The space is small, but there are tables if you want to eat inside. I opened my styrofoam container and was shocked at how the dish looked... so, the noodles were... good. I just wasn't used to that type of noodle (it was a superrrrr thin noodle) and the sauce was RED. There were plenty of veggies (cooked to perfection) and enough protein in there to satisfy the dish.you know how you just had your mouth set on something that you're USED to having a certain way for the most part? Yeah... that's what I was on this day, and I was just shocked that it wasn't like other drunken noodles I'd had. I might be back because it is pretty close to my house. This space does have good food, but I ordered the order online and paid for shrimp and extra chicken. Got my meal. The guy made sure to go over the bill to make sure I know what I ordered. I get home no shrimp a few pieces of chicken and three or four vegetables in here. The they offered to remake it, but I live so far away. It wasn't worth it. Dude just sound nonchalant about the order being wrong. Said the kitchen misread it. The original order was with shrimp add chicken. How do you forget the shrimp? Simply Thai is my go to for dinner when I don't feel like cooking however it's been a while since I last visit. I have to say I wasn't very pleased with my food. I ordered the fresh spring rolls which was not wrapped tight so they fell apart as soon as I picked one up to dip. The Kung Pai spaghetti was dry and too sweet and the pineapple fry rice was not very flavorful. Like I said it's my go to especially on weekdays for dinner but today was not the day. Yes, they are open! They just moved to the Paddock Hills Plaza Shopping Center, by the big post office on Lindbergh! I finally got back to them earlier this week, and, as always, the food is fantastic. The new place looks great, and everything was clean and bright. I don't know the proper name for what I had, but it was glass noodles with vegetables and chicken, and it was not spicy, which is just how I wanted it. It was great. My friend had the red curry with beef, which came out beautifully plated, and he said it was really spicy and really good. The vegetables in both dishes were crispy, but not overly crispy, and the meats were tender. Everything was super fresh! Oh, I also got the Thai iced tea, which is always excellent. read more

So I tried this place because I wanted some mango sticky rice. I had some great pineapple fried rice in Philly this summer that was the best & I saw that they had it too, so I ordered both. The sticky rice was delish as always but small for the price. The pineapple fried rice was very good but would have tasted better if I had the plum sauce that I forgot to get because I was in a rush. The service would've been better if the cashier guy had told me about the extra service charge when paying with a card & offering me condiments that he knew would've made my food so much better. I didn't dine in, but the place was a small, cozy spot with only about 6 tables. This is a great Thai spot near my home with great food, so I will definitely be back! read more

The food at the restaurant is awesome! Even dishes that you feel like are unusual and something you would normally order are very well prepared. The portion sizes are also good. This is easily one of my favorite restaurants in the North County area. The waitress are typically pleasant as well. I've been here twice and both times were due to a happy accident. We have been talking about Thai at work and ended up coming here and even ran into several people who also work for the same company. I guess my colleague and I weren't the only ones thinking about Thai food that day. This is not the closest Thai place to work so we rarely venture this way but the service has been wonderful both times and the food have always been delicious. I got my colleague hooked on Thai food and he said this place is much better than the chain Thai restaurant close to their house. I would have to agree. I've been to 3 or 4 different Thai places and I prefer this and Pearl over others. And I have said this before, too bad neither of them is a reasonable distance from where I live. When we came in last week, I tried their fried spring rolls served with sweet & sour sauce (4 small spring rolls in 1 order) and Thai butterflies (pretty much like crab ragoon) for an appetizer. Then I ordered a dish with their combination meat consisting pieces of chicken, shrimp, and beef sauteed in vermicelli noodles and fresh vegetables. The dish had a prominent yellow color so I'm not sure what type of sauce they added to it but it was delicious. The service has been wonderful both times. They had one person overseeing the dinning area to make sure no one's glass is empty and that no new diner is left to wait for too long by the door. When we came in, they had one person but as the lunch crowd started pouring in, another person came out from the back and started helping as well. My favorite Thai place in St. Louis! My boyfriend and I frequent this place whenever we can, and even after moving away from Florissant, I crave their food. Being from California, I get hit with cravings for spicy, authentic Asian food all the time, and Simply Thai hits the spot. I almost always order their Tom Yum noodle soup or Beef Noodles with some added heat. And the Thai ribs (SO juicy and tender) and Thai jerky (you'll never want regular beef jerky again) are fantastic appetizers. I love that there is an option for great Thai food in North County! I have only been able to eat here during lunch hours, so I can't say anything about dinner service speeds. There is a wonderful lunch menu that comes with an entre, rice, and either fried spring rolls or Thai butterfly (similar to crab Rangoon). My go-to order is the Tom Kha soup with chicken. I add a side of rice so that I can make more a meal out of the dish. There are varying levels of spice from 1 to 5- I typically order spice level 2 or 3. I think that spice level 1 is not enough (my soup tasted more sweet than spicy). I think that typical white people cannot handle a spicy level of 4 or 5- so be aware before you order the hottest option. I usually call my order in and it is ready when I pull up to the drive thru 10 minutes later. When I forget to call in my order first, I still go to the drive thru and my order is ready in about 5 minutes. I find that if I go inside to place a to-go order it takes a little bit longer to prepare. read more

I can't remember what I ordered but my dinning partner had the spicy green beans with beef and it was delicious! I can't recall too many details because that was a long time ago. My most recent visit I was please to see some updates and a giant menu! We split the fresh spring rolls and they were nice and fresh. The sauce was pretty sweet, but offered a nice flavor to the rolls. I ordered the stir fried cashew with chicken for my meal. This is my go to dish and it was good , but I would have liked more spice. Noted, next time I'll ask. Mike O. ordered the chili stir fry with pork and once again I had food envy. This dish had tons of flavor and was so tasty! Next time I am going with the chili stir fry. There are 8 tables or so. Or you can drive thru! Awesome! I ordered take out for the first time. They remembered the utensils and napkins. I'm always happy when people get it right and give me everything I need to eat what I ordered. I got the spicy catfish and chicken satay app. Both dishes were really good. The catfish was crispy and the sauce was really tasty. The veggies were fresh and cooked just the way I like them. I normally get the yellow curry however it's Not as good as they use to be. Vegetables were super soft, potatoes and broccoli had black spots on it. Use to get it with tofu all the time but the last two times it had a sour taste as if it was old. Even my son notice the same taste with a different dish. If you read this review start checking your dates on your tofu before making it for customers and throw out veggies if they start turning black. read more
