He's been using the same crew for 9 years on every one of his jobs and visits the job site every day to ensure a smooth job. Working in the construction industry myself, I know how important the relationships with your crews are. When you work with the same crew for years, they understand your expections and your routine. Cody's communication was second to none and everything he promised, he made good on. He was on-site every day, multiple times a day, to check on the crew, their progress and check in with us. If anything was needed, Cody would jump in to ensure the crew had what they needed. Everything was delivered on time, from the shingles to when the crew arrived and even finished a day ahead of schedule. The crew themselves were fast, efficient, polite and professional. I can't imagine another roofing company doing a better job. At the end of the job, the foreman Armando was combing our grounds to ensure no nails or trash were left behind. Earlier this year, we discovered a leak in our upstairs bathroom (which we thought was either due to a skylight, or the dormer's roofing). We requested 3 different bids, including Best Coast Roofing. I will be using Best Coast Roofing for the rest of my home owning life, and you should too. My roof was leaking. Had a different roofing company come out and give me a quote of over $1200 to fix it and really pushed more on me, saying I basically had to completely replace both my chimneys and completely treat my roof. That company came out to my roof 3 times. All the while rain was leaking into my home. I called Cody at Best Coast to get a quote, he came out looked around, and did a temporary fix, regardless of whether or not I chose him for the work. So I recently discovered that something was leaking and assumed that it was my roof. Through Yelp I was able to shotgun out a message to a few places. I did receive a few responses from some but most weren't able to come out till almost a day later. One of the companies Yelp messaged was Best Coast Roofing and I did play some phone tag with Cody from the get go but he was out at my place in the morning to look at what was going on. He was able to figure out that it wasn't my roof that was leaking but an elbow bend on the Radon Pipe and that it should be covered through the home builder warranty. So he did a temporary fix to things would be ok for a little while and hopefully the builder don't screw us with the warranty work. Cody also was able to provide some good advice on things we should probably get done given our situation which we intend on doing. We now have a great looking roof, venting re-worked and a whole bunch of other things fixed by very poor roofing done by previous home owner. Had Cody come out to evaluate our roof last year. He was awesome and patched us up so we could make it another year before the big overhaul. Fast-forward to about a month ago. The Best Coast crew tore off our old, worn roof and replaced it with an amazing 30-year shingle roof that makes my house look like a castle. They were so respectful, clean, prompt and efficient. My roof is a two-story pitchy beast, so anyone who climbs up there to work is a ninja to me. They stuck to their more-than-fair estimate (no surprise costs at all), and overall I could not recommend this company more. I had a small repair that I needed to be completed on my Metal Roof. I called several roofing companies, only 2 called back. The one company wanted $300 plus $95 an hour before even assessing the job. The other company Best Coast Roofing; Mr. Garrett the owner, scheduled an appointment with me promptly and came out on a Friday evening, looked at my repair, he offered his expertise, advice and repaired my roof that same evening. Mr. Garrett was professional and showed he knew exactly how to fix the roof, he got up on his ladder used a special tool to bring the corner of the roof down and placed one metal screw in the corner. My metal roof now looks like new. When I asked "how much do I owe you?" Mr. Garrett said "there is no charge." It was so very nice of Mr. Garrett to fix my roof and not charge me for the repair, you certainly don't find that act of professionalism and kindness very often anymore. read more

I got a few quotes for my project and BCR's pricing was the best, and Cody's responsiveness and clarity were much better than the representatives of the other companies I had come by. He explained the need for some additional ventilation, sent drone shots during the two days the project took, and even installed a couple anchors for no additional charge. After looking over the situation he determined that the leak had been the result of the low pitch of my roof coupled with backed up water from tree debris...no repairs necessary! During this assessment Cody and I chatted and he educated me on roof maintenance and different roofing products that work well on homes with such a low angled pitch. I had a small leak and was sure that reroofing with about 300sqft of asphalt shingles would fix it. There were brackets from a patio cover on the roof, which made the job a bit more difficult. The first contractor said the job was too small and he did not want to mess with it. The second looked, took photos and said he would get back to me. I never heard from him. The third seemed ok and said he would have to check with his boss. I never heard from him. The fourth promised to be here at noon but did not show up. The last was Cody. He was enthusiastic, thorough and informative regarding my problem. The job was too small for a large roofing truck to put the shingles on my roof so Cody brought them in his pickup truck and carried each bundle up a ladder to my roof. He removed the first layer of shingles so that the new would match, rather than just going over the originals. He did a great job and my leak is gone. First class job and great attitude.
