I knew I had to commit and do this for myself, after not having a consistent workout routine for years. It was really easy to bounce back once I started coming here. I feel like a new person since joining this little community at Fit in 50! The Coaches are SO supportive and encouraging throughout every single class. They're also experts in their craft! I love the variety here, so every class always feels entirely new - focusing on different muscle groups each day, whether it be in a boot camp class or kickboxing. I always feel better after coming to class than when I walked in! I'm so excited to watch myself keep progressing into my best self! Thank you Fit in 50!

Sportime Lynbrook is an okay place. Do not send your kid here if they play basketball. They must get another court because no way I have to pay well over $200 a month to barely be able to go basketball court if your son or daughter plays basketball I would not recommend sportime until they get another court. It's not fair that people youse the basketball court for everything else besides basketball.

If something breaks, it's immediately fixed. The TVs have all the channels. Parking is decent and the staff is friendly. I have worked out at Fitness19, NYSC, and LA Fitness for years, but this is the right gym for me.

You can tell cleanliness is not there strong point. At the least hire a cleaning crew once a month. Everything's outdated. I guess you get what you pay for. It's 30 a month, but to put your membership on hold you have to pay and to leave the gym you have to pay $50. I always see several of the employees just chit chatting behind the counter. Friendly, but they could be cleaning.

I started to receive emails in June stating I had to update my credit card on file as my account was in delinquency and I owed $.. they kept trying to bill an old card I had on file. I called Fitness 19 in July and they said "Sorry about that, you only owe $30 for April and then we can cancel your account. So I pay. In August I get a phone call from a lawyer on behalf of Fitness 19 trying to collect my money. I called and spoke to the manager who said sorry the $30 never went thru so pay again and then we'll cancel your account. This place is a scam.

Mind you I'm not going and using the time I paid for because I'm confident they will cancel--she never gets back. I reach out to regional manager who takes well past the month to treat me again like I was lying about having cancelled -mind you at this point the month is over and I even said when I originally called (and emailed management) that if I'm still paid in without the possibility of cancellation, Id like to go and finish the month. They waited until the month was over. If they treat clients like this, imagine how they treat their staff! As per the actual club with its outdated broken-half the time equipment: There's only a few flat benches and one set of weights=long wait times even when it's not busy. There were times I had to hold up in the parking lot waiting for a spot. There are better gyms. Forget about how the bathroom smelled. Ick!

It's not a competitive setup, but you often find yourself being motivated to push through as you look at the splat points board. The coaches are also great at including modified versions of each workout for anyone who needs them and they happy to make adjustments to the routine for you if there's a health concern. Elite membership is currently offered at $119 and Unlimited is $179. They have specials depending on when you sign up. The OTF heart rate monitor was on sale when I signed up back in February. There are 2 options available in terms of style/wearing format. I'm working to attend more consistently but have already seen great results through the workouts and other lifestyle changes.

At one point over the summer he had to choose between soccer and karate, and it was a no-brained for him. They make you feel like family here and are so inclusive, which I love. I had to pull my son out for a bit because chess tournaments have now taken over his time, but once that slows down, we'll definitely be returning to UMA&F.
