Had a very good experience with our tear off roof replacement. First, the person who came out to inspect the roof was very thorough and spent a good amount of time with me talking through what he found. He took a lot of pictures as well as a video in which he narrated his findings and really made me feel good about their understanding of our situation. Our roof wasn't just a replacement of shingles, it needed a more modern update such as adding vents, etc. Once we decided to accept Anchor Point's bid, we got on the schedule within about a month. Then when the crew arrived, the project manager was very present and communicative and they knocked it out in a day and a half. Very fast, but didn't sacrifice a quality job. With no commitment of any future work, Jim took a look at our roof from some pictures, and give us his professional opinion on the condition of our roof.
